This is so much better than the record version. A lot of the extra sounds feel so forced, but this is just James Taylor and a guitar. It's beautiful in its simplicity.
This song and video just makes you fall in love with James. The genuine love he puts into the words is outstanding. Absolutely one of the most touching songs I have ever heard and sooooooo sincere!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! Thank You James For One Of The Greatest.
I wonder if this song would work with anyone else's voice? The lyrics are a beautifu reflective poem, and the melody and rhythm pleasant and well suited to the pondering of a soul inclined to love. I just can't imagine any other voice pulling this song off, though.
