So far, we have no idea. Not much is known about his condition at this time. One thing we do know is that he's blind in one eye, has seizures, and has severe growth retardation (ie adult teeth not growing in, etc). He also has a severely weak stomach.
Melvin is so cute. I am sorry to read he had problems. I have major issues myself with people who breed teacup Himmie and Persians. You blog is excellent.
Thank you! I'm trying to find as much info as possible so I can start posting more informative articles on the teacup fad. Hopefully word gets out that there is a lot of risks involved and people should reconsider.
I will keep Melvin in my thoughts and watching him hopefully improve.
