I love Ernie and Bert. Originally Jim Henson did Bert and Frank Oz played Ernie. But they finally made the permanent agreement, let Jim play Ernie and let Frank play bert.
VH1 released a couple of CDs called For the Kids and this one is on one of the discs covered by the Barenaked Ladies. All you Sesame Street fans should pick up a copy. Proceeds benefit Save the Music.
This is in fact a visual provision - the song itself originally appeared in the Muppets' ABC album in 1971, in which the Muppets discuss the alphabet through song and sketch; this song covered "L" - later that year, many of the songs & sketches made it to the show; others didn't - this one did - the most famous one of that album, of course, is "C Is For Cookie" (covering "C")
What is wrong with the word 'linoleum'? I think that's a great L word!

I'd want to ask Ernie, "What is wrong with the word 'linoleum'?" I think it's a great L word!

They forgot the best word! Love!

Why not have a capital L so as not to confuse people; this looks more like an I to me when I look at it.

This song taught me what linnoleum was! ^_^
