@boarder551 You have to jog at about 10-15mph to the ocean, swim across until you hit a deserted island where you need to stay there for 2 weeks. Then you keep swimming until you reach Africa. Once in Africa, you need to find a wild white elephant, and the elephant will give you several plys of wood. When you get the wood, you need to find a tribe of native Africans. They will then turn the plys of wood into any soda factory board you want.

@Longboardfan you do get more grip with the purps, but i don't think having one of each on the same truck is gonna help at all. cuz you'll go to carve on the side with purps and grip, but then when you carve on the side with yellows you'll slide. i'd just go with the purps if you wanna be able to carve pretty hard still. i have em and they're grippy, but still slide easy.

@NovatoLongboarding yeah the color correction, but if you try to shoot a video, even if you color correct the footage you wont get the look this video has.

Depth of field, it loks like film, that is what I was talking about, you need a 35mm adapter to achieve that cinema look, not only color correct it.

I thought someone said that the dropped board with the big wedge in the front was a La La La (or whatever that deck was called) prototype... But it appears to be a Kebbek (graphic can be seen at 2:18).

All the boards in this film were a branch of Soda Factory Longboards, so either clutch, candyspanks or airotica.

The board at 2:18 could have although been something else, Jeremy was the rider there, but the board wasn't really meant to be picked out in the film lol. I didn't even notice it was different until now.

What fps do you shoot in? and what settings do you normally play with on color correction? The picture looks great!

I shoot in 30p on the DVX and for the 5D it was just standard 29.97. When i don't shoot fast moving subjects its generally 24p. As for color correction, it was all done in final cut pro with just the default RGB Adjuster

The faster the frame rate doesn't mean the better. 24fps is actually the frame rate you see in movies, it gives a very fluid film like image, but video cameras generally shoot at 30fps (29.97 to be exact) and the added frames make the image look jittery with too much motion. But if shot well, it works good with skateboarding. But I like the 24fps whenever im not shooting really fast motion.

Haha not at all. If our eye was "technically" registering light at 8fps, everything would be a blur. The debate on what the human eye see's is endless, some say 18fps, some say all the way up to 400fps. This also all depends on the the "shutter speed" of our eye. But again no one really knows, but one thing that is known is how 24fps with a shutter of 1/48th has been debated as the most natural and appealing speed for us to relate to as "reality" as we see it.
