@PoFscience 1. The overall quality is much better, ie. Better performance, build quality and sound. The BCD 3000 is slow, plastic and horrible sounding, but it's perfect for beginner DJs. Pioneer's stuff is an overall state of the art equipment. It's might not have a large amount of "cheese" sound effects but in every other situation it delivers an outstanding performance compared to its competitive.

@PoFscience 2. I use Virtual DJ due to its simplicity. It has all of the features that I actually do need, I don't use effects. But that is just my opinion, I highly suggest that you try both software before buying (i.e 30-days trail)If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me anything =)

Does yours have a high noise floor? BTW, too bad they changed to split cue on the 2000 to the key button on the 3000. I'd buy one if it still had the split and I could confirm low noise on them. How's the headphone amp/jack on it?

its 130 euro (114 pounds) in stores. (the numark is 250 euros (220 pounds) in the store)

i gotta say it seems like the euro is doing good now. american $ aint worth shit and the pound is pretty much the same almost?! nice! btw the behringer RULES

The BCD3000 has 2 phono/line inputs....so it can i guess,but the NDX400's don't send MIDI data....so is MIDI necessary or can i connect theM?? please answer!!!

I now have 2 NDX400's, a Reloop RP-2000 MK3 and a behringer DX626 mixer.

@MehransChannel You need the latest drivers, which are available at Behringers Website.

Download and install then... In the "Config" menu, goto "Mappers" and select "Behringer BCD 3000". If you're not able to see your device try to re-install the drivers or install the "ASIO4All" drivers... This should solve your problem. If not, try to change the "Sound Card" to BCD 3000 under the "Sound Setup" tab.

Unfortunately the BCD 3000 does not run through a USB.... =(

@lvl99hp You can use the Master Output for example with external speakers. The inbuilt Sound Card allows you to set up a pair of speakers and run them through the BCD 3000.

@lvl99hp You will need a "3,5 mm" to "RCA" (the Red and Withe one)

This is how it would look like....

Berhinger BCD --> RCA Output ---> "3,5 mm to RCA Converter" ---> Speakers.

Remember to change the audio settings in your computer/program =)

i have an external usb audiointerface (fasttrack pro) using it with monitors via jack cables. and im planning to buy a bcd 3000. so do i have to decide now which one to use? with the bcd 3000 i will have to get new cinch cables right? and the fasttrack pro is probably useless then?

@nuncet I think your will be able to run the "input signal" thorugh USB and out through your soundcard.

I have this set up, (But through my Moderboard's soundcard)....

It might depend on your software if your able to use it or not.

However, try to use the "ASIO driver" (ASIO4ALL) instead. They allow you to change your inputs/outputs etc...

I'm not very sure, cause I know peaple who had hard time with this. Otherwise try to contact you local DJ store or Behringer themself.... =)

It's nothing bad with the "BCD" (for a beginner). But as you advance you will probably be more pleased with the "rmx".

@yousurfer2 i heard there are problems with the external stuff but behringer is working on it. all in all it's pretty awesome. one suggestion, it needs its own power source, don't connect to a surge protector unless you plan on using it strictly dedicated to the BCD3000. it's a power whore

it will work on Any DJ software that has midi controler support, as the BCD3000 is basicaly a Midi Controller with a USB soundcard built in.

I use "ASIO driver" (ASIO4ALL) which allows me to listen through my speakers (Moderboard soundcard) and through the Headphone jack (Bcd 3000)....

If you're using Traktor, make sure you've got your beat grid set up. Also make sure you have a beat marker. It won't sync if there's no beat marker

The beat grid is Traktor's way of identifying where the beats are. This is important for syncing. Check out this post on DJTechTools on setting up a beat grid: djtechtools[dot]com/2008/04/09­/quickly-set-up-perfect-beat-g­rids

Traktor SHOULD automatically analyze a track when you load it for the first time. If you have a grid, you may just need to add a beat marker, which you can do by going to the first beat, adding a cue, and storing as a beat marker.
