  • The whole monster in the basement scene ..as they use for example as a cliche ...was in fact such a breathtaking scene ...Clarice vunerable uncertain of her fate and the fate of the victim, traumas from the past that she wants to finally bury ... I really am suprised how they viewed that final showdown .

  • This was such an emotionally impacting film ..It dealt with fear , sexism within and outside clarices life working with the FBI ..Personal demons ,deep wounds that have to be confronted ..Hannibal lecter was an antihero only for clarice to gain perseptive and then some ... Hannibal the cannibal and buffalo bill were cheap names given ...How so ? we do the same with serila killers in RL...I dont agree with siskel on his point that it didnt teach a thing about serial killers ...100% wrong .

  • Now and then, Ebert induces vomiting. Makes you wonder who accepts his taste directions.

  • Has Siskel ever been this 100%, completely wrong about a film?

  • wow, they were pretty far off the mark lol

  • @NatureReflects

Ebert liked it and gave it Thumbs Up

  • Then and now , Roger Ebert induces vomiting. Makes you wonder who accepts his taste directions!

  • @kellygreen5556

What? He's one of the best critics ever. You know Siskel's the one that hated this, right?

  • OMG is ebert ugly

  • Ebert reviews movies from and average movie goer prespective siskel god rest his soul knows movies but sometimes is out of touch with avg people and what they like in films.

  • Oh shut up...this film is perfect everyway....sht the hell up.....the diologe is extremely great and the tension is superb i agree the ending dosnt match the fillm overall dam you reviewers

  • @Mightymazza2 "...and a nice ciantee sssslsslslslslslslss" yeah... hannibal was incredibly silly and kooky rather than intimidating.

  • @Mightymazza2 i agree

  • goodbye horses

  • Siskel's likes the sound of his own voice a bit too much, eh? Ebert lets people have their own view. Even Mark Kermode is more courteous. :-)

  • How..... can he not like this movie!? And why is he expecting to learn something about serial killers from a fictional movie?

  • Ebert is a monster

  • Rest in peace Siskel, but you were so wrong about this film.

  • Well I do think Siskel and Ebert has it right with the ending of Silence of the Lambs. For such a fascinating psychological thriller, they really reduced that effect by ending with your standard cat and mouse game in the dark. But I think Siskel really downplayed Anthony Hopkins' performance. He was so compelling as an evil genius that I think I would have broken down and cried if I ever met such a character in person.

  • good call gene

  • Comment removed

  • siskel is full of shit. this movie an oscar winner and all. sometimes i think that siskel doesn't know how to critique a movie fairly. Chicago Sun Times must be that hard up for a movie critic.

  • Absolutely horrible fucking movie.

  • @demotto44 k

  • This is one of those movies you either really love or really hate, not much middle ground with people. I personally can't stand this movie, I've seen bits and pieces of it through the years but it's never interested me enough to actually watch it from beginning to end in its entirety. The scenes I saw with Hopkins were superb, the rest of the cast is horrible though and I hate the subject matter of the film. I can't figure out how this movie won best picture.

  • @kpernod30 You're giving us something to use against you hear. I won't go into a debate wherever or not this movie was good or bad. I, for once, think it's a cinematographic master piece, and yet, I don't understand how you can judge a movie if you haven't watched every second of it!

  • @Geertos13

You're welcome to your opinion on this film, I didn't care for it myself which is why I've never been able to watch it from beginning to end.

  • has siskel ever been more wrong?

  • I just finished re-reading Red Dragon last night. Didn't anyone find it interesting that after Hannibal escaped, it's a miracle that he didn't go after Will Graham? It just hit me the other day. Manhunter forever. 'Dream much, Will?'

  • Y'know, i actually kind of agree with Siskel.

I always thought that the performances were great and the direction was astounding, but the movie in general was overrated.

I mean there was a few times when the film crossed the boundary between realistic and utterly ridiculous. Lecter seemed almost as if he had super-natural powers at parts and there were so many things that were there only for the shocking factor or to disturb you.

It was a good movie, but I just don't understand all the praise.

  • Why does Siskel nearly haate every horror movie? I mean I know he likes Halloween and Henry but why does he haate others such as Child's Play, Nightmare on Elm Street and this? Does he have rocks in his head?

  • @spyrothedragon590 Not every critic is going to be right all of the time ;(

  • @magicatthemovieS yeah but still those films that I mentioned are classics. all well.

  • @spyrothedragon590 Silence of the Lambs is not a horror movie.

  • @spyrothedragon590 Yes, but not everyone can like every good movie.

  • siskel and his dumb political objections

  • Siskel just seriously.... IRKS me. He praised Se7en like no tomorrow, but he gives Silence of the Lambs, the godfather of all serial killer thrillers, trash talk?

Surely this film DOES say something about serial killers, specifically Buffalo Bill, a man who seeks to reinvent himself as a woman by living within their skin. And Hannibal Lecter, a man who seeks to bond with Clarice by digging deep into her darkest memories to feed off of them. And the direction by Jonathan Demme is superb. Siskel.

  • @degree7 Seven is better,so of course it's more appreciated by siskel.

  • @RDV333

    That's an entirely subjective statement.

  • Siskel really failed on this one.

  • Yes, we always do that, Roger. Lol. Miss ya, Gene. And Roger, get well soon, O wise one.

  • Absolutely Brilliant! One of my favorite films of all time!

  • I loved the movie because the focus wasn't just about serial killers, and we all know what they do. It wasn't just good & evil, it made me think who was really good or evil. This movie was brilliant in the sense that people have more than one side to them. Dr. Lecter despising rude people like Dr. Chilton, and Clarice Starling trying to clear her conscience through her work. Brilliant!

  • I never got Silence of the Lambs. I'm with SIskel here on this one. I always thought it was nothing more than a mediocre serial killer movie.

  • @KneeOfJustice2046 It's easy to think that if you're not really getting into the story, and while I absolutely love this film, I will admit that the film didn't really allow the viewers to get all of the symbolism that the book did for the readers. I recommend reading the original novel.

  • @KneeOfJustice2046

Um, were you there, watching and listening to Hannibal and Clarice while talking about the lambs?? Jesus Christ. That's some of the best psychology-driven scenes I think they've ever put on film. Especially awesome, due to the fact that it's all in Anthony and Jodie's performances. Then, this psychologist that we grow to trust, despite our better judgment, starts slaughtering cops, left and right. It's awesome and powerful stuff.

  • @LukeLovesRose Uhh... yes, I was there. I've seen the movie three times. And every time, I tried to like it. I honestly tried to like it. But I just don't like it. I think it's dull, melodramatic and I found the characters flat. I'm sure others will scream "sacrilege!" at me for this, but it's my own opinion after trying three times to like this movie.

  • @KneeOfJustice2046 I understand. I didn't hate the movie at all, I just probably expected too much after reading all the glowing reviews. To me, Red Dragon was my kind of scary. Manhunter takes repeated viewings to really get into, imho.

  • for once, im not behind Siskel at all

  • Anthony Hopkins did for Hannibal Lecter what Heath Ledger did for The Joker.

  • This was a really intense movie.

  • Ebert was on the mark, Siskel missed the mark bigtime. Bet he ate crow later on that one.

  • I love Siskel and Ebert but WTF this is definatly in my top 20 films I could always find something interesting and rewatch value.

  • I agree with Siskel. I didn't find the film realistic. Brian Cox was more believable as Lecter.

  • I like these 2 and respect there view points but he is wrong this was a brilliant movie

  • @MrTyboy0735 He is not wrong he has his own opinion! OPINION!!!

  • @hajlender12 well i think he is wrong thank u ill wirte that down DOWN its my opinion and others people said the same thing comment on those THOSE LMFAO

  • @MrTyboy0735 siskel was a bastard. He claims he knows all about film he just wants something to bitch about. Ebert hit it right on the head, usually does.

  • @MrTyboy0735 it was... just okay. they overplay the dialogue and simply don't do enough honest disturbing imagery to get the point across, and the over the top dramatic moments just come off as silly. a much better psychological thriller/crime drama/exploitation horror would have to be a clockwork orange.

  • @MrTyboy0735 how was this brilliant at all? what possible element of the movie was brilliant? just showing a nut being his sadist nutty self then being taken down?

  • @dante224real1 well a few things y comment on my status its called acting and u have an point of view and so do i it was a great movie the acting the story and the plot to each there own plese people move on

  • burrowsshreds, I seriously have doubts that Gene saw The Terminator himself. In that fabrication of a review, Siskel says that the Terminator came from another planet.

It's like attacking a typical Van Damme film, judging it solely by films like Cyborg, without actually seeing the film in question. It's kind of a pathetic descrimination if you ask me.

  • @LukeLovesRose Well, I guess we'll never know.

  • Siskel must have been stunned when this won the oscar 1 year later.

  • @Starkardur FIVE Oscars

  • burrowssheds, don't make me laugh. Read Ebert's review for Terminator Salvation. Read it on his website. The man clearly admits that he never actually watched The Terminator. Their "REVIEW" was all a fucking fabrication. It's easier to manipulate people with different medias than you obviously understand. And, what sucks is that we can't sue assholes like this for LYING.

  • @LukeLovesRose I never read his review for Terminator Salvation, having not seen it. Just read it now, so fine.

I'm sure Siskel saw it, but there's no review site for him.

I realize it's easy to manipulate people, and I've looked for Ebert's print review but never found it. Thank you for that knowledge, as my respect for Ebert has now gone down.

As for the suing part, blame the government.

  • Looking back, it is obvious that both Siskel & Ebert were lousy movie critics. Both of them had massive egos. They always found it necessary to show how "smart" they are and overanalyzed every movie. In general, Siskel wanted every movie to be a rags to riches saga without any violence or sex. Ebert wanted every movie to be like a snooty drama with actors whose names look good on posters.

  • These two could be total fucking idiots. They trash The Terminator, without ever actually seeing the film. They trash this masterpiece, and they didn't even seem to understand the film itself. Luckily, both Silence of the Lambs and The Terminator have become bigger movie legends than the favorite films of Siskel & Ebert.

  • @LukeLovesRose They did actually review the Terminator. The review's not on Youtube though, it's on a separate website.

If you actually paid attention, Ebert gave it a thumbs up (now in his Great Movies selection) while Siskel didn't. It is a masterpiece and so is the Terminator. But I honestly doubt that they've become bigger legends than Citizen Kane and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  • This is one of the reason why I mostly see this guy as to be full of shit.

  • I've got a question. How come Siskel is paid as a film critic when he knows nothing about film and is dumber than a sack of hammers.

  • The Silence of the Lambs is one of the greatest films ever made! I like Siskel, but I hated him in this review. I wish Ebert would have pwned him!

  • this is an awful review.... they summarize like everything

  • I am a filmaker and I declare Ebert's opinions to be third rate

  • @BradleyKeiferRoss So are Uwe Boll and Michael Bay. So that doesn't really say a whole lot about you, despite making you sound like a jerk.

  • @Brehserman Then I sound like you? Post your own opinions if you have any instead of trolling mine.

  • @Brehserman Germany (your country) hasn't produced a good movie in about 75 years

  • Holy shit ,Siskel got this wrong big time, one of the best movie of all time.Hannibal is the greatest movie character ever.

  • Wow - Siskel was really an fuckin idoot..Critic

  • This film wasn't supposed to be a real life portrait of serial killers. Gene seemed unable to assess the film for what it was: a thriller paced by the dynamic between Lecter and the green FBI agent. Sure, the ending suspense sequence was slightly prolonged, but it was nothing to bitch about.

  • OMG, this lump of turd Ebert...is this THING still around?

  • Anyone who needs direction from this failed blob Ebert is beyond help. A cheap huckster who was once an alcoholic now he can't drink or eat or talk. He once tried to write movies but couldn't make it so he only trashes others work. We can see fatso Ebert , we can imagine those who want to suck his rotten dick!

  • Certainly time has proven the strength of Anthony Hopkin's performance.

And as for Jodie Foster's sexuality, it's none of our business.

  • @squamish4244 No. Jodie Foster being able to be honest about being a lesbian is everyone's business.

  • Anyone looking for advice on which movie to see from these ugly tasteless and out of style creeps are about as unhip and gutter as quedasobravo.

  • Siskle once again a mile off the mark- time has proven this guy an idiot! Comical... Ebert is far better but also gets it wrong time and again... like looking back at the reviews I have to say...

  • Certainly the most controversial Best Picture winner ever.

  • I'm ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille!- Roger Ebert

  • @RottenJaws I love your humor. it's true, Ebert is a lump of shit

  • Awww...girls, you're both pretty.

  • Always agreed with Ebert more then Gene. Sometimes Gene just didn't get it.

  • Each is to his own.

  • Siskel didn't like it while many disagree. As far as fatso, I never care what she thinks

  • Ebert looked more like an elephant than a lamb but now looks like animals after they been to the slaughterhouse

  • @Jorrietheman I agree! but I bet even animals after they have been to the slaughterhouse look better than Ebert (but not his fans) and have better movie advice!

  • @Jorrietheman what is it with these incredibly mean spirited insults directed at Roger!

  • I didn't think there was anyone who didn't like Silence of the Lambs. o,o In all seriousness, this is a great movie...it's genuinely eerie and gruesome almost to a fault. The only thing I agree with that Siskel says is that Hannibal the Cannibal is kind of a dumb generic name.

  • I need to find footage of Siskel talking about how he felt when Silence of the Lambs was such a smash at the oscars

  • @farneyblakeley Siskel actually said that this would win at the Oscars before his Review. I have enjoyed watching Lambs but i found it a little unbelievable at times, the ending was unbalanced and rushed i thought. Did it deserve the Oscars? probably not but i guess there are a lot of films that win but don't really deserve it dances with wolves for instance that should of went to Scorsese/Goodfellas.

  • @Dottiecurran Damn! How long are you and your other profiles going to troll? This is ridiculous!!!!

    GET A LIFE!!!!

  • @dbzhafan That's rich coming from you. You contacted me. Go back to your cartoons. You have written that you aspire to a job someday making little kids shows and you are what, 24? What a life!

  • @Dottiecurran not all animated series are kid shows have you seen .ghost in the shell, aeon flux, cowboy bepbop and thats to name a few. you need to know what your talking about before you complain about what people do like my pipecleaners you have no idea how tedious of a process that is .dont act like you understand

  • why do all these cut off in mid-sentence?

  • @Jorrietheman I like the movie but kept hoping Jodie Foster would come out of the closet in real life. As far as Ebert, he is just gross and something to dismiss. And I agree that adults who watch cartoons are retarded.

  • Well, it's interesting to see what critics say at the moment for a film that has really stood the test of time. Siskel fails, Ebert wins.

  • @ufotofu9 Ebert wins? Have you seen him/her/it? Who cares what a failed sleaze writer says about movie producers he is jealous of? Who needs the opinion of someone so nerdy?

  • @ZarahLean fuck you.

  • @ShxtBlowsUp Sorry, I only go for men. My god, Ebert is so ugly and tasteless...a walking horror movie now deformed.

  • "Henry, Portrait of a Silly-er Killer"

  • I really enjoyed this film. It was very well made, acted, dircted and the source matrial is pretty awesome too. Though I have to be honest, the film would not have been nearly half as good if it weren't for Anthony Hopkins. He was fantastic in this. Got me really scared too.

Still, I thought that it was wonderful, ad it still remains one of my favorite book and films. :) P.S. For all the people fighting on the comments, please for the sake of the internet stop. Thnak you. :) K.

  • was siskel on some kind of crusade against horror pictures? i can't recall many that he liked, Henry and Halloween 3 (for having the wherithol to be unique i guess) nevertheless he hates everything involving the least of the horror cliches.

  • @JJJ10JJJ Silence of the Lambs is hardly a horror movie.

  • god what wrong with ebert, it isn't even human

  • Regardless of any merits of the movie, Ebert's advice is ...as always...worthless.

  • Ignore the cartoon idiot "dbzafan" or whatever this "aspiring animator" calls itself. It lives in a fantasy world and is a loser.

  • @TheBitchinbabs Hey bitchin' babble, you and your other accounts need to get lives and leave me alone already.

Have fun trollin' an old man with cancer. Your mom would be proud of you.

Considering you have a mom... By the way you're acting, she didn't teach you the ways of life very well.

So once, again LEAVE ME ALONE. I said what I needed to say to you no-life trolls.

  • @dbzhafan You and your other fantasy accounts contacted me first elsewhere. No one wants you, period. An idiot who hopes to make the little kids shows he watches. No job, no life. We are all laughing at you. Maybe you can still suck off Ebert before his dick falls off

  • @TheBitchinbabs you are so retarded do you know that animation can APPEAL to adults and children, im not suprised an idiot of your propulsion you are a repetitive troll who only made a channel to troll, a truely sad pathetic being (and i say being cause no human is that dumb)who is too much of sad person you aren't even open to criticism on your channel, as you do to others cause you know no one likes you my subs are real your subs are you potraying someone else.try not to talk about my age.

  • @rockyrack3 oh for sure goodfellas is a strong contender for best movie ever dances with wolves is just a lawrence of arabia rip off in fact look at the last fe years 2010 - king's speach over the social netowkr/inception/the fighter 2009 - hurt locker over inglorious basterds 2008 - SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE OVER THE DARK KNIGHT WTF

  • @rockyrack3 i think that the only time the wrong movies win an oscar is when they go with the safe one or at least avoid the controversial pick, for instance 2010 sucked because the king's speech wasn't the best the social network and inception and the fighter were better they just went with the feel good one. But 1991 was a good one because even though terminator 2 was better in my eyes then this movie they don't go with a safe pick to avoid controvery

  • in real life serial killers to get cheap nicknames

  • This is just bullshit... siskel or whatever...and roger ebert's not supporting him, that's good...but if that'd be me, i would just say 'what the fuck, that's bullshit, this might not be you're kind of movie...but don't say it's not ours, WE LOVE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and more than that WE LOVE HANNIBAL THE CANNIBAL LECTER, so you should have shut you're flithy rattletrap in this one!

  • But it's Demme's style to do these big ham-fisted Hollywood production. He did the same thing with Philadelphia.

  • Lamb couldn't be like Henry because Henry was almost Cinema Verité, it was very raw with no embelishement. While gruesome, Lamb was the traditional Hollywood epic thriller. Just look at the music, it's very operatic, like a classic monster movie. In my opinion the whole movie come off like a tv movie with better actors.

  • Wow, Siskel was way off with this one.

  • i rerly dont like this guy his so harsh to good movies like this

  • Jodie Foster played a better FBI Agent than Gillian Anderson(Dana Scully), but they're both gorgeous.

Gene Siskel has a point. The only good parts were the Foster/Hopkins scenes. The rest was trash, it's an overrated movie. Lector was only on screen for 10 minutes.

  • @rockyrack3 The Hurt Locker was one of those wrong movies

  • @PyrofreakStudios Agreed, Screw The Hurt Locker!

  • Get lost ¨d be a freak¨!

I don´t come here to call other posters names and garbage. You are the troll and trash.I come here to comment on Ebert, who is an ugly cancerous blob who makes a living trashing others. ¿Wonder what they do with his rotten body parts?

  • Deal with the critic getting our critique. Too damn bad.

  • @TheBitchinbabs Whatever LOSER. I've said my piece to you and to ALL your youtube accounts.

And you stay up all night trolling all of Ebert's vids and making fun of a man with cancer. Your mom would be proud.

And yet what you do is somehow worse than liking what's eventually going to be my job. But oh well... What can I do.... Have fun troll...

  • @dbzhafan Honey, just to set the record straight: YOU HAVE NO JOB. All you have are childish cartoons and old shows and admiring a rotting old has been. While you imagine your fanasty world is real. take those meds, you started responses to me.

  • Girl and Guys: I don't even read the farts from this loser freak dbzha-whatever anymore, he has nothing but staying up every night alone with cartoon frolics and trolling old shows. Ignore him, I suggest.

    EBERT=UGLY

    FANS=LOSERS

  • I kind of agree with both of them. It's a really well-made film but it is after all a pretty trashy story. I can understand why Siskel would bemoan this kind of exploitative story being done by top Hollywood people. It's a matter of whether you think a movie's merit resides only in how well it is made, or if you think it matters whether the subject matter warranted it being made.

  • Here is the mentally retarded dbzhafan aka whatever, taking a break from his usually pedophile activities concerning silly catoons for 5 year olds to trash other posters again. Offers nothing on the topic, as usually. Just calls everyone else the things he so clearly is: a loser who is unwanted in life and on here. Dbza freak, you have told told everywhere to get a job, a life and masturbation pin ups other than ugly deformed Ebert.

  • @Dottiecurran I love how you claim I trashing these Ebert haters...

So what have I said in my post that's NOT true? huh? About you and your other accounts?

What do you hope to gain by this? I don't get you or other haters AT ALL!!

Do you get a thrill at making fun of people that have cancer? Look at yourself!!!

The ONLY reason I respond to these things is becuz I'm in shock that anyone could be so vile, and spend thier time so uselessly as you. Ebert's done NOTHING to you personally.

  • @Dottiecurran

And FYI... They're called CRITICS. This is a professional movie critic that critiques films based on his/her perspective of what a good movie entails.

Don't like their opinion? Here's how you solve the problem...

DON'T LISTEN OR PAY ANY MIND Hello!!!! Take it for what it is, YOU decide how much bearing this OPINION has on your movie watching experience.

Now stop making fun of someone who's MORE a success and has MORE fame than you or any of your other accounts will ever have!

  • Well, I guess Ebert now knows about silence.

  • Here we go again with dbzafagn and his kiddie cartoon personalities telling someone to get a life. LOL! Guy, you are a joke and troll old show sites every night to insult other you tubers. Post your own opinion if you can think of one. I have no use for your idol fatso or your stupid failed quest for a job in kiddie shows. You must seek masturbation matter looking at ugly Ebert. Sounds gross, but we can imagine what you look like.

  • @daveybaby131 hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

What a complete trolll!!!!! hahaha!!!! You're hopeless. LOSER

Hi BitchNbabble (NICE name by the way). I like how you thumbs up your own comments with your other youtube accounts. How many accounts did you open anyway? haha!

There's NOTHING you can say that's bad about me, except that I stand up against evil people that LOWER themeselves to a critic that they deem to be a horrible human being.

Cartoons? Kiddie?!! Seriously? That's all you got Troll? haha!

  • The movie was good. The critic is not. Real men do not watch cartoons.

  • @MIleystillawesome Real men don't put others down to make up for their own inadequacies. But you're not a real man are you BitchNbabble?

Let me ask you. WHY do you hate Roger so much? What has he done that affects your life?

  • EBERT=UGLY FREAK OF NATURE

    FANS=LOSERS IN ANOTHER CENTURY

  • @TheBitchinbabs Hey BitchNbabble,

WHY do you hate Roger so much? Did he do something that effects your life? Did he rape your friend, murder your mother, etc?

What makes him worthy of all this hate?

  • @dbzhafan or whatever name: No one wants you in life or here. You come on here not to offer anything on the critic or the movie but to trash others. You are the loser you call Babs, watching childish pedo cartoons and without a career in adulthood. You NEVER will be an "animator". Go to hell. No one starts with you, you start with others for attention, troll. The topic is ugly Ebert. Look at him. A pompous creep telling you which movie to see. Trashes others work, ugly, so right for you.

  • EBERT=UGLY REAK OF NATURE

    FANS=LOSERS IN ANOTHER CENTURY

  • I just looked on "The Telepahic Kids" page. Just as I expected, stupid cartoons!

  • @dbzhafan Take you own advice. A cartoon watching nerd who ASPIRES to a career making cartoons! You troll old movie sites to insult real adults as you spend your lonely nights and have been laughed off many. Face it YOU WILL NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING. Now go back to your looney tunes with your many false cartoon YOU TUBE accounts

  • ebert=ugly

    fans=nerds from another century

  • @TheBitchinbabs Wow!!!

    YOU= TROLL

You're other accounts= You need to get a life LOSER! Seriously!!

I mean EVERY Ebert vid? EVERY day?

WHO does that but some TROLL? Tell me!

  • jesus christ get the hell over it. Getting all riled up because someone doesn't share your view? How the fuck do any of you horrible people have friends.

  • @TheTelepathicKid this is only to the people who have actually lashed out on the reviewers.

  • oh my god is ebert UGLY

  • I respect siskel and everyone else's opinion, but I don't like the way siskel craps all over this film, denying to admit anything that is well done in this movie.

  • Sometimes I disagree with him, but I partially agree with Gene Siskel on this one. The movie wasn't as great as it was built up to be.

    3.5 stars

  • i just watch this film .. for me it was no doubt that it was a big oscar winner .. its freaking scary specially the notion that hannibal lecter is a psychological type of a \serial killer .. wow that was genius .. two thumbs up ..

  • I agree with Gene

  • Honey, if I had to awaken to Ebert, I'd take sleeping pills

  • An Oscar winning performance by Hopkins in a average movie.
