I love your sunny eyes, Sr. Unity... and your spiders are lovely too, Sr. Nora. Your conversation is right-on about love, hate, the flip sides of each other... you always have to ask yourself, when you have a negative reaction to someone or something, is, what is it in me that creates that reaction? Consider the Old Catholic Church in San Diego... Blessed John the Beloved. They are a very welcoming lgbt friendly Catholic parish not under the Pope.

@foititis I and the Sisters have meet the the Priests from this Church.. they are lovely! and we even posed for Pictures! We were made to feel very welcome! I am not Anti-Catholic, but I do poke pun at it? and can not abide any theology that hold the LGBT community in ill intent or harm.. but there are so many good examples of religion out there

That's wonderful. I am glad that you had a good experience with them. When I was with the Old Catholics in The Hague NL, I had an interesting experience of being in a 600 yo Old Catholic church where a mixed race married gay couple was having their child of a third race baptized... and the cotton haired old ladies were there giving the child their blessings. I love Catholic... the Roman variety can go pound dirt though.
