I had a good time when filming this show @ the Pittsburgh airport. I got to be an extra in it. Met all the stars, & ate w/them. They were very nice people. Doug Davidson was a real hunk.

That's the Pittsburgh International Airport and it's a really nice airport. Over the years Y&R has come to town and filmed various sequences often doubling as Genoa City's exterior. As a Pittsburgh viewer, the local news would promote the heck out of the occassion. I believe one time it was someone (Cricket?) in the trunk of a car or something--and another time Ashley had a car wreck and had a miscarriage while married to Brad.

Oh that wasn't Cricket in the trunk of the car it was Michael and yes they did quite a lot of location shooting in Pittsburge including the time when Phyllis ran down Cricket and Paul and now Y&R is set to tape a location in Paris! I can't wait!

Well, she didn't find out who her father was until after he'd been dead for a year. She met him once and she didn't even know it was him.

I loved that location shoot inside the airport it was just realistic. I hate that crappy set they use for the waiting area in the fake airport. I was even hoping they would do a location shoot inside a real shopping mall. But today they seem so limited with production values and very little use of location shooting the show stinks today.
