Trulli is a fine qualifier no doubt.

Also how did everybody forget he beat Alonso in Renualt in 2004? He won in Monaco, Alonso did not.

In fact Trulli still had more points and was ehead in the championship before he left for Toyota for the 3 last races of the 2004 season.

The most underrated F1 driver. Give him a Ferrari or McLaren and he will have the potential to win a championship. I dont think he is a legendary driver like Senny or Schumi but I'm sure he would own drivers like DC. The question is: Why DC got always good cars (except his last years) und Trulli didn't? En realidad, cuando quiere trulli es un piloto muy bueno, sobretodo en calificacion, tiene una gran concentracion para 1 vuelta, pero en carrera suele tener mala suerte y pierde enseguida la concentracion, pero si logra mantenerla, tiene un ritmo muy bueno y logra podios y hasta la victoria de monaco

Most experts believe Jarno's talent is at the top and his car control among the very best. Sadly he has never driven a really good car. Also,he sometimes seems to loose motivation and just drive along...

In points perhaps, not on raw pace or qualifying. In 2005 he beat Trulli with 2 points, but Trulli got no points for the last 4 races, when Ralf got 10 in total.

Trulli 3 podiums. Ralf 2. Trulli led 4 laps. Ralf none.

Toyota didn't like to pay Ralf loads of money when Trulli does an equal or better job for a lot less.

Ok Trulli is one of the best qualifyer,but in the qualifying you don´t get any points. And Ralf led 14 laps and Trulli only 6 in 2005/2006, Ralf 3 podiums and Trulli the same in 2005 and 2006. Sorry, but Trulli is not equal better than Ralf, maybe on the same level.

I guess ur right about him and alonso in 2004 but in 2005 alonso won the championship and truli didn't even get to 2 place on any race. But he had a less competitive car. If he goes to ferari he mnight win at least once more in his carear

Not a tulli fan myself but he even makes Nick Heidfeld and Heinz Harald frentzen look overated. Thinking back hes been totally annonomous - the british media are less intrested in him than in succesfull/moderately succesfull german drivers!

YES! AUSSIE TRULLI FAN! LOVED TRULLI EVER SINCE BEFORE I FOLLOWED F1 THANKS TO F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX ON N64. I hope he never retires...but his contract with Toyota ends at the end of 2009. Hopefully he gets a new contract.
