  • A real classic beautifully sung. Still love it all these years later.

  • Obviously this is an artificial percusiion SAW mix, but I think it's charming in another way and true to the original. I also love Sybil's kind voice!

We should say this to our partners & if they get it - the they are lovers, not skanks!

  • this song take me back too old times

  • Boring and repetitive and like most remakes (songs, movies) not as moving or soulful as the early 60's original (her first!) by the then slim and classy Miss Dionne Warwick-this sounds so studio manufactured and with too heavy a drumbeat-go listen to the original and you may cry when you hear and see Dionne whereas this makes me yawn.

  • @9284vr its new jack swing, get your panties out of a bunch.

  • I love this song. The 80's had some great music. This is just one of those songs that will never get old I love hearing this on the old school station. I'm not sure exactly when the song came out but I think I heard this for the first time in 1990 I was 7 years old then.

  • music ment something then!

  • love this too much!

  • I wished I kept that issue of Billboard from July '89 that reviewed this song: "(a funky treatment of Dionne Warwick's 60s chestnut) ...with smash written all over it. Top 40 and even A/C are in the cards" Alas, this didn't even make the A/C chart.

Great funky jam that always reminds me of Soul II Soul's brand of hip-hop in the late 80s.
