  • aw, how old? :)

  • leave their tails alone, they are fine as they are. i have always had and worked jack russells and long tails are never a problem.

  • Working dogs with undocked tails are more likely to suffer injury as they run through thick undergrowth. There is no scientific evidence to support this claim and in fact studies have concluded that working dogs with undocked tails are not any more likely to sustain injury than dogs with docked tails.

  • i love how it just jumped when it barked

  • girl: Puppy~

    dog: D< BARK!

    me: oooooo she told you!

  • ok ive seen questionable likes vs dislikes videos.. but how on earth can you dislike this??? puppy dog cuteness thing!!

  • cute but just barked that's funny?

  • one bark still cute but need more barks

  • so cute :) love it

  • I have 3... one was born without a tail and the others were born with short tails.

  • strange my pups don't bark by that age.

  • This is the best video. Ever.

  • lol

  • thats no funny

  • I remember when my first Jack Russell was just a tiny little pup, and the first time she barked. I think she scared herself silly. What a great dog she was. I still miss her everyday.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, quite as unbearably cute as a Jack Russell puppy.

  • @Deathwysh completely agreed. I miss mine too =(

  • awwwwwwww i have a boy jack russell but cant find him a mate to get puppies :(

  • ok i dont think this is hilarious... cute maybe but not at all funny

  • not funny

  • That was so cruel. Poor puppy.

  • My 6 month old Jack Russell got her tail docked, she seems ok. I've heard that the should get their tails docked, because they are hyper and might hurt their tails. It seems like a logical reason why they have their tails docked.

Mine would have hers injured already if it wasn't docked.

  • Actually They used to have them docked for one reason. Jack russels are Ratters. Farmers owned them for them to catch rabbits and ratts. so when going down dirt tunnles they had there tails docked so they wouldnt get it trapped. To be honest unless you plan on having you dog out ratting your not ment to have them docked any more. So I heard any way apparently theres a law against it.

  • @shaddowvamp i do not believe there is a law cause when i got my jack russel pup his tale was already docked

  • @marexbears well like i said 'apparently' and i i=have been told this since i was younger. and thats the reason why they docked their tails. other wise its not really needed AND theres people that do it illigally (spelt wrong i know) My jackrussel had hers docked as well but she did live on a farm and used to just be aloud to roam around in woods and come home when she wanted so that was reason why they had hers docked. and this was like.. 15 years ago.. so yeah..

  • @shaddowvamp pluss I am from the UK.. as I am aware other places do have diffrent laws.

  • @shaddowvamp in some countries it is illegal yes but not in the US.

  • @shaddowvamp my jack russel's tail is docked

  • @shaddowvamp well theres not

  • @shaddowvamp Their isn't a law, most Jack Russels should have their tails docked as puppies, if not odds are they will cause themselves spinal damage, because they are aggressive tail waggers.

  • tails are still docked nowadays in non-sporting dogs because it is in the breed standard, nothing more.

  • Aw :D such a cute puppy! My Jack is the same color. He has a docked tail and is perfectly fine with it. I don't think docking the tail is cruel at all. Many dogs have docked tails.

On the other hand - if you cut it too short than that's a problem but otherwise, whatever. Anyway; cuteeee puppy. xD

  • There is no reason to cut of there beautiful tail.

most jack's i've seen have a docked tail.

And it's cruel, same like cutting of a piece of a cat's ear, it is not needed, just people think they look better that way or something.

My jack has a beautifull tail!

And who thumbs people down, who says they didnt dock there jack's tail?

What if the jack gets stuck in a hole, and you need to pull it out?

You wished he/she had it's tail!

  • aww, i have a jack russel and he was an adorable puppy.

um when you say docked do you mean when they clip the tail?

my parents got my dog's tail clipped, i think its cruel.

  • yeah its almost as cruel as cutting a babies umbilical cord

  • cute. You should check out my videos. Our mini foxy when he was younger was so cute when he barked.

  • haha i remember my dogs first bark

  • Hehe

    xD

  • We have an 8 year old male (Larry) with a docked tail but he he hates it and will bite it til it bleeds, everytime he gets exited he goes into a fit chasing his tail, we even had it redone to remove three digits in hopes it would help, no change. Anyone have any thoughts? Other than that he's a barrel of monkeys, my best buddy.

  • even though i am not from UK, I told my parents not to dock the tail as i think it was too cruel... but now the jack russel puppies are still so adorable!!

  • How come you never had the TAILS DOCKED

  • If the owner is from the UK then docking is illegal. My Jack Russell has a full grown tail, they look better with them and are far more sturdy with them as a counterweight.

A Jack with a tail will always outrun a Jack without one.

  • Well ive never heard that one before about big tail out running a docked tail, and it isn't illegal if there working TERRIERS

  • a full tailed jack russell will out run a docked, because it helps with balancing weight. it's the same with big cats :)

  • I djdn't got my jack russell's tail docked either

  • It is the best way Michelle, they evolved the tails for a reason, it gives them exceptional balance and hightens their ability to communicate at longer distances.... plus canines look much better with tails lol XD

  • i agree lol

  • @ProjectVRD

Lol, they didnt evolve. The only reason why there's so many breeds of dogs is because people would mate 2 different breeds with traits that they wanted and see what they got.

In my opinion, they looks better with their tail cut. I have 2 JRT's. One with it cut and one with it long.

  • lol hyper... i meant canines evolved tails. From the lupus lupos line of evolution :)

Canines had the tails for communication and balance, hence why dogs have tails even today.

  • Ha!! He thinks he's tough!

  • how do those dogs eat people?! they're so small and cute!

  • They Grow big an evil :)

  • a jack russel?? lawl...

  • o shit yeh its a pit bull i was thinking of :P

  • lol xD

  • ooooooooh ^.^

  • a guy named spidersonic said his dog barks at ants

  • CUTE!!!!!!!!!

  • NO - lots of SHIT!!

Toilet training the little f**kers is a nightmare.

  • How old is he?

  • the hound of hell.

  • Those dogs eat people!!!

  • so high-pitched!! aww.. he looks lik my JRT when my JRT was just a pup

  • he looks 99.99999% the same as my dog lol

  • Adorable

  • guess that was a sneeze

  • he sonded wered and funny

  • omg so cute!

  • That was a awful big bark for such a tiny fella lol.
