Hmm... there's a bit of a second player advantage, because they get to hear all the cues an extra time. To make it fair it should be staggered so that, rather than repeating the rounds in a 1,1,2,2 format, they should be given in a 1,2,2,1 format so each player plays first half the time, and each player plays second half the time.

Rhythm Tengoku is also an Arcade 1 or 2 player game for the SEGA NAOMI system. It was released somewhere between the GBA and NDS releases.
