This is a Mullen GT kit car converted to battery electric. Ugly as sin, but really freaking fast. IIRC, one of the members of the band Lincoln Park owns a gasoline powered one.

The top speed is very attractive, but I bet range going 175 mph is about 25-30 miles, wheras at 60 mph it's much higher, even comparable to a gas car.

Won't let them? The only thing they have on their side is the ability to launch marketing campaigns that make them seem ugly and non sporty. It seems they were successful with you. Electric vehicles are freaking awesome. I've got an electric scooter that is not 6 figures, but it gets me around town pretty quickly and without having to pay terrorists a cent.

True they are a scam. the powers that be will charge u more for them,$10.000 to $20.000 more than for the gas shit,and then turn around say,see we told ya so.the hybrids are designed to "FAIL".
