  • This was the title of chapter 2 of Jean Shepherd's 1972 book "The Ferrari in the Bedroom," a tale of Shepherd flying to Chicago on a plane with a bunch of college students who broke out guitars and started singing folk songs on the plane. Wonder if that story inspired this song. imagine trying to take a guitar on a plane today!
