thanks for the tab..... can you give me tips on how to mute that last part ( from 1:30-end), do you barely touch the strings on top of the fret itself?
@rusty1114 these notes are called flagoulets. you play them by placing your fingers on certain positions of the fretboard and then simply picking the string. the most common positions are the 5th, the 7th and the 12th fret. but there are flagoulets near the 4th and 3rd fret as well, e.g. it's not that difficult to understand and even easier to play ;) just look it up in the internet or ask a guitar teacher about those "mute" notes :D
thanks for the inspiration to play your soul full version of amazing grace. I never played in DADGAD before, but listening to you I have a renewed spirit to learn suck a beautiful son,,,, thanks
Bless you Hammer for sharing your arrangement!!!! A wonderful friend who idoesn't have much time left has asked me to play "Amazing Grace" at his funeral. The tuning and arrangement is beautiful!!!!! Very soulful guitar playing. Thanks!!!!
and thanks for the free tablature. Nice to find someone who doesn't always want to make a buck, but prefers to share their love of the instrument. Keep up the great playing!
