one thing that i really like about Gary, is that he really puts his own into the songs and doesn't come off sounding silly with a fake nasal twang. the look is 100% there, but the sound is more his own and he does justice with it. John's voice had a very unique quality and he was a really good singer, and Gary does and puts his own spirit into it which I like a lot. Makes him my fav for this.

I've watched an interview with Gary Gibson about 6 or 7 years ago and I gotta say that he looks just like Lennon.

He also mentioned that he met Yoko Ono accidentally in NY and when she saw him, she couldn't stop staring at him.

He sounds just like Lennon as well. Maybe he's some lost twin brother Lennon didn't know about...

Well, he looks eerily like Lennon, especially in the clip from "You're Gonna Lose That Girl." Yikes. And he kind of sounds like him at some points. He just needs a Yoko look-alike to come onstage and scream like a banshee for a few minutes, to recreate the full show.

This guy definitely looks the part and sounds pretty close. But, what's the point of this? If you've ever listened to Lennon he was glad to be done with the Beatles and never wanted to rehash his old material. I understand if you love the music, but you have the records, right? So why let some obsessed dude make money off of some one else's hard work? Do Lennon a favor and work for peace and get involved, write your own music, and make your own art. It's creepy? Let the man die! Love his work.

I agree, and I am sure John would agree on some things. But I think he should have never died in the first place. Sure, its right to praise a person for their ideals, and to continue them within your own creations. But is it so bad to tribute a great idol/icon? Hes stil the Best Lennon impersonator around. I went to Liverpool about 6 yrs ago for the Convention. The GG Band were playing and they started with One After 909. It was worth going just to hear that one. The whole band rocked.
