At 0.13 seconds you see the menu on the left side of the screen with pen tool, magic wand tool, lasso tool, etc. I don't have that, how do I get that back?

bloodrollers, I was 13 when I made this, and now it's been more than 2 years since I uploaded this video. I understand Photoshop A LOT more NOW than I did THEN.

This was all I could offer as a beginner to a fellow beginner.

Yes, definitely and if you still like the MS paint look compared to photoshop, you can get that in photoshop too.

This video contains some bad suggestions. #1 tip for drawing, use the pen tool. Brush tool should only be used for color. Nevertheless, it still contains some good starter explanations for noobs.

here some other features that I know of:

crop: used to HIDE parts of the image. HIDE, not Remove!

hand tool: same as the move tool...

some of this information was a bit off, you said the 'Magie Wand Tool" was for selecting lines where it's not it's selets colour like for examle you have some yellow, blue, red and green you click on the green with the 'Magic Wand Tool' and it will select all that green and you can then do what you want with it

i use the clone stamp to bring my backgrounds and pictures together. first make the background of the picture transparent then click on the tool press "alt" and click on the pictures now go to you background and click with the tool on the background.

and now it has got a beautyfull background.( i thought some people would like to know how it works)
