same problem.. trying to jailbreak my ipod 2g by unofficalsnow I followed all the directions, but when it went to reboot it never came back on. there is no power.. ive tried plugging it in to the computer but also cannot get into DFU mode because it said, usb not recognized unknown device.. i have done force restarting holding the power and home button for 10seconds or whatever i have tried all that and it doesnt work.. help me pls.. is there anything to fix it?

Dude, calm down, youve jus followed one of the steps wrong, its easy to restore - just connect ur ipod to ur PC and put it in DFU mode and hit restore on Itunes then when thats done just restore it to your last sync :)

when i open the RUNME. the black rectangle screen comes up and gos away instantly.. this happens every time i try to open it plzzzz help

after i put into dfu mode and run RUNME it ask me to press any key.....

I press enter but it says "ipod not found"

to make sure your ipod is connected and in dfu mode, go to itune and it should say that your ipod is in restore mode. if not, you might want to check your usb port to see if theres any problem with it
