well its called keep your cd's or google for the drivers,

also mice and keyboards do not need drivers for users to install

@bigjake52 well some computers dont come with cd's well now and days with windows 7 but im downgrading to windows xp so backing up drivers will become helpful

Man I can't tell you I don't know how many times I had to wipe my computer ( vista) just b/c the sound drivers suddenly vanished out of thin air! Windows suck!

For those who don't know, when Windows demands a driver click the Browse button, then use the dialog (gray window) that appears to click through to the folder containing your saved drivers.

Extracting the drivers can save a ton of work and frustration with old computers...like all of mine. Thanks again!

There are other driver backup programs as well, such as Double Driver, Driver Magician Lite, etc.

Mark all the files in system32 invisible, then install these programs. Grab their files they install to the system32 folder & drop directly into the same folder as the EXE in the program folder.

Grab the icon from the EXE with batch icon extractor, then use Win Rar to compress the files to the max + solid & convert to a silent SFX single EXE!

Now, it runs faster, is easier to use!
