  • FSX freeware, ,who the fuck cares! get a job and buy real payware aircraft fro fsx!

  • @jimabbey1964 Yeah, what if I tell you that making this and other freeware got me some job offers for professional 3d modeling? Please think before you talk... Or write, in this case...

  • @youdontknowxpand You mean TYPE in this case DUMB ASS!

  • @jimabbey1964 yeah, pick on the language issues, that's really what a reasonable person does... (in portuguese write and type are the same word, but you wouldn't know that, would you?) In addition to the other comment: Well, I made this and other planes, plus a whole arcade game and a full size, functional electric car. What do you have to show for yourself? I don't buy payware not because I don't have the money, but because I don't need them....

  • @youdontknowxpand I use FS for the simulator abilities, not to show that I have the most realistic looking scenery or plane. I just want a software to simulate my designs.

  • not enough headroom, hanging wings: difficult to land in crosswind, cool appeareance :.-)

  • @tinolino58 Last one matters most! xD But yeah, it had a lot of problems. I learned a lot from this plane, actually!

  • Xpand, I'm in a love/hate relationship with your designs. I love 'em because they're so awesome, and I hate them because you make it look so damn easy!

  • @BlackhoundOne Thanks! Lol, it gets easier with time, but it takes longer to finish them! xD

  • Nice animation. Does it have leather seats and a Bose Sound System? If not, fuggedaboudit

  • @peejay1954 Lol, it's not quite an animation. This is it's actual flying in a simulator. I son't have leather seats but I do have sheepskin seats! ;D

  • this concept is good as DRONE...not as a plane

  • @Ruby1994ful why so? a drone is a small plane...

  • nice concept

  • @unit666industries Thank you!

  • OKAY Folks, The implications here are astounding, IMAGINE a Nation Like the U.S. OR JAPAN building a Full Scale version of this and THEN Placing a HONDA ROBOT in it instead of a Human and u can see where that could go RIGHT ?

  • @mesquiteguy121 Uhhh.... That would be awesome! At least regarding the plane! :D

  • @youdontknowxpand o More manned fighter missions, HOWEVER, Consider the Movie STEALTH, and the problem with that system. At any rate, IF that step were to be made by EITHER of the above mentioned nations, WOULD or COULD we be on the verge of the realization of TERMINATOR ? OR ROBOTECH !!! Just a thought

  • @mesquiteguy121 Machines can't kill humans unless programmed to do so. And even machines that work in battle fields during the war are controled by humans in a bunker. There will not be an inteligent machine with access to weapons. If you take a bit of time to understand how robots are programmed you'll see what I mean. You literally have to tell them everything. So no Terminator nor Robotech will be true unless someone programs the machine to kill humans.

  • @youdontknowxpand And with that I mean that machines can be overridden. Just "inject" a virus on the machine's software and puff, no more evil robot. You can't believe what you see in hollywood...

  • @youdontknowxpand Dont misunderstand me, I'm NO Conspirosy theorist. But I BELIEVE The future is wide open to what could and MIGHT happen as far as Robots and mlitary applications are concerned. I'm just suprised that IF things like the Aurora project and the Black Triangle DO exsist, Then why havent they been applied in places like Afghanistan or Iraq. Either way its all wild speculation and conjecture. And I'm just throwing idea and concepts out there just to see what response I get.

  • @mesquiteguy121 Ah, so that's what all this is about! Lol, this Aurora is not the secret project of the USAF. This is my own plane made for testing tailless flight. The Aurora name just came as sudden inspiration, little did I know 3 years ago that it would cause so much commotion... :|

  • @youdontknowxpand Funny You JUST HAPPEN to Pick the Name of a CONTROVERSIAL SECRET BLACK PROJECT, That the Govt has been SUPOSSEDLY....NOT, working on for the past 20 ? Years !!! For all I KNOW your actually an M.I.B, MAYBE I should just STOP talking to you. For all I Know it maybe too late, LOL OKAYYY I'm just kidding. But yeah the AURORA, PROJECT, has been the subject of alot of wild talk and speculatin for years. Who knew.

  • @mesquiteguy121 LOL, yeah...

  • @mesquiteguy121 M.I.B.? Men In Black?

  • @youdontknowxpand And Thats just my point. IF and When a weapon system is PROGRAMMED to Kill and or destroy roboticlly it could and would change the way warfare is conducted. Its been known that the us military and our Govt is looking into relieving our troops of being in the middle of warfare by being replaced by Robots. The advances Japan is making in Robots and the Advances the US is making in jet technology COULD allow this to happen.

  • @mesquiteguy121 I'm sure they will implement countermeasures if anything goes wrong. Movies just make humans look like negligent dumbass creatures that can't predict a cause of their actions.

  • very small wing......means it is not maneuverable enough for a dogfight....this might be just like a tomahawk missile kinda way of flying.

  • @onilef65 Yes, but this isn't a fighter jet lol! It's like the X-29, that is, it's a X-plane.

  • I saw someone at the rc field make a brick fly; your plane looks more aerodynamic than a brick... lol don't listen to these people

  • @seetherage lol, thanks!

  • and to answer you I don't judge this plane because it looks like something or whathever . I said it cannot fly because 1 it hasen't enought space for aerodynamic positive lift 2 bcause you're 3d plan is not complete ... it's a complicate artwork :s

    but good job still

  • @llYannouWll1010 Ah, ok! That's what I wanted to know! Thanks! :D Well, the lack of vertical stabilizers is the purpose of this plane...

  • @llYannouWll1010 of course it could fly you idiot! would just need a lot of thrust

  • ... alright let's doin it short . Do the program that you use in the vid integrate an aérodynamic or even a mathematical set up ( software , matrice , whathever ... ) .

A plane with no (srry I'm french lol there's a word for that but you called it "vertical stabilizer") we say "dérives" cannot even match with old-gen aircrafts in maniability . And we can see directly that your plane is made to be seen , not to be in a real warfare .

  • @llYannouWll1010 The simulator uses a data file with the plane's aerodynamic specs (wing area, dihedral, sweep, incidence, tailplane area, engine power, weight distribution, etc) that I get from the model itself. It doesn't simulate surface/shape drag though.

  • yeah I totaly agree with you , but it will still not fly lol

  • @llYannouWll1010 Why not? Why couldn't it fly? Just because it looks unflyable doesn't mean it can't do that. ;)

  • @llYannouWll1010 Besides most modern fighters wouldn't even achieve level flight if it weren't for the on-board computers...

  • haha really cool aircraft , I mean Design cause this jet will never fly in real conditions believe me

  • @llYannouWll1010 Thanks! Yeah, it would probably never fly, but there are many weird aircraft that seemed that they would never fly and they flew...

  • Cool design but is it aerodynamic enough to fly? Cool name aswel!

  • @garythefeek Thanks! The plane doesn't create too much drag. I reckon it would fly. It would be really unstable, but it would fly...

  • @youdontknowxpand

    IMHO lack of aerodynamic lift

  • @aenfeain So you're saying the plane can't create lift? Well, a side cut of the fuselage would show you how the air on the curved top moves faster than on the flat bottom, creating lift, which is the basic principle of lift generation by a wing.

  • @youdontknowxpand

i did not write it cant fly;]

  • love the concept design on this bird. the name on its just fine the fact that others want to associate a name with other projects is their problem. as for all the comments about religion, bugger off!!, don't we all get enough of that when we walk through the airports or listen to the news where one muslim, jew , hindu, christian, religious fanatic is killing another because they believe in their faith slightly differently.

  • @1ordequis Thanks a lot! Gonna give a thumbs up to this! :)

  • Bad Ass Creation! Very nice!

  • @greed2112 Thanks a lot man! I'll probably remake it because my modeling skills didn't make justice to the concept drawings of this plane...

  • The Aurora is NOT an experimental airplane. "Aurora" was the code name of the B-2 competition funding assigned by Colonel Buz Carpenter at the Pentagon. The code name of the funding project was leaked to the press and somehow became the unoffical name of a completely NONEXISTENT hypersonic plane. It does NOT exist, people. Let's move on.

  • @ThatTastesHorrible What!? I'm talking about this plane, which is my own creation! I don't give a damn about if the US have a top secret hypersonic jet or not! I should never have named it Aurora... Damn...

  • the bible talks about aircraft that would look like insects in Revelations or the book of John

  • song is from Wipeout hd

  • @Cyan1902 true, though it's on pulse too.

  • It Looks Ugly,I think the most beautiful aircrafts till date are F-18C Hornets & Su-27 Flankers

  • @matuag15 I like the Su-27 too. The problem with this airplane is it's paintscheme. You should see it with the overal grey colors. It looks much much better. I was stupid to make a video with this color...

  • At a glance, roll well, then a roll and bank would put a lot of stress on the main wing. Expensive materials, crazy onboard computer, maybe it won't fly upside-down. Have you put a model in a wind tunnel? Looks like a lot of drag that could be resolved simply with a delta main wing and a sharper sweep to compensate the loss of roll. Traditionally the downsweep of a wing is used in large load aircraft ya? Maybe a reverse gull wing or a short span cranked arrow. Looks over complicated. Dunno.

  • @Lightflightpilot Well, this plane is more of a crazy experiment. Kinda like the A-12 or the X-29. I never tested is on a wind tunnel, though. And this flight in the simulator is unrealistic since I had no respect for the plane's G limits... On some I pulled over 12Gs...

  • can i ask what the bennifet of wings sloped downwards or is it just a design, i know swept back wing design improves speed but why angled down?

  • @goldenkro The main wing negative dihedral enables fast rolling speed and the downward angled tail works like a V-tail, only downwards.

  • @youdontknowxpand

Ah, nope, there are 2 reasons to use them:

1- to correct effed up roll rates/controls (like in the F-4 Phantom, where the only "clean" air was down low")

2 - to control /take advantage of the "free" lift during SS flight (the XB-70 and Concorde both had drooped wings for this

Otherwise, in subsonic, they are fixed drag with reduced lift, which is not efficient.

There's a reason none of the recent fighter designsactual planes use droooped wings. It don't work.

  • @shootingnerd Then why do they use it on the Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet? And, what about the Predator UAV?

  • @youdontknowxpand Oh, wait! This one doesn't have an inverted V tail... Sorry... That was another one... I haven't taken a look at this plane in a while and thought the tail was angled more than it is.

  • @youdontknowxpand kool thanks for the response

  • @youdontknowxpand V tail is called butterfly tail because its so pretty.....

  • No TR3B, except in my channel... that one flies! Otherwise, a toal fiction.

  • Does it not need Fuel tanks?

  • @moomoo1337 It has a fuel tank in the main fuselage with a capacity for 25 minutes of flight at max throttle. The engines have a very low fuel consumption. But this is one of my oldest planes. I have almost no knowledge of aeronautics back then... And even today, my experimental jets still cause controversy...

  • @youdontknowxpand - What are your opinions on the T3RB flyng triangle?

    Just a rumor?

  • @Ccrazyfella I actually never thought too deeply about that. So, I can't state anything. There's no point in having Top Secret projects since the cold war is no more. But on the other hand, we are talking about the USA. A superpower keen in keeping its secrets secret.

  • @youdontknowxpand About it being an extraterrestrial UFO. That's unlikely. They would have more advanced disguise technology.

  • Would never fly... to damn ugly

  • @viper8red Sure, why not...

  • parece un sea harrier siglo 21 sin deriva.muy lindo pero para un videogame.Esteticamente no dice mucho.

  • @mrmarclaro El avión tiene un propósito de testar vuelos sin deriva... No es hecho para ser esteticamente agradable. La pintura es horrible, pero yo era un novato...

  • Looks like something from ace combat...

  • @platinum243125 I guess... Maybe because Ace combat 3 has a big influence in my early sleek designs...

  • thats in saints row the third

  • i like M.I.S.T. - outerspace alot

  • thums up but only for the jungle muzic

  • what song is that... thanks

  • @PotholesInMyLawn Mist - Smart systems (I put the name in the discription)

  • @youdontknowxpand Thanks... I did not extend the show more... sorry about that... thanks for the reply

  • @youdontknowxpand oh yeah that song from WipEout HD :L

by the way do you have that game? o3o

  • @RDD756 If I have the game!? I'm crazy about the Wipeout series, I've been playing Wipeout since Wipeout 3, in 1999. :D

  • @youdontknowxpand coo whats your PSN? maybe we can play WipEout sometime :L

  • @RDD756 Xpand122, add as friend!

  • @youdontknowxpand okay i sent

  • @youdontknowxpand You play WipEout HD Fury too!? ADD MEEEEE

    Xx3P1CxY0SH1xX

(Smart Systems is like... My favourite song of all time!)

  • I'll pay you 20 bucks to make an Arkbird, from AC5. Give it a Lear 45 cockpit, or a 747 cockpit I don't care, just make a good flight model and some gear. I'll make some sketches and send them to you, we got a deal? I chose you because you seem to really know what you're doing, especially with fictional aircraft. :D

  • @PSNgregiskool Ahah, already done! Check my channel and open the White Bird video...

  • @youdontknowxpand I saw it, I have it. I'm talking full on payware extremely detailed and effects, such as gear and other stuff. If you haven't figured it out, I am probably the biggest Ace Combat fan ever.

  • @PSNgregiskool Well, that's a hard thing you're asking because there is no information whatsoever about the akbird's systems. Also FSX has limits so most things aren't possible to make... (realistic lasers and other sfx)

  • @youdontknowxpand Even the AC5 Arkbird model itself had slightly less details than the one that I did...

  • @youdontknowxpand Well, I'm just talking about some higher quality textures, and maybe some better flight dynamics, Lazers are unnecessary. Just make some high quality textures for your old version, I'm talking HIGH quality. Then we'll talk. take it in waves.

  • @PSNgregiskool Well, when I have the time, I'll redesign the new one...

  • H9ow do you build it? I want to do this, but how do you do it? what programs do I need?

  • @PSNgregiskool gmax, photoshop and FSX + FSX SDK and a lot of 3D modeling and texturing experience.

  • So slick!!!! Never heard of that software......I use Vellum since I'm on the Mac. Still could never accomplish what you have.

You must be a "kid" to be THAT good, ha ha ha. I'm a child of the 60s, myself.

    Carry on!

    Steve

  • @toysbyus1 Thanks! I'm 17, not quite a full grow adult either! I've been making planes since I was 10 and making them in 3D since 12...

  • Did you design and "build" this? If so, SWEET job. May i ask what application you used?

Very nice design. I used to design GI Joe vehicles for Hasbro in the 1980s and designed the Cobra Raven..........

    Really nice!!

    Steve

  • @toysbyus1 Thanks! I did design it and built it in 3D. I used gmax, which is a downgraded freeware version of 3ds max 5.

  • Nice design, i like the vertical engine placement.

And as for the Blackbird's top speed, I think it's limited by its engine technology and max thrust. Ramjets are only useful to around Mach 4, I think. Still, who knows. Only the pilots can be sure how fast it went.

  • @Echo115RS Thanks! I agree, the Blackbird's top speed is limited by, not only engine but also aerodynamics since that at mach 3 the plane becomes glowing red due to drag...

  • a hypersonic jet cant be fly by humans it can if you controll it tru a remotontrol like a UAV the plane is to fast and reaction would be to slow or u need to take drugs

  • @7249xxl True, but, where does it say that this plane is hypersonic? It hardly reaches mach 1.2!

  • @youdontknowxpand ? are you so dump the fastest plane today the blackbird goe smag 0.8 most of the tim ethey say 8 because non plane goes hygher than that

  • @7249xxl No, the Blackbird goes at mach 3... Believe me I have seen lots of specifications of the plane... The fastest plane is actually the X-43 that flyes at mach 7... It was on the news... Please, don't call me dumb... I've been learning about planes for 12 years...

  • @youdontknowxpand dude the speed of the blackbird is unknown.

  • @yoyoyoyoshua How is it unknown? The plane is real, it flew and it's top speed is mach 3.2. Look it up...

  • @youdontknowxpand I said the maximum speed of the blackbird it only flew to mach 3 but know one knows if that was just at full throttle or not cause the goverment is hiding it still.

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Man, I don't know, I have 4 books on flight and airplanes and all say that the top speed is mach 3.2... Mostly because of aerodynamic issues...

  • @youdontknowxpand that just what they say but really it can go faster

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Ok... We'll have to wait to see if they'll unveil all the truth...

  • @youdontknowxpand yeah hopefully it will be soon but I think that if they do it won't be for a long time.

  • @youdontknowxpand the aurora is ment to go hypersonic

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Wait what? This is not the secret aurora... It's a design made by me...

  • i have some awesome designs for FSX military aircraft and as soon as I can get FSDS or GMax(which one is better btw) I am going to start making freeware and payware models of them.

  • @7A1R28 Cool, can't wait to see them! Gmax is the most versatile, but FSDS is easier to export... My personal advice is using gmax...

  • @youdontknowxpand Can you apply textures on the model in gmax or do you have to apply them in a spearate program? also how to you create control surfaces such as rudder movements thrust control etc.?

  • @7A1R28 Thhe textures MUST be applied in gmax. To create the control surfaces you can resort to making those parts from separate objects or cutting them from the wing using booleans...

  • @youdontknowxpand also to animate them you must read the instructions on the FSX SDK.

  • what program did you use to make this? I have several planes that I could put in here

  • @dmans7707 Gmax: 3D Cad sofware, it's free... The FS2004 SDK, also free and FSX to fly the planes....

  • Dude , stop making virtual planes. REAL AVIATION WORLDS NEEDS DESIGNERS LIKE YOU!

  • lol, thank you!

  • Thanks!

  • wheres the tail thingy... i dont think it cant fly witout a tail

  • It can fly: Real Examples: B-2 Bomber, X-45 and so on...

The tail is only needed to maintain stability in tight turns, but with the fly-by-wire system it's absence is almost unnoticeable. Also this aircraft has all it's surfaces with negative dihedral that almost makes up for the lack of Vertical Stab...

  • have you never seen a b-2?

  • the b2 is wedged shaped?

  • yes

  • i ques you know some things about gmax but can you animate things in gmax? becose i just started gmax but i used metasequoia

  • well, we'll handle that with pm's...

  • is this gmax?

  • The plane is made on gmax the video was made on Flight Simulator X.

  • Awesome!!

  • Thanks!

  • it look like it will be a great rc airplane its so fucken cool

  • Thanks!

  • wow, nice airplane!

can you give me the file please?

and did you upload this to any website?

if you want i can upload it to my website for you

  • You need to read the description. there's a link to the plane and the update. Thanks!

  • wait! Sorry no link, go to simviation...

  • Good job, good plane!

    Congratulation!

  • thanks!

  • another great model, good work!

  • Thanks!!

  • Awesome! I love it! When can I download it?

  • Well, I don't know maybe soon.... thanks.

  • Model it in X-plane.

  • I don't know how... I don't have X-plane and I would never download it... Plus I don't know how to work with blender... so even if I had X-plane I couldn't make this aircraft for it... sorry.

    Thanks for the comment.
