  • shit. i saw your blade i was across from you. i was riding white 1995 fireblde no 13

they put me in novice cuz i was first time at cadwell. Big damage ? which corner you lost it?

  • @mince2000 I lost it into Charlies 1. Went out following an instructor and instead of judging my own speed on cold tyres just blindly followed him. Stupid bloody mistake and all my own fault. The damage to the fairings is pretty bad, but mechanically it's not too awful.

    Video just uploaded.

  • @mince2000 Hey mince2000, was in your group on a black cbr600 fv, p reg. was my first track day, what happened to you in the last session? saw you stopped at barn just after the hairpin

  • @bluekontakt2004 hi mate. just after finish flag heard lound bang from exhaust and bike start coughing. thought that run out of petrol but later find out that voltage regulator burned a battery. so it cut a petrol pump and looked like runlned out of juice. cheap to fix it so not a big problem. doing cadwell on 29th april again. Realy enjoyed a circuit. You brave mate to choose cadwell as your 1st track day. Hope you enjoyed. Cuz ones you do a track day there's no way back:)

  • best video seen so far for quality and all info on screen. beutifull. done cadwell yesterday. loved it.

  • @mince2000 Thanks mate. I was there yesterday too, but screwed up in the fourth session and dropped it. Was in Inters on the old Repsol Blade.

  • hi mate nice vid, what timing kit are you using?

  • I'm using RaceChrono running on a Nokia N95 and hooked up to a bluetooth GPS (you can use the internal GPS on the phone, but a 5Hz external GPS is more accurate, I use a Qstarz BT-Q818 eXtreme). Stuck under the seat hump out of the way it's automatic once you've started it in the pits and gives you plenty of useful info. It also seems to be more reliable than my mates' expensive dedicated GPS lap timers. :)
