He attended a Wisconsin summer football camp where he was asked to try some plays at defensive end. He showed so well he was offered a scholarship the same day.

He redshirted in 2007 and did very well in 2008 spring practice and should see the field as a redshirt frosh in 2008. Probably as a rush DE in passing situations.
