its good you protect it so much. you want it to be like that so it doesnt dry out and fall out. be careful when straightening so much as you can end u bald at a very young age

I usually wet them in the morning and just pull them down until they're dry, it really helps ;D

What I do is train them! So After I take a shower I section them off and put them in the direction I want them to go by bobby pinning it there. Also when I blow dry I dry it in that direction with those big round brushes. I took my about 5 days to get them that way. I hope this helps!

Well, most asians do have naturally straight hair. However, straight hair is generally pretty lifeless unless you use an iron and product to style it. Also, you don't HAVE to separate your hair, especially if you're going for a very messy look in the long run. Separating your hair before hand really only helps if a)you have a lot of hair, b)you have curly/wavy hair, and/or c)you want your hair to look very sleek and uniformly straight. Otherwise, you can save time and effort by skipping it. :)
