Whats wrong with a Christian government under Newt Gingrich... Christ taught through word and action; love, compassion, forgiveness and joy... So in essence his teachings are encompassed in genuine love and unselfish social service. UMM... WAIT... Newt Gingrich and the Republican party are against all these things... Nevermind!
I have a question for all those who swallow it when Gingrich talks about secularism as trying to "re-define" this country. Clearly, he would not be saying this if you would stop buying it, and clearly, you're buying it because you haven't actually read the frickin' Constitution. So tell me, why is it so hard for you to just do that?
Religion is something that should never have left the limits of the church, period. If it is useful for some people to guide their lives and they believe in it, that's their choice, but writing those beliefs into law because a "sacred book" says it's the truth, is completely wrong. And it's not just there in America... A few months ago, Conservatives won by a landslide down here in Spain, and they are already tampering with a number of laws to make them more "Catholic-friendly"
I don't want to know what a candidate "believes." I want to know how s/he will govern responsibly, who s/he will govern responsibly (all the people, or just corporation "people") and what s/he thinks of as the true necessities. I do not want a candidate to pander to fear and superstition.
Note: i8ngrich didn't change religions. He changed Churches. As a responsible broadcaster, Cenk you ought to learn the differences.
@RebelWrestler45 Part 1: As a statement of "belief, this posting leaves much to be desired. As a reflection on Realpolitik, this statement is on par with believing in the Easter Bunny or believing that the Kardashians a worthy of attention.
There is not proof that these rascals actually believe what they're saying; there is every reason to conclude that their religious protestations are just panderings to their perceived focus audience.
@RebelWrestler45 Part 2: As such, statements of belief are useless in judging the efficacy of the candidates.
"Beliefs inform actions; always have; always will." Absolute nonsense. Actions are reactions to stimuli. Do I drink water because I "believe" I'm thirsty? No. Do some politicians, reacting to the stimulus of possible access to power (their real religion) make outlandish religious comments to help achieve that power? Almost certainly.
@polemius01 Not all actions are reactive; but let's assume that they are. Beliefs influence the manner in which we react to external stimuli, they arrange the constructs of our decision making paradigm .Whether Newt believes in the particular brand of bronze age mythology that he espouses doesn't really concern me; he has made it clear that he will vote and conduct policy in concordance with said beliefs. This is just as much about Newt's political ideology as it is about religion
1. "Not all actions are reactive." No action exists in a vacuum. Even the Philosophers, such as Aristotle and Aquinas knew this, Hence, "Uncaused Cause."
2. Beliefs "influence" is your statement here, yet above, you state "inform." Which is it?
3. "Constructs" may include beliefs, but include instinct, cultural body perception and body language, fear (and other) response(s). There's no proof that beliefs are necessary to reaction, or, "action."

@polemius01 Both are true of actions; beliefs inform the manner in which we think we should react; but beliefs are not determinative of any course of action, as our decision making paradigm include everything from fixed action patterns produced by the innate releasing mechanism, to personality type. Beliefs therefore influence actions, but by no means automate action.
@RebelWrestler45 If this were a class in which first, second and third drafts of a paper were being discussed and submitted, my response would be more open. However, in a public forum, one ought to have a clear idea about what s/he is saying, and not "tweak" when being confronted.
@RebelWrestler45 Pt 2: Gingrich's beliefs are suspect, given the myriad of Churches he has attended and espoused. His latest "Catholic" phase, inspired no doubt by the devout Catholic woman with whom he committed adultery, might be the mere plaything of the moment for him, or, an attempt at greater self-aggrandizement (he's nearer to the Pope!), or a cynical play for votes.
Gingrich has no real central belief system, other than the belief that he's a great man.
@polemius01 It is of course true, as both of us have established, that beliefs are not integral to every action, yet actions which seek to revise cultural norms and social development in the political sphere are necessarily driven by personal ideology; or at the very least, the espousal of a personal ideology or belief system for one's own ends. I agree that Newt may very well be disingenuous, most politicians are; I am just worried about him acting in accordance w/ said ideology.
@RebelWrestler45 I'm not quite sure what "both" of us have established, but there is still more tweaking.
Politicians and their beliefs are trotted out during election periods, and, especially with Gingrinch, one can see how he has flip-flopped on many issues. His beliefs are therefore, questionable.
The real horror story is Santorum, who really does believe all the horrible teachings of the RCC, and expresses very little of anything positive that the Church embodies.
@polemius01 Part 2. Back to your assertion that actions are reactions to stimuli: no, I'm sorry, you added a prefix 're' to an existing noun and then use it to define said root noun, claiming that they are effectively the same? All reactions are actions, but not all actions are reactions; need me to draw you a chart? I wholeheartedly agree that statements of belief are useless in judging the efficacy of a candidate, but they do demonstrate intent; and I don't like Newt's intentions.
@RebelWrestler45 So sad that you added this posting, further showcasing your ignorance of causality and philosophical, as well as physical, data.
You're just not up to this. Perhaps, instead of the chart you so gratuitously offered, you might want to check out a "Golden Book" about the world, or nature, or the like, with color pictures.
All the GOP candidates are bat-shit insane. If these candidates are the best they have to offer then the GOP should declare bankruptcy and be done with it.
It's amazing that the word faith is always thrown around as being a good quality for this country's citizens to have. Belief that does not stand on logic? You think I should have that quality? No thanks. You can keep it.
@rp1dmc and obama is antichrist and obamas daughters are devils of baylon LOL............cons got no brain instead they got gunpowder in their head.......
Religion shouldn't have any say in what governs a country. I'm Roman Catholic, but, I don't see the point in carrying Religious beliefs into something that governs so many people of so many different beliefs. You could be Protestant, Roman Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. or non-Religious. It's a personal thing that you can't expand towards everybody.
@Ian74263 True, but morals certainly should be put forward. If a Catholic RAN FOR PRESIDENT AND UPHELD RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND NO HAVING THE STATE RECONGNIZE CATHOLICISM, would object? WOULD you object if he opposed all forms of abortion and gay marriage? Yes, maybe, but what if he opposed these thigns because he held values of family and supporting life instead of being a stereotypical religious fanatic? We have our own reasons we oppose these things and its certainly not because of fanaticism.
THEOCRACY OF HYPOCRACY. Newt Gingrich is the last person in the univrse who I would turn to for suggestions of how to be moral. He woud sell his own mother to crack house pimp for a dime. I'm frankly surprised he hasn't been arrested yet for being a child molester as well. It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I'm sure that will come.
Newt is on to it. God is essential in the constitution of the USA. God is where you get your power and freedom, not government. I cant stand government even here in my country Canada.
There are trying to tax my small business to death as we text!
@EF2000CanFly What do you know of our constitution? Read the first amendment about separation of church and state. Then the treaty of Tripoli.
Lets quickly observe of history. Ancient Greece. Highpoint. No God. Middle (Dark) Ages? Crusades? Persecution? Massacres? Stagnation of modern scientific advancement? All under God. Thats why our founding fathers (with deism and enlightenment leading thought of most intellectuals) separated religion and state.
@EF2000CanFly "God is essential in the constitution of the USA. God is where you get your power and freedom, not government."
No 'god' is essential to US constitution. What is essential is the core value to respect and protect (with equality) through the Law if necessary... Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Nowhere in the bible is this stated. You'd think your 'god' would have done so. Pity. Evidently the framers of the Constitution loved and respected us more.
The argument is not Christians Vs. Atheists, its the educated against the uneducated. Unfortunately, most of Americans are incredibly uneducated, as well as Christian. Luckily, I am both Christian and Canadian, as well as have a passion for politics, truth, and common sense. That is why I believe education to be so important and why everyone should be taught to see both sides of the spectrum, believing and non-believing. Then everyone can make informed opinions. If only...
Gingrich is a moron that does not know what the hell he is talking about and it's sad that the republicans are considering making this moron their candidate.
People! Allah has provided a great reward for his servants in paradise, you will have all what your souls desire and when you convert you will become sinless like a baby. Dont let the devil deceive you by the love of this world. Know that the great disasters are a test from Allah. Also know that ALLAH's wrath is severe, mostly to the heedless. The people lie about God to deceive and Jesus is NOT the Son of God and NEVER WILL. Know that our Lord is one, Our God is one, worship and serve him ONLY.
@EF2000CanFly Wrong. I went to a Christian school until high school. I never claimed any person to be superhuman. I believe there is a truth that comes from god. Just not yours. Man has continually drifted from your religion and for good reason. Slavery, execution of nonvirgins, nonbelievers, the eradication of entire people, massacres of women and children etc. I have grown to deny the bible because I dont believe god would create life just to send it to eternal torment.
We have to stope these theocratic dominionist fascists! This is supposed to be a secular country that respects the diversity of it's people. These people are basically the Christian Taliban and must be stopped.
@JustPlaneNuts You have been lied to by your government! There really is a God in the middle of all this reality.
The secular socialist model is a failure! God is the most important ingredient to a prosperous and happy nation.
Secularism will breed, hopeless people who walk around like zombies.... They have no hope or peace. When loved ones die, the wail in agony, with no hope. Evil is around them, they are like dried branches separated from the root and trunk.
@EF2000CanFly "The secular socialist model is a failure! God is the most important ingredient to a prosperous and happy nation."
This secular government was created because of the example of centuries of terrible consequences when the church is married to the State. So the framers of the US Constitution wrote religion out of Civil government. It's telling also that there are no Bill of Rights in the bible. You'd think a 'god' that loves you would have written one there. :-/
@EF2000CanFly Hey, you can believe anything you want, It's a free country, well, It's supposed to be. But I'm an atheist and I don't appreciate you shoving your superstitious bullshit down my throat and trying to make it the law of the land. This is a diverse country, it has many people of many different religions, and branches of religions, if you build it around one religion it discriminates against people of different faiths or no faith. How can you not see that? Like religious law? goto Iran
@EF2000CanFly I do not have your god yet I am more morally bound by logic and sanity than most Christians. Hell, half the old testament is full of evil deeds which were, ironically ordered by god. Today we recognize the evilness even if you dont directly acknowledge this.10 commandments? Do we prosecute for worshipping a different god? A carven image? Not going to church or working on Sunday? How about disobeying your parents? Wanting your neighbors wife?
@UncontestedTruth I know you have been indoctrinated by the secular left wing from K-12. But you must have an open mind and reason with the truth of God with all reverence. We are free in Christ to approach the throne of Grace.
That is why I am in favour of rebuking the Judicial System.. Newt is right! All Judges are are merely appointed lawyers! Just men and feminist women who are subjected to colds and flues and sin just as the rest of us. Layers are not superhuman!
@noodlezombie No. It's a record of morality. A conduit perhaps. It is not the source of morality. Like culture, religion and language, morality too comes from people, community, civilization -- our minds. Anyway, I'm glad you're done.
no. none of the 10 commandments are even mentioned in the legislature of the united states. only theft and murder are considered illegal, and those two have been found in society codes predating the 10 commendments by thousands of years.
@EF2000CanFly , Completely false. While there may be similar tenets we live by, and maybe they did come from the Ten Commandments, but laws are made based on need for civilized society, not God's Word. This country is NOT a theocracy.
Therefore no religious doctrine can possibly suffice for Governing, not is it a replacement for the Rule of Law.
if you are at all familiar with the Old Testament section of the Bible, you will realize how primitive and barbaric it is.
@ffairlane57 I believe when Jesus Christ returns to this earth as a King of kings and Lord of lords, there will be a perfect theocracy set up, and he will rule the nations of the world from the throne of David in Israel in Zion.
God promises us this will happen along with 1000 year reign of Christ on this very earth.
@ffairlane57 It is the best thing to live for. What could be greater than the study of God Himself? Name one!
Christ invites us " Come unto me and ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give your rest..."
He also says "take my yoke upon you and learn of me"
I have faith in Christ, myself I only have faith in Christ who is within me. Lo we are His hands and feet. As for my self, we are crucified with Christ, yet I live, not I but Christ who live within me!
@EF2000CanFly fantastic show man, can you now say something that you thought of yourself, insted of repeating some old fashioned story that has been misinturpeted over 2000 years already... *grin*
@EF2000CanFly To paraphrase George Carlin, the God excuse is the last refuge of a man with no answers. Can you think for yourself for once? You have a brain, use it.
There is God! He has revealed Himself to us in Jesus Christ. He left us His word too!
He did not hide His will for us, or leave it only for certain people. He left it to us. Read the Holy Bible. It is pure and stood the test of time. Start with the gospels and learn of Christ.
@CoboWowbo Hello, EF2000CanFly cannot prove Jesus (PBUH) is the lords of the lords as he is telling a lie. There is only one god Allah. Search Miracles of Islam for his signs of his existence. CoboWowbo I am not trying to offend you just saying that EF2000CanFly is telling a lie
Newt Gingrich doesn't get it. Theocracy has been tried, for thousands of years, and it always is a disaster for the minorities, with state endorsed and mandated persecution. The founders knew that in order to have freedom of religion, you must have freedom from religion. The US government is supposed to officially remain neutral on matters of religiosity, this is to protect everyone of all religions and of those who don't believe as well.
Many Christians want to believe so badly they will ignore scientific evidence, reason, common sense and their own better judgment. Religions have perverted the meaning of the word "truth." The Websters Dictionary definition says what the word means: truth: "being in accord with fact or reality." Search for "Church of Innerspace" in Google, click the first result, and read what it says to learn the truth.
@judoyodan eradication of religion is another religion (90% people can't help themselves they have to believe in god or some other crap like communism). Good old rule that liberty of my fist is limited by your nose holds and satisfies all except people who want to rule others' lives.
@judoyodan Well religion can literally be defined as the logical fallacy "Arguement from ignorance". Secularism is a good thing, religion being a governing body is incredibly dangerous, one only has to read the history books to realize that.
Gingrich couldn't even get 10,000 qualifying signatures from a population of 7.8 million people. Needless to say, he didn't qualify for the Virginia primaries.
@EF2000CanFly There's nothing wrong with Virginia; it's that Gingrich was unable to secure 10,000 qualifying signatures from Virginians. Front runners like Paul and Romney had no trouble securing these signatures and will be included in the Virginia primary vote.
@EF2000CanFly With Newt's imploding campaign, Paul is scaring some in the GOP because of how much Paul is surging. With his growing support, Paul has the ability to hand the presidency back to Obama if the GOP doesn't nominate him.
He could be their best choice in the first place, as Paul takes away the Independent vote from Obama. He also takes the youth vote. Not to mention the growing number of Paul Democrats. These things paired with his surging support makes Paul a real force in 2012.
Newt is the man you guys! You got to love him! America need to be strong again and rule with a rod! Do not let China push you around with their communism. You still have the upper hand by far on them, but you got to fix what is broke!
@EF2000CanFly China is far from communist... I hope you don't mind Americans getting a second wind of Manifest Destiny to go North and South and conquer all the Americas?
@EF2000CanFly Virginia his "home town"? Gingrich can't even win Virginia; he already didn't qualify. That's a large reason why his campaign is imploding.
Remember, Virginia pulls the 12th largest number of votes in the nation; Gingrich will be getting none of them.
The two front runners who actually do qualify for voting in Virginia are Paul and Romney. Again, Paul and Romney will be the only 2 on the Virginia ballots.
Despite Cenk's propaganda filled rant. What he's saying in the comment is that the atheist agenda of silencing all religious practice in public, the work place or military is is being propped up by the courts. Such as prayer being taken out of school or the "one nation under God" being taken out of the pledge ect. The courts are being used to make religion illegal except in your home. What he said is true. Also he never mentioned Christianity but apparently Cenk hates Christians.
We used to believe in Freedom and individual liberty. You go back and you read people like Jefferson and you see how much intense, deep thought went into forming the principles of our government. They thought out all the consequences of the government's structure and the way power is wielded and best combated, the duty of citizens, etc. Our country was crafted by political philosophers and is now being run and influenced by big greedy idiots with $ signs in their eyes. No wisdom whatsoever
@noodlezombie If you weren't so hell bent on you own position (that Christianity is the source of morality) you'd realise that it is groundless. We aren't debating what Jesus said or when he said it. Also, weren't talking about ways and contexts of worship. And regardless of how muddled Jesus' teachings have become, that is all beside the point. Before calling people 'idiots', consider addressing the topic in a meaningful way. Read my posts and comprehend them, rather than assume.
It's very very scary that people as deluded as those commenting here are wielding the power of the republican party, forcing their religion on this country which is supposed to be secular and plural. America is turning into a North Korea with fascist "killing in the name Jesus" assholes that have contempt for the poor and defines themselves by their riches. This country is going straight to hell because of this credulous ilk. Thanks for helping destroy this country you deluded assholes.
So in an age where web traffic is 80 plus percent porn related, let us not point out sins of others from decades ago. especially from that sexually perverted cult member Mitt!
@EF2000CanFly If people like you really exist in mass numbers, then this country gets what it deserves. Truly turning into a theocratic fascist state where the religious fist fuck their religion down other peoples throats. I'll be far away watching the country dissolve back into a 3rd world country.
@EF2000CanFly Ok. So you want theocracy, exactly what our fore founders tried to escape from. Authoritarian totalitarianism enforced by the parties of god. In other words, the dark ages. Newt 2012 for the dark ages! Theocratic totalitarianism FTW!
@EF2000CanFly Flawed. It's immoral to suggest that we can't be good unless there's a celestial dictator watching you of every minute of every day. Right and wrong are inherent in our species well being. It's an emergent property directly correlating with out happiness and prosperity. Moral truths are objective and can be looked at. Besides, most christians are morally superior to the god of the bible as well as most secular humanists. Good humanists are probably the most moral on average.
@EF2000CanFly Just because you say so doesn't make it true. YOU and people like you who are deluded need the god drug. That's fine, but leave me and the rest of free society out of your bronze age myths. Stop trying to shove it down mine and other people's throats. This needs to be fought. This is not a "christian nation", this is a secular plural nation that doesn't respect one religion over them all. That's why you, and your ilk are theocratic fascists.
@EF2000CanFly "Secularism is a failed model. PEOPLE NEED GOD"
Put down that bottle of faith and find a moment of clarity.
Secularism in government and society was the necessary result because of the centuries of evidence of what happened when Organized Religion is married with the State. Our republics removed the fangs and power from religion to exert its force through Law. The result? Far less bloodshed and oppression of the people, less ignorance and a more responsive clergy.
I'm Catholic, but ashamed that this slimy Newt shares the same faith as I do. He believes in the exact opposite of what Jesus taught and is a horrible monster as well. Even though I'm religious, a theocracy is the last thing I want, because the people who want it are extreme right wingers and always end up twisting the religion. Just look at Saudi Arabia or the Taliban for starters.
Can we judge? Who among us has looked at internet porn online????
If we have, we are guilty of sexual sin just as Newt was..... lo if you have even thought of sexual sin with another other than your wife you are guilty of adultery just as Newt!
Now he got caught....... but so could you. the government can trace every site we have ever viewed from our hosts and CPU browsers.... there is a digital finger print left on every site
@BattleProf53 Just drop the entire thing. Jesus wasn't the one who supposedly wrote the bible and both halfs condone slavery and the hatred for gays. Funny how moderates claim a horrible belief system along with a more honest/extreme member yet claim they don't want the same type of government. If your religion is perfect and is suppose to help people be moral, why wouldn't you want it as our government? Is it because you know only one little piece is moral and it's not a perfect system?
To fellow Ron Paul supporters, while it is hard to understand why someone would not agree with most, or all, of Ron Paul's views, the most productive field may just be the other half of Americans who do not even vote. If each of us were to reach out to one more voter, convinclngly make Paul's case, and help that person get to the polls, we would double our vote. To the other half of non-voting Americans, we need you in this hour, in the fight for freedom, and liberty!
@suzbarker Newt is a Catholic, and I conclude that Catholics are in the biggest cult in the world. But I think it is a lesser evil than the satanic myth of Mormon/
They don't like Ron Paul because he's anti war and wants us to get out of the business of doing Israel's bidding against the interest of the U. S., the only thing he's consistently right about, besides auditing the FED. Bernanke and the rest of those goons think that money is theirs to do with whatever they please.
BUT, as far as Paul's rants about the "gold standard" etc. he has a whole lot to be desired. As owner of several MINES and mining corps, and interest in more, he is not credible.
You secular atheist dogs will see whats up in eh next life.... that is unless you believe that when you die, you just sleep forever and do not wake up.
Man has messed up the truth with his dumb religion, but the truth of God still stands!
@EF2000CanFly Seriously, please pray all you want to any god you want. Just don't expect everyone to do same. This is a free country that prides itself on freedom of and from religion. Gov must not endorse your particular delusion.
@EF2000CanFly That is your convenient interpretation and it contradicts what Jesus says in Matt 5:19 . All the law must be followed, otherwise Jesus will burn you in hell.
@camilocuesta The law is not how we get saved, Only believe on the Lord Jesus and you can be saved. He died in order that we might be saved in His death. See how we live in the death of the perfect man. Propitiation in Christ!
@EF2000CanFly yes the bible is a great book if you ignore all its problems such as we know now that a lot of what it says when it comes to medicine is crap and the god of that book is more unstable then a schizophrenic and it's laws are stupid and unjust ( Deuteronomy 22 as an example) yah its a great book if your looking to give kids nightmares or if you want a good laugh
@drakonloki The law was given to Moses and the people of Israel... you know Israel the little nation that is in the News all the time?
But the Law was given, to show the people that we could not keep it. We need Grace. Jesus Christ was the grace that we need. He was the lamb of God.
It pleased God to bruise Him. By His stripes we are healed. God gave his only son to be tormented and killed on a cruel Roman cross, so we could be free!
@EF2000CanFly ok what did the law say about children and if they make fun of a bald priest at the time because I dont think sending a couple of bears to kill 44 children when their only crime was making' or laughing at a joke is any wear near a fair punishment
@drakonloki We do not know how old the mockers were..... the lesson to be learned perhaps is... God is not mocked.... that goes for the Bill Mares, and Jon Stewards of the world. Never mind Elisha or bears or fire from heaven, imagine fires and torments which last forever and ever..... this is the biblical description of hell which all ungodly will inherit.
It does not matter what we believe or imagine to be fair or just. God is God and can do His will no matter what we think!
@drakonloki So my reaction is to fear the Lord with all wisdom and humility!
If you want to scoff and mock the truth of God, that is your choice your choice I guess! But the word of God and the truth of God will crush fools in the end!
@eVVVVV Let me contrast your question wit ha lie. Do you know what a lie is? Untruth? A cover up? deception? Ie. a fool heard the 911 was an inside job, then he believes that and asserts it and so on. He bought a lie. Another example, many smart people believed and thought the earth was round!
Truth is how it truly is. We believe there truly is a Creator God, and he deals with man, personally, and has revealed His word in the Holy Bible! This is out faith. The truth of God claims us!
So tell us 'EF'. What is that 'truth'? And what is the core value of that belief system? And how does it relate to the topic of this video? That is to say the true nature of the U.S. Civil government.
@EF2000CanFly first the bible describes them as little children and unless god is bald they weren't talking about god but that's besides the point the reason I mock the bible/religion is because its all the same they all believe they have the answers they all have their own scriptures, laws, and other holly texts and they all have their own evidence to back up their claims such as miracles and other religious phenomenon
@EF2000CanFly look I'm not saying there isn't a god but tell me besides that you were raised to believe it or you get comfort in thinking your religion is right how is it more right than the Norse, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, and thousands of other religions and spiritual practices throw the 20,000+ years we were on this earth because the people who believe/ believed in them they feel the same about their believes for the same reasons as you do for yours
@EF2000CanFly Speaking of the Republican party... I would gladly go to hell (if their was one) to avoid spending eternity with shit-heads like Cain, Perry, Backmann and Palin. Can you imagine getting up everyday to listen to the same drivel from every TV evangelist and paranoid Christian hypocrite in history. NO THANKS SEND ME TO HELL ASAP!
I liked some of your other videos but no thought went into this one. You know perfectly well that he is not advocating one exact branch of religion. But enough people are stupid so they will think you are making a valid point. Th government today is becoming anti-religion. Specifically anti-christian. They don't care which branch.
@7117hpr7117 How exactly is it becoming anti-religion in general? I don't see any other religion bitching about anti-religion in the gov't. Do you see muslims, jews, hindus, or buddhists complaining? No. When people bring this up, they often speak of pro-choice as being an anti-religion agenda. What religion do the vast majority of pro-lifers follow? Christianity. You have to be blind to not see the honest to god truth here.
@7117hpr7117 That is because you have evangelical turds, pedophile priests, tax free reverends and greedy churches that prey on the dullards in the flock. That's why they call it a flock. If I had to pick one I would be a Jehovah dancer.
Mormonism is a Cult Mitt has lost all sound judgment to endorse a cult that exults a Child pedophile polygamist , and rapist Joesph Smith.
Mormonism is the very definition of religious deception. He believes that he will be a god of his own planet one day. If you can understand that the Mormon doctrine is a lie, a cult, and heresy of the first order... what can you understand?
Mormonism is a lie. When I figured out Glen Beck was one, he lost credibility as a loon does. Newt 2012
@Demarcoa You think science has neer been used as propaganda? It has. Ever heard of social darwinism? Sure, you wont agree that its real science. But hey, I dont consider this neocon brand of christianity a real religion. I hope we are done now. I dont need youtube to argue wirh people who are 100% right. Im married. bye.
My cousins are far right people.think that poor people dont work and are to lazy to get a job we should reform food stamps/welfare cheeks for a couple months or something like that when you get unemployed to motivate them to get a job etc;but they atleast know that newt is shit. They know newt cheated on his wife while she was in the hospital and cheated on that wife also and spent a lot of money on Tiffanys so they are not going to vote for him and his "family values".But they are voting for mit
Whats wrong with a Christian government under Newt Gingrich... Christ taught through word and action; love, compassion, forgiveness and joy...

There is not proof that these rascals actually believe what they're saying; there is every reason to conclude that their religious protestations are just panderings to their perceived focus audience.
polemius01 3 weeks ago
@RebelWrestler45 Part 2: As such, statements of belief are useless in judging the efficacy of the candidates.
"Beliefs inform actions; always have; always will." Absolute nonsense. Actions are reactions to stimuli. Do I drink water because I "believe" I'm thirsty? No. Do some politicians, reacting to the stimulus of possible access to power (their real religion) make outlandish religious comments to help achieve that power? Almost certainly.
Go back to sleep, RebelWrestler.
polemius01 3 weeks ago
@polemius01 Not all actions are reactive; but let's assume that they are. Beliefs influence the manner in which we react to external stimuli, they arrange the constructs of our decision making paradigm .Whether Newt believes in the particular brand of bronze age mythology that he espouses doesn't really concern me; he has made it clear that he will vote and conduct policy in concordance with said beliefs. This is just as much about Newt's political ideology as it is about religion
RebelWrestler45 3 weeks ago
@RebelWrestler45 Pt 1: Many flaws:

However, in a public forum, one ought to have a clear idea about what s/he is saying, and not "tweak" when being confronted.
polemius01 3 weeks ago
@RebelWrestler45 Pt 2: Gingrich's beliefs are suspect, given the myriad of Churches he has attended and espoused. His latest "Catholic" phase, inspired no doubt by the devout Catholic woman with whom he committed adultery, might be the mere plaything of the moment for him, or, an attempt at greater self-aggrandizement (he's nearer to the Pope!), or a cynical play for votes.
Gingrich has no real central belief system, other than the belief that he's a great man.
polemius01 3 weeks ago
@polemius01 It is of course true, as both of us have established, that beliefs are not integral to every action, yet actions which seek to revise cultural norms and social development in the political sphere are necessarily driven by personal ideology; or at the very least, the espousal of a personal ideology or belief system for one's own ends. I agree that Newt may very well be disingenuous, most politicians are; I am just worried about him acting in accordance w/ said ideology.
RebelWrestler45 3 weeks ago
@RebelWrestler45 I'm not quite sure what "both" of us have established, but there is still more tweaking.
Politicians and their beliefs are trotted out during election periods, and, especially with Gingrinch, one can see how he has flip-flopped on many issues. His beliefs are therefore, questionable.
The real horror story is Santorum, who really does believe all the horrible teachings of the RCC, and expresses very little of anything positive that the Church embodies.
polemius01 3 weeks ago

Can we view yours?

@BattleProf53: Never fear, we don't blame the Catholic Church for Newty-Newt, who after all, only converted so he could get his latest wife.
Wendy62 2 months ago

So Newt supports the teachings of Cathol.... Catholithisim. The giant QTip is a Catholic.... So he HAD to have his former marriages annuled.

@EF2000CanFly Seriously, please pray all you want to any god you want. Just don't expect everyone to do same. This is a free country that prides itself on freedom of and from religion. Gov must not endorse your particular delusion.

@EF2000CanFly
"the truth of God" ? Which One ?
If you discredit all of the religions as false, what are you subscribing to as the truth ?
Whatever doctrine you lay claim to comes from and forms a "religion" in and of itself.
There are over 10,000 sects of Christianity alone. Who are you to claim to know the "truth", when every Christian makes the same claim?
smaugfrost 2 months ago 2
@smaugfrost The God of the bible. The God of Israel.
I got directly from the bible to understand God and His will.
You can as well. You do not need a temple or building to do that. Know the bible is true and real! That is all you need
EF2000CanFly 2 months ago
@EF2000CanFly The bible orders us to kill people who work on sundays on Exodus 35:2, if the bible is true, why don't we do that ?
camilocuesta 2 months ago
@camilocuesta It was Sat the 7th day and in hte context of the Jewish people. Are we Jews? Not!
Jesus Christ when He died for our sin on the cross, abolished the snare and condemnation of the law so we who believe might be free and saved!
EF2000CanFly 2 months ago
@EF2000CanFly That is your convenient interpretation and it contradicts what Jesus says in Matt 5:19 . All the law must be followed, otherwise Jesus will burn you in hell.
camilocuesta 2 months ago
@camilocuesta and if the laws of your country are morally WRONG and you rebel against them, would Jesus burn you in hell?
i sak that as under the 3rd Riech's laws jews where considered not human(undermenchen)
or how about Gypies?
sleaverly also comes under that.
your really have not thought your inane rambelings through
grahamkeithtodd 2 months ago
@camilocuesta The law is not how we get saved, Only believe on the Lord Jesus and you can be saved. He died in order that we might be saved in His death. See how we live in the death of the perfect man. Propitiation in Christ!
EF2000CanFly 2 months ago
@EF2000CanFly yes the bible is a great book if you ignore all its problems such as we know now that a lot of what it says when it comes to medicine is crap and the god of that book is more unstable then a schizophrenic and it's laws are stupid and unjust ( Deuteronomy 22 as an example) yah its a great book if your looking to give kids nightmares or if you want a good laugh
drakonloki 2 months ago 2
@drakonloki The law was given to Moses and the people of Israel... you know Israel the little nation that is in the News all the time?
But the Law was given, to show the people that we could not keep it. We need Grace. Jesus Christ was the grace that we need. He was the lamb of God.
It pleased God to bruise Him. By His stripes we are healed. God gave his only son to be tormented and killed on a cruel Roman cross, so we could be free!
Serious stuff!
EF2000CanFly 2 months ago
@EF2000CanFly ok what did the law say about children and if they make fun of a bald priest at the time because I dont think sending a couple of bears to kill 44 children when their only crime was making' or laughing at a joke is any wear near a fair punishment
drakonloki 2 months ago
@drakonloki We do not know how old the mockers were..... the lesson to be learned perhaps is... God is not mocked.... that goes for the Bill Mares, and Jon Stewards of the world. Never mind Elisha or bears or fire from heaven, imagine fires and torments which last forever and ever..... this is the biblical description of hell which all ungodly will inherit.
It does not matter what we believe or imagine to be fair or just. God is God and can do His will no matter what we think!
EF2000CanFly 2 months ago
@drakonloki So my reaction is to fear the Lord with all wisdom and humility!
If you want to scoff and mock the truth of God, that is your choice your choice I guess! But the word of God and the truth of God will crush fools in the end!
EF2000CanFly 2 months ago
@EF2000CanFly "But the word of God and the truth of God will crush fools in the end!"
I've often wondered what they mean when some people invoke "the truth of God"? What is that 'truth'? What is the core value of that belief system?
eVVVVV 2 months ago
@eVVVVV Let me contrast your question wit ha lie. Do you know what a lie is? Untruth? A cover up? deception? Ie. a fool heard the 911 was an inside job, then he believes that and asserts it and so on. He bought a lie. Another example, many smart people believed and thought the earth was round!
Truth is how it truly is. We believe there truly is a Creator God, and he deals with man, personally, and has revealed His word in the Holy Bible! This is out faith. The truth of God claims us!

@EF2000CanFly invoked "the truth of God"
So tell us 'EF'. What is that 'truth'? And what is the core value of that belief system? And how does it relate to the topic of this video? That is to say the true nature of the U.S. Civil government.
eVVVVV 2 months ago
@EF2000CanFly first the bible describes them as little children and unless god is bald they weren't talking about god but that's besides the point the reason I mock the bible/religion is because its all the same they all believe they have the answers they all have their own scriptures, laws, and other holly texts and they all have their own evidence to back up their claims such as miracles and other religious phenomenon
drakonloki 2 months ago
@drakonloki Again, God has His reasons for everything. Even the tough things we do not get. One day we will know if it is His will.
He tests a man.

@EF2000CanFly That didn't answer my question so if you don't have an answer then just say that
drakonloki 2 months ago

CATSASS1117 2 months ago 2
I liked some of your other videos but no thought went into this one. You know perfectly well that he is not advocating one exact branch of religion. But enough people are stupid so they will think you are making a valid point. Th government today is becoming anti-religion. Specifically anti-christian. They don't care which branch.
7117hpr7117 2 months ago
@7117hpr7117 How exactly is it becoming anti-religion in general? I don't see any other religion bitching about anti-religion in the gov't. Do you see muslims, jews, hindus, or buddhists complaining? No. When people bring this up, they often speak of pro-choice as being an anti-religion agenda. What religion do the vast majority of pro-lifers follow? Christianity. You have to be blind to not see the honest to god truth here.
lozoft9 2 months ago

Newt 2012
