I'm surprised to see so much voice acting in the game, personally, given how little there was in the previous one.

I am kinda pleased to see a few returning characters, though.

Seems they were reincarnated. Teiris also returns (she has apparently been in suspended animation for almost 500 years).

Well, she IS a demon in service to an evil god. It's not really surprising when those sorts of characters get un-killed.
