  • Hearing this brings back happy childhood memories. :)

  • I loved the c64

  • Thank you, El DeBarge, but Michael Jackson is in another castle!

  • gotta love the sid chip still sounds amazing even now!

  • An 8-bit El DeBarge tune! SWEET!!!!

  • Man, sweet bass line!

  • One level lighter than the hungarian Delta's theme.

  • Just one of C64 Musician Martin Galway's excellent covers. He was the master at recreating accurate versions of songs on the 64. Took real skill to do on the old 6581 SID chip.

  • the c64 version of debarge's who's johnny. nice.

  • excellent

  • i love this!!!

  • C64 rocks! Brings back so many childhood memories :-)

  • wow!

  • Who's Johnny ?

  • Reminds me of the Weird Al song "Here's Johnny" (yes I know for good reason)

But honestly pretty good for a C64 rendition. I like when they can put actual songs from the movies in the games based on said movies. Doesn't seem to be done as often anymore.

  • never could do the first part of this game. I had to use a cheat to reach the second outdoor section.

  • O.O !!!!!<3

  • FREAKING AWESOME! You're the man! This is so cool! I'm a big fan of the Short Circuit movies!

  • I use to have a commadore 64 myself I loved it wish in a sence I still had it...but I never did play this game on it I played other games like space taxi and what not...lol I love this!!! thanks for putting it up here on youtube!! =3

  • who IS joh nny

  • even though i have 4 computers, laptop and some servers.

i still have my commodore 64 its so cool even today ! :)

the lively music etc, always fun

  • I'm quite surprised that the song is actually the one from the movie... very cool.

  • lol ive played this game really hard at some times

  • I'm just waiting for Number "Johnny" 5 to start treadmilling across the screen like Wall-E did in his title/credit screen moment.

The original Number Five cannot be beat. Think of him as Wall-E's older brother.

  • @Tarzbloke more like his dad

  • @MEGAMAYUN And who's the mom? I guess the coffee robot Johnny 5 was chasing after in the beginning of Short Circuit 1.

  • @Tarzbloke More like the young cousin of R.O.B. the Nintendo Robot.

  • @Tarzbloke He's Wall-E's Father!

  • @Tarzbloke He's Wall-E's Father!

  • Thanks for posting this. :)

  • Sweet tune. Martin Galway rulz :D

  • El DeBarge - Who's Johnny

    Solid gold.

  • sounds awsome to me a synth loving geek.

  • now realy. i can not find the original song. and i want to say the name of the song is "hey johnny! whats your name again!" and if it isnt then i know another song by that name i think is awsome. except the problem is a screamo band called evil wears prada screams a song by that name too.

althou maby this commodore synth tunes surpasses the original.

  • never mind answered my own question. it wasnt "hey there johnny" its "who is johnny" strange by the fact i was makeing the rest of the lyrics and they were wrong but they fit.

  • No, this rules. If you've played Commodore 64, and know the theme song this is replicating, it's pretty impressive. It's hilarious too, I admit. But still decent for what it is.

  • Sometimes I just don't know about this world.

  • So is your ability to type. At least the song has a good beat. What have you accomplished?

  • what do you expect joeyg50? this game was made in 1986

  • dont forget its a c64. Its quite old. for its time the sound was very good.
