I was wondering is this the original one(I have one too), because 'Mirror' do not have the ribbons on her hair/ the picture of the cards are the same as clow cards.

I have the American plastic version that came out that hasn't got the Hope card but I would love this version as well just so I have both but the one I would really want is the limited edition Clow Card book that came out that was pretty much an exact replica of the book from the anime/manga but only something like 20 were made or something like that.

For someone who has such a rere item you sure complain a lot about it. It's cool. We get it. There will always be inaccuracies to toys compared to the anime, but I wonder if you knew that. Even Sailor Moon items have inaccuracies but FANS still get the cool toys. Doesn't sound like you're a fan but more a collector who doesn't appreciate the fact that this is more about the fans liking the anime AND the stuff than the collecting itself. Most collectors forget that fact unfortunately.

OMG I HAVE THAT ONE! *is proud* I got it in the Philippines in a anime and manga store for about the equivalent of FIVE us dollars. Interesting, right? The cards are glossy, but won't easily break. You could throw it into a bucket of water and it won't disintegrate upon contact.

It's funny, because as a kid, I actually remembered my folks buying the clow card book (though the book was red). And the thing is, I'm a guy so when me and my parents went to a Sun Coast store (I think it was Sun Coast anyway), I'll admit I was even a little hesitant because I was concerned with what would happen if any other kids saw me with such a product. And yes, this was around the time I watched the Nelvana dub on Kids WB, when I was 10-11 years old.

@franku26: Yeah! I mean I keep hearing that when Nelvana dubbed it, edited it, and it aired on KidsWB, the show was changed to almost make Lee seem like the main character. But all I kept recalling was a girl wearing frilly outfits all the time, rollerblading to hunt down pretty-looking cards. Not that it bothered me much, and hell even back then, as edited as it was, I could've sworn there was a subtle potential romance between Lee and Sakura.

@Hypeathon Sigh, let's not bring that up shall we? CardCaptors was a massacre of the original CCS as many mature undertones were removed to make it 'kid safe'.

The reason that they made it seem like Li was the main character was because the mindset of most US TV producers is that boys won't watch a show if it has a girl as the main character.

@Hypeathon Heh, heh. No worries friend. I never force my opinions on what other people should like or watch. The fact that I prefer the original is my opinion and you are free to enjoy the US Version as well.

I personally believe that everyone should at least watch the show in it's original unedited form out of respect for the original material, but if you enjoy dubs, hey, go for it. (^.^)
