@krisstyxo It was an interview done while marilyn was filming Lets make love in early 1960. The interviewer was Georges Belmont for Marie Claire magazine
Once again thank you. I feel better knowing that i am not alone in feeling unsociable.. i am the same way, sometimes. i luv my friends but solitude is ny safe haven,.. nobody can hurt me.abuse me.
I loved her since a very young age. I have now out-lived her. I can honestly say God brought her into my life and heart for many reasons... because i have similiar childhoid abuse and emptiness, not knowing where i belong. .. and i am the same way as her, i love solitude and to be alone ... her voice is hypnotic and soothing. RIP ANGEL
@heidirh I think that came from her rigorous vocal training as a starlet. She would be taught to enunciate every syllable, which is more similar to the phonetic way Europeans speak rather than American English.
"How strange -- she sounds at times like she has a slight accent -- like Danish or Swedish, or something similar..."
@heidirh really? she sounds American to me, except for the sound quality of the time. Anyway, I found it heartbreaking when she says she's "generally miserable." :-(
love 1:30 "i would like to be more sociable than i am..on some days!" a witty line, because its funny but so true! thats how we all feel, thanks for taking time uploading this i really enjoyed it and great footage :)
@2011marilynmonroe Thats ok! No problems!! i remember when it was hard to find marilyn footage or audio. at least with one click alot of it is now avalible but im sure there is alot more unseen footage and audio out there. And about what marilyn is saying in this interview its like she is saying im just like everybody else. A Human!
