  • @ZMagic97 thanks alot. I just got enough money to buy the bike I'm using as a beginner (1980 Honda cb125) with about 2.5k miles on it but my parents won't let me. Do you think I can go from a 125 (not a scooter, it's a six speed) to a 650 or 600 or do I need to get a 250. That would just double my horse. The cb125 gets 100mpg while ninja 250r gets 50-70 so I'd get almost double the gas mileage with the 125 and I don't really like 250's you always have to have them revved high and it's looks are

  • @rynoride ?

  • Dang it, I put about 20K on my bike this year and I havn't done any fluid replacements except for oil! I went thru a set of tires this year and one chain. Watching your video made me realize I need to do a full service on it lol thanks my friend!

  • @ZMagic97 Yeah maybe just a tune up!! like your other vid but for the DRZ!!

  • nice update

  • Where did you download the service manual? i need one for my grand prix. i have the chiltions but i doesn't cover a whole lot.

    Thanks

  • Which state test emissions on the motorcycles ? Even the enviro-nazis in California don't do that (yet?). Just wanna know so I never move there.

  • I have two maintenance related questions. How often do You change coolant? And do You lubricate clutch and throttle cables or just change them regularly? Thanks.

  • @prezessikora The coolant change in my opinion should be around 10,000 miles or every 18 months. From what I understand, bikes need it a lot more than cars. I would check service manuals though since that info is just my personal thoughts. As for the throttle cables, just cleaning and greasing is fine unless junk and rust gets in there then replace them. They never need any regular replacement, only do it if damaged.

  • @ZMagic97 lol i see, still sucks letting such amazing machines go but its justified

  • why dont you just remove the thermostate and ride without it you live in a hot city it wont be a problem

  • @warezvz I really did consider that for a while, but I ordered a thermostat with the CCT just because I do ride it in cold areas a fair amount of them time.

  • @ZMagic97 i did that with my car and bike specialy when im going riding on the track i always pull out the thermosate because the bike cools of during the race and it gives you a bit of a punch

ok in winter when its freezin i put a peace of plastic or linoleum infront of the cooler and it works fine.

but ok you already orderd one and they are like 30-40 bucks so they are not expansive .

Hope it works out fine, could you do a carb cleaning vid im interested in those carbs. i did a vid of my carb.

  • Hey ZMagic, I have the same bike and would definitely like to see some how to's. The CCT for sure and anythings else you have time for. Much appreciated, have a happy thxgiving man

  • @kobi8231 Thanks, you too! I'll totally make some videos.

  • and yes drz vid plz :)

  • hey man i am brad the guy u meet up at the helmet center i have to say awesome to meet u and maybe one day we can take a ride would be pretty awesome

  • @drz400supermotoPHX Yeah man we will have to do that!

  • Nice clean garage dude!...Don't forget to sync the Throttle bodies after you reinstall them.

  • @lampingromeo Thanks! I may not even touch them to be honest since they were pretty much dead on. I will check them again once they are back on of course.

  • Nice to see a little update from your side. The only thing i would like to see is you riding the DRZ...

  • @bakker46 I'll probably have it up and running soon. No promises though.

  • Garage is looking sweet. I love the arrangement you've got on all your servicing stuff, wish mine could be as good :P

If you're offering, It'd be really great to see a video of CCT install/check/adjustment. No problem if you don't want to, but if you're up for it.. :)

  • @extreme601 Haha thanks man!

I'll do the CCT video: it's a good one to do since not many people have done it.

  • Great update. Thanks.

  • @TruckingBiker1967 No problem!

  • I would definitely love some maintenance vids man. Thx for the update.

  • @fpscrash1992 Awesome, will do!

  • I'd love to see a video of you working on the DRZ!! :)

  • @DannyTheThomas Sure, anything specific?

  • I'd be interested in any maintenance vids you put out. I like to look at other peoples' methodologies and stuff for working on their cars/bikes, always leads to new insight, if you stick your own techniques forever, you don't open yourself to new methods which could be faster, safer, more efficient, etc. So any requests, I second them :-P.

One thing I'd like to see in more detailed vid on is chain tension. Yeah, it seems pretty retarded, I know, but I'm always worried I didn't do it right...

  • @MrSlowestD16 Sounds good! Chain tension as in the cam chain or final drive/rear wheel chain? I will have to clean and tighten my chain after putting the bike back together.

  • @ZMagic97 Well I was talking about the drive chain - but a how-to on cam-chain tensioning is also awesome :-P.

  • yes do it

  • whyd you sell the Duc' and the camarro?!? :(

  • @aric126 I was never using them. They just sat sat in the garage. Rather get some room back and sell them to people that will enjoy them as much as I did.

  • Please do make vids on the maintenance, if you could make an entire series on re-building the bike once you get the parts.

  • @riley191919 Well, it's not a total rebuild but I can do videos on everything I do.

  • you work so neat and tidy!! Im the same just makes things easy!

  • @spicy110 That is very true. I don't like working in an unorganized area.

  • So what's the deal with each of your vehicles? Finally selling a few? (You just always come to mind as that guy with a really full garage.)

  • @awesomerandomninja Yeah, I just don't have the room. I have a 2 car garage at my house and had my 2 Jeeps, the Camaro, Ducati, my F4i, and my girlfriends FZ6R all there. Besides that, I never drive the Camaro and I lost interest in the Ducati. I rather have fewer vehicles that I will use and more room in my garage.

  • I have had two Cherokees, great last forever,,,

  • @2008superduke I plan on keeping mine for a while unless it has any major issues.

  • yes do some maintenance vids they would help alot.

  • @fsxdave24 Will do!

  • Dude my Cherokee made it to 382,737 kms (237,821 miles) but only the tranny went so not a big deal. Engine was still going strong. crazy engineering for sure

  • @REC0IL89 Manual or auto? I had to do a clutch in mine when I got it.

  • @ZMagic97 Manual, only way to go haha. plus the lady I bought it off of was really bad at leaving lights so thats probably what killed the tranny. If you know how to drive you should be fine... lol

  • And now we play the waiting game -_- lol.

  • @BruceJBCpaintball Waiting for me to be back on the road?

  • @ZMagic97 Exactly aha.

  • D: u sold the ducati. Well cool thing your coming back. In a vlog can you talk about what kids can do if they want and is gonna get a motorcycle but their parents won't let them? Thanks

  • @zamuriaz hahaha

  • @zamuriaz I certainly can. That seems to be a popular topic.

  • Wait...did you say something about getting married? That's a clean garage.

  • @Itsreload Married?! Haha no, never said anything about that. If that ever happens it'll be many years in the future.

  • That is 1 clean garage!!!

  • @frontier1701 Thanks!

  • What kinda mtb you got

  • @borninusa98 mtb as in motorbike or mountain bike? If so, motorbike is a 2006 CBR 600 F4i, mountain bike is a Diamondback, not 100% sure of the model. I assume you mean mountain bike since I see your name is comments a lot :)

If that's not what you meant, let me know.

  • @ZMagic97 Ya i meant mountain bike I could see that it is a f4i from a mile away

  • very good update vid bro i would say do the vid on what you are doing to the bike it will probley help someboday later on

  • @kd4ysi That's why I do most of the maintenance videos: I like knowing it will help people later.

  • Your garage is heaven

  • @NobodyVlogs Haha thanks. I just wish it was 10 times bigger.

  • Do a vid on the Drz maintnance

  • @bestvidsdottk Anything specific you want to see?

  • Wow, was wondering where you went. Sad to see the ducati go! Can't wait to see another vlog though

  • @surefirefan Thanks!

  • Yeah, get that Suzuki going. Sell it, and get a KLR.

The emissions testing is for large metro areas only. Most of Arizona does not require it.

  • @cashstore1 Yeah, you don't have emissions for your area, correct? I'll be keeping the DRZ, I really like it for the power to weight ratio.

  • @ZMagic97 We don't have emission testing here. Probably only in the Tucson Phoenix metro area. I think you will have an advantage to all of KLR types on the dirt with the DRZ, as it's lighter. We have another vlogger in Phoenix from Detroit. Birdman1277 (Andy), moved here recently and was at the vlogger meeting with his new KLR. So we are at 4 with the KLR's, but we will accept a Suzuki to ride in our pack.

  • Thanks for the update, I was wondering!

  • @twistedkeys1 No problem!

  • is the Az weather hard on the bike or is that a none factor

  • @SwoopdySwoop Just the heat really. We do get in the close to freezing temperatures in the winter for a bit, but since we don't have snow in my area there's never any rust issues. However, the heat is hard on the batteries, hoses, and other rubber items on most cars here.

  • I own a 2000 Honda Firestorm/Super Hawk and I have ordered CCT's for it and just waiting on them to arrive and would love to see a video of you installing it on your bike. Mine take 2 of them by the way.

  • @WildBill1006 Wow, 2 CCTs? I didn't know that!

  • I have a jeep cherokee and I have almost 226,000 its 2wd a 1998

  • @halodude2895 Nice!

  • You have a bike = cool.... you work on your own bike and know you way around = double cool.... you work on your bike and your garage looks THAT clean??? = OCD freak!!! :D

  • @YarekBalear Haha I love my garage being clean. Makes working much easier.

  • I'm getting this same bike in the spring! so there is lots of interest in the maintenance from me.

  • @da9illest821 Awesome, I'll make some vids then.

  • Cool update vid hope you can get the bike back on the road soon. Had rynoride over my place yesterday helped him change out his rear tire. Your bike look a lot cleaner I still have black hands from his rear wheel.

  • @azwakko lol, so do I wakko!

  • @azwakko Yeah I plan on doing some maintenance videos but it should be back on the road real soon. My parts I needed came in yesterday so I'll start getting some work done today.

  • That garage is missing only one thing. Me visiting again xD

lmao that area 51 truck looks even better now. I wonder if Jimbo has nightmares about it xD

  • @woodenchairs You know, a 1000RR has plenty of room to park in there XD

  • Good to see another vid from you again, thanks for the update :) Super envious of your garage really wish I kept mine that organized and clean buttttttt I am lazy sometimes lol look forward to seeing the maintenance videos.

    Take care,

  • @DrummondWarrior Thanks! I'm just a bit of a near freak haha

  • Whaaaaa? Ducati's gone ???

  • @DesmosediciAlice btw my Expedition has 176.000 and still kickin'

  • @DesmosediciAlice Yeah, I wasn't getting anywhere with it and I needed more garage room. On a good note, the guy who got it was a huge enthusiast and had it back to running within 24 hours of the sale.

  • could you do more of your stand? looks cool lol

  • @madcat303 Like a review of my bike stand?

  • @ZMagic97 yes plz

  • @madcat303 I can do that!

  • My truck has 240,000 and still running.

  • @KidNormal What type of truck?

  • Comment removed

  • F-250 7.3 Powerstroke. :)

  • @KidNormal Best engine ever put in a truck IMO. Wish I had one!

  • @KidNormal Yeah I love it.

  • I am most jealous how you can do all your maintenance yourself :( Wish I could be as mechanically knowledgeable as you! Ride safe

  • @2WheelsOn It's not too hard to learn. Just gotta explore what ya know and add onto it.

  • @2WheelsOn To do your own maintenance you really just got to read sources, look at pictures, watch videos, LISTEN to people, and most importantly, dive in. Without 1st hand experience you'll only know it in theory, which isn't enough.

Too many things I was like "wtf, this makes no sense" when I read about it, then when I personally experienced changing it or whatever with my own 2 hands I'm like "oh, this is mad easy!"

  • if its the straight 6, it WILL run forever lol.....

  • @TorqueRider2000 its a straight 4. but still gunna last

  • @helipilot94 It's 4.0 6 cylinder.

  • @ZMagic97 yeah im sorry. i thought he was referring to the motorcycle.

  • @helipilot94 Ah, gotcha. That is correct.

  • @TorqueRider2000 Haha it's the straight 6. Still running with no problems :)
