Actually Joe Smooth featuring (feat.) Anthony Thomas would be more usual, however as it is they get equal credit for one of the greatest house tunes ever, you must be very proud of your father.

@6robski8 True. DJs or the producer got top billing. This mentality comes from hip-hop where DJs played and the emcees were allowed to get on but had to wait for the DJ to say okay. When Grandmaster Flash came out with The Furious Five you'll notice it was HIS NAME first then the group. This prevailed in dance music and is still done to this day: look at David Guetta's name all over songs that feature artists like Chris Wilis, Kelly Rowland and LMFAO. It started with the DJ. :D
