  • You're wearing a shirt with the Red Hand of the O'Neill on it? Are you an O'Neill supporter? Reestablishing the O'Neill Monarchy in Ulster maybe? Go raibh maith agat!

  • @Cionaodh57 I was given this shirt by a friend when I visited Belfast. Some of my ancestors were Ulster-Scots. There's a strong connection between Ulster & Dixie. That's all. What the folks there decide to do politically is up to them. As an outsider with ties to the area and culture I feel close to the people there but at the same time I'm a foreigner.

  • The Red Shirts sound like a pathetic pack of losers and traitors.

1/4 of the "male citizenry"...that is too bad. I always thought the Union should have done the Southerners like the rest of greater America did the Amerindians. 1/4 is simply not enough...now 15/16 that is a better figure.

  • @threefiveZ Advocating genocide is simply disgusting.

  • I hope you enjoyed your trip to Ulster mate Deo Vindice.

  • Red Shirts were in Italy.

  • Lucky son of a bitch got 2 eyes, great haircut too brother. No Surrender, White Power

  • please if youre going to start a new south, please dont try to take us in florida, we want nothing to do with the "south." well i guess you can take the rednecks in north florida but dont try south of gainesville

  • @hookemstano, There's nothing "new" about the South. We simply want to maintain our culture and liberty - which are being destroyed in the US empire. Florida is very divided, as you point out. I know plenty of good Southern people in Florida. Sadly, there are millions of people (lots of them up up North or from Latin America) who are hostile to the organic Southern culture of Florida.

  • @RedShirtArmy

I am from Florida, my family has been here since the 1830's. My Great Great Great Great grandfather fought in the 1st Florida infantry against Union forces. There are still some of us down here in Florida and I am damn proud of being from Florida. Our new governor Rick Scott had Dixie playing during his inauguration.

  • @hookemstano Speaking as a proud Floridian Southerner (a descendant of Florida Crackers), you interlopers in South Florida can go back to New Jersey, or where ever you came from. You people can't wait to leave the miserable places you were born in to come to Florida, then, when you get here, you do your damndest to make it just like the hole you crawled out of!

  • @learlessfeader hey guess what dumbass, i was born and raised in florida and my whole family has been here for a long time. Im not form south florida but from orlando. So dont go assuming anything about me you dumb fuck. I actually went one year in school in alabama, land of southern culture and ive never seen anything so fake, bigoted, and xneophobic as that area. And ive been all over our state and dont find much of that around, so its probably you who dont understand floridain culture

  • @hookemstano Don't want to be part of the south? Get out.

  • @hookemstano If you want nothing to do with the South then you should leave. You live in a place that you do not consider home and in which you despise the people who do call it home. In other words, go back home.

  • @hookemstano Shut the fuck up if you dont want a part of the south get the fuck out we dont want you either... ohh and btw i live in florida south of gainsville

  • there is a movie called ride with the devil. it is about the red shirts. check i out.

  • As a distant relative of Wade Hampton's, I have taken a great interest in researching his role in the south & in the Civil War. The war was about many political issues including slavery. Wade Hampton was concidered the most radical of his time. He wanted slaves to be freed and also to have rights & protection as Americans. He refused to join the KKK. True, he was the largest slave owner but by inheritance. He was befriended by many. His dying words.."God bless everyone, white and black"

  • Your right except one thing, the "redshirts" of Mississippi were totally different. They were one of the main units who was commanded by Jefferson Davis in the Mexican War. They used rifles later to be known as the Model 1941 Mississippi Rifle because it was used by the Mississippi Redshirts. Anyways good vid, Deo Vindice

  • Is that the Red Hand of Ulster on your shirt?

    :)

  • Where the hell you learn to write English? thats not even English, its some corrupted version of it.

  • What's the Carlist flag for?

  • the yankee empire has never stop treating the south harshly the things that are going on today shows that they continue to attack our culture are southern way of life are leaders who fought for southern independence

  • 5 *

  • Part 2- He schooled in the 1930's. Not so much told about the Reconstruction era from memory, though his mothers side had a former Confederate that served in the KKK around Tex/Ark. One can understand, given the right context, that the Klan had its place. I say that advisedly, because whatever this organization was called - it was meant to counter the vicious, oppressive and antagonistic controls; and unchecked malfeasance and manipulation of the Southern people.

  • Part 1 - Your knowledge of history is so vital and interesting. My dad told me some solid stuff about the US Civil war as a kid over the dinner table.Difficult to be certain, but I think these pivotal facts were passed down thru family generations... he invoked a sense in me not to trust everything I read in the newspaper or books . . . so perhaps there was a well enforced system of indoctrinated lies, even in the tiny rural area he grew up.

  • I have a good friend that is also a school teacher. He is from Kentucky. We've had the same discussion, regarding teaching about The War for Southern Independence. He feels the same way I do. That in most of today's history curriculum, children are taught the skewed perspective that generations of past children have endured. The war was not as simple as a considerable amount of "history writers" have insinuated i.e. They wanted slavery, we didn't.

  • Confession - I am an upper elementary school teacher and after viewing many, many videos from redshirtarmy, I must confess that it's difficult to teach the early American history that is in the textbook. The Civil War was my favorite section, but now I dread it, as I must teach the Union version.

  • I understand what you are saying. However you said upper elementary correct? Well 4th and 5th graders are still vulnerable to the truth at the age of 10 or 11. I dont think they would question the truth if you gave it to them. However if a parent complains or something (unlikely) you tell them to talk to me or the Palmetto Patriot. All I would need to do is ask them a couple simple questions and they'd get off your back.

  • Hi Joseph,

They would love the truth...I'm sure, but if I were to start teaching "out of the box," I wouldn't have a job. It's sad but true. The "truth" has to be passed down from generation to generation.

  • Oh I hear ya. Thing is that I got a lot of the truth from my instructors from The South Carolina Military Institute. I was fortunate. I know a lot of even State schools are just as much a joke about the War of Northern Aggression as anyone. I was deeply upset to find out my public school education on the subject had been damn near a joke. Funny how at a government academy to train officers for the US Army I got more pro-Confederate sentiment than highschool. You'd think it would be reversed.

  • There's always more than just one way of doing things, GAGirlie. Using one word instead of another; stressing one point instead of another; telling stories about one person instead of another. You get the idea. It can be done. I'm a teach myself and I daily spread the word even in a highly liberal environment. It can be done. Hang in there!

  • we are modern day red shirts us confederate loving SC'ers

  • Hey Palmetto Patriot I saw on your page that your 32. Now maybe I am just crazy or mistaking it for someone elses but didnt it say 31 the other day? Well what I am implying is that unless I am mistaken you've had a birthday. So if thats the case Happy B-Day.

    DEO VINDICE

  • Thanks very kindly, Joseph. It was indeed my birthday and I appreciate it! :)

  • Oh no problem I just thought I noticed that. Guess I was right. Hope it was good one. Maybe someday you will get the best present of all. South Carolina's Sovereignty.

  • Interesting video, 5 Stars.

    God Bless The Redshirts!

  • Interesting video! Never heard of the Red Shirts before, but you describe them and explain their history brilliantly.

    Very good work.

    Best wishes from Ulster.

  • Not at all. The three you mentioned served three entirely different types of movements. The RedShirts fought for the enfranchisement of their people and to throw off an occupational government.

  • Yes, they wanted us back as "brothers" and yet said "oh btw you cannot vote." Hypocritcal indeed.

  • Anyone think we should have a traditional christian southern monarchy?

  • @emperoralus: If only more people thought the same way as you and me...

  • Great video my rebel brother! THE SOUTH CAN AND WILL RISE AGAIN!!! GOD BLESS THE CSA AND ALL MY REBEL BROTHERS!!!

  • Its truly amazing. Like back in highschool I ripped the cover off my 12th grade history book (long story) Anyway I had to buy the damned thing since the school didnt want it. So I just kept it around as evidence to show how much misinformation is thrown around about the War of Northern Aggression. I find literally ZERO about what really happened after Lee surrendered. Theres little or no mention of how our rights were stripped from us. Theres very little about other things to. Like the KKK.

  • They make sure and print that Former CSA general Forrest was their first Imperial Wizard. However they dont mention once the membership roster. How by their 5 year anniversary about 40,000+ current and former Union troops (some stationed here as part of the occupation) were also members.

No mention of how many Southerners continued to starve in the midst of the destruction. Yet rant on and on about an Un-Constitutional warcriminals behavior ie Lincoln.

    Great Video Brother

    DEO VINDICE

  • Looking good with that beard! Hubba hubba. Thanks for telling us about the Red Shirts. I had never heard of them, which is a true byproduct of Yankee imperialism.

  • lol.. thanks! It's finally starting to fill in now and I'm much happier with it. lol Take it easy. Hope all is well there.

  • Great video "RedShirtArmy", thanks for the history lesson! You should put this on TSC when you get the chance... Take care buddy.

    JohnnyReb {North Carolina}

  • Keep up the GREAT VIDEOS! Our people will prevail! Deo Vindice!

  • This is a great video..brother, I enjoyed it.

    The informative ones are great.

  • Great vid.Looks like you lost your razor.LOL.God bless our south and the RSA.DEO VINDICE

  • Yeah, going to leave it down for a while and see if the beard fills in. If so, going to go with that for a while. lol

  • ur starting to look a bit like a mountain man lol. great video 5/5. i learn something new with each one.

  • if lincoln hadn't been shot the period following the end of the war would have been drastically more respectful towards the south. Making whites not be able to vote and giving blacks the right to vote while not providing blacks any protection and not giving the south any ability to rebuild OF COURSE there's going to be serious repercussions.

  • Repercussions that continue until today..and on into the future..

  • great video. always knew what they where but never fully so thanks for making this video. great job.

  • I appreciate it. They were brave folks and it's a pleasure to spread the word about them.

  • your welcome. you did a great job on this video keep it up.

  • Hope I don't bore y'all too badly in this latest SLMN video. Please stay strong and take care everyone.

    Deo Vindice!
