A bit of trivia for those that didn't know. Way back before Deep Purple was formed in 1968 Gillan drummer Mick Underwood was in a band called The Dominators and their guitar player was Ian Gillan's best pal one Ritchie Blackmore!!!!

i am a massive fan of deep purple and iron maiden but one thing's for sure , this should be titled Ian Gillan Band with Janick Gers, not "Janick Gers with Ian Gillan"

Gillan is my all time favourite vocalist, his style rubbed off alot on Maiden's Bruce Dickinson too....in fact, the black fender strat u see Janick using to this day in Maiden was a parting gift from Ian Gillan.....
