I just finished this game about 10 minutes ago and I still can't stop crying. Right as this music started playing I knew I was gonna cry. And right after EVA left, I bawled. But the very last scene, when Snake was at the grave... oh I'm still crying. This game is a masterpiece, and I will never forget the moments I had with it.

*SPOILERS* This was a sad ending until I realised something. She's in charge of the Cobras, so she sends them all out to kill you. This bit does make sense because it keeps Volgin happy. However, if she knew her mission was to be killed by you, then she essentially sent out her comrades to their deaths because she knew they would be defeated otherwise her mission would have been a failure. Not really very nice as far as I'm concerned... it's still a great ending though (y).

Remember Metal Gear Solid? Every member of FoxHound, knew Snake was going to kill them and allowed it to give Liquid the chance he needed to activate REX. Then there's Shalashaska.

If your better than him, he'll fight you until he becomes better than you hensforth the stand-offs, constant encounters, anger at any advice you give him, etc. The Fury just wants to kill you because he wants the world to burn because it's 'Fury'. The Sorrow, The End and -possibly- The Fear want a battle to the death yeah. Eather way, she still sent them out to die.

Few games catch emotion the way MGS3 does. I don't know why some people hate video games. It's not all run-and-gun. My favorite games mostly include the ones with great stories to tell, like Final Fantasy 9, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, MGS1, and MGS3 (haven't played 4 yet).

The game really ended right there for me. After I had to shoot the Boss, I was so distant during the showdown with Ocelot, and the following gameplay. That scene just took so much out of me, it was really hard to keep playing.

It was the cruelest thing a video game ever made me have to do--pressing the button that would officially end the fight with The Boss...It took me two whole minutes to realize the game was waiting on ME to act at that very moment and twice that long to take in the implications of that fact. Hard to explain it, but at that moment, I wasn't playing as Naked Snake, or Big Boss...I was playing as John, the man behind the codenames, the core of this character forced to make such a pivotal decision...
