The whole point is that this is what is going on in Callie's head while she is lingering between life and death. When she first comes out of the ambulance she tries to say she can head singing, knowing that this means her brain is not functioning. I think the whole thing is incredibly moving and dramatic.

Sorry, but I really hate this. This song is beautiful and they've ruined it completly. Last time I checked "Grey's Anatomy" was a drama TV series, not a musical TV series. I'm not saying they're bad singers, I'm just saying the entire context is ridiculous... Singing during surgery??? Really??? :/

@jlel Patrick Dempsey actually has a form of dyslexia where he stutters.... and needs to have the script weeks in advance so he can pronounce and train his brain for the script with out stutters.... So I do not think he would be comfortable singing... but he is a great actor!

Although I really admire his perseverance and dedication in memorizing his script. It would surely keep his brain quite active! He sang one line in Enchanted though. Hehe...
