HOW to record live internet streams

You do not need to make or name any file.It will make a file itself and place the video in your /my documents/ my videos folder. The file can will be .. vlc.... and the date timestamp.

Depends on the codec you use but name the files  .asf and try that.

If that wont work try .avi

Hey all, this video will be taken down soon as the latest version of VLC has built in record option that allows you to record anything VLC can play.

WOOT. You may need to go into options in the new VLC and enable ADVANCED OPTIONS or EXTENDED MENU. You will then see the red button to one click record.

THE VERSION YOU WANT TO DL IS 1.0.5 GOLDENEYE or better, just google it for free download and enjoy.
