  • Without a doubt one of the best "live" performances of "All My Love" in the history of Led Zeppelin. Of course, only being originally released only one year earlier in 1979, Robert and the band were still in good form. Unfortunately, his voice hasn't stayed fully with him in his elder years, although I have seen recent performances where he actually has been in very good vocal form. Nothing of this caliber though. Fantastic performance.

  • Jimmy Page seems like such an asshole! He didn't go to Karacs funeral. That is just so...

  • @MrKenzoh1 Rather presumptuous to assume what Jimmy Page was feeling when his band fell apart around him isn't it? Robert's distress. The possibility it would never happen again for the group. Maybe the fact that he'd slid into the slippery slope of smack made him feel it would be disrespectful to attend Karac's burial while doped. We'll never know. I'm just proiding a different angle.

  • thanks for this upload, much appreciated!

  • Does anyone know how to pronounce Robert's deceased son's name: Karac Pendragon...?

  • @bkarmgb18 Kah Rahk with a mildly rolled "r". Pen Dragon just like so.

  • Hey Conney, what concert in 1980 do you think is the best concert Zeppelin played? My gut tells me the Frankfurt gig is the absolute best but I haven't listened to all the gigs. What do you figure?

  • @RockerForLife74 I'd say maybe this one from Zurich

  • @Conneyfogle How was the Bremen concert in your opinion? I heard it wasn't that great. That and Led Zeppelin's last performance in Berlin was a bit off. I heard Stairway to Heaven from the Berlin concert, longest Stairway solo but probably the worst one too.

  • @RockerForLife74 Bremen is ok, I'm not a big fan of the 80's gigs, but at least they are all soundboards which makes them worth having I guess

  • @Conneyfogle How about 1977? That was Zeppelin's dark year for sure since most of the performances I've heard we're not too good. I heard the Houston concert you put up, it was ok. Lots of mess ups for sure though. What would you say is the best '77 concert, where everyone is in the best shape for that year? I'm thinking Landover, but you know best :) Thanks.

  • @RockerForLife74 Any of the LA shows from '77 are great, April 27th, and 28th are awesome, 30th is good too if you can get past the quality of the recording,Most of the shows in Madison Square Garden are tops as well. I'm sure Tampa would've been good if it hadn't gotten canceled three numbers in. Also the Landover shows are a solid A to A-.

  • @Conneyfogle Bremen was good as well. ;)

  • i never heard the led zep live version until now. Great white does a good version of this too but nothing tops led zep. great white does a tribute cd to zeppelin.

  • estaban bien chavitos ahhh Zeppelin que chingonada

  • This is great, I remember as kid going to my record store asking about this concert, the man told me he could find it for 100$. I walked out. and went to Kmart and bought Song remains the same....ahhh those where the days.

  • is there a VIDEO????? all there are is the song i want a video

  • @PRJ355 there are very few videos of zep out there. only a few clips from 80 no complete shows, far as i know

  • @DavidVIIIcool i just want a live video of all my love to put on my ipod

  • I have a copy of this show on cd.

It is from a sound board pressing I am told.

  • @LZFAN2009 yeah, nearly all the 80's gigs are

  • Thanks for posting this. it so much easier to hear what Jimmys doing on guitar than the lush studio version. Jimmy is playing a Fender B-Bender Telecaster in the studio and likely here as well. The B-Bender bends only the B-string and not the other 5 strings and is activated by attaching the guitar strap to the bender arm and pushing down on the neck.

  • Obrigada....por postar.

  • All I know is that this song was written about his 5 year old son who died back in 1975, I believe.

  • yer your right but he died in 1977

  • simplemente una canción fascinante...

  • Awesome! That guitar... so fucking brilliant.

    Thanks for this amazing version.

  • Only heard it a few times, that's why I especially appreciate it. If there is any great history to it, kindly let us know. Thanks again.

  • I gave all mine to someone, and haven't had it back yet ... That's the last time I lend my stuff out!

  • Great. Thanks for the fab post.
