NC* Wii Play (Wii) Review

Don't get me wrong because I like Wii Play, but I also think it's too short, and it doesn't have a lot of mini-games. I have this game a mediocre rating on Gamespot. It would of been way better if this game has online play, and extra game modes and options. I bought this game in 2007, and I enjoyed it for a little while. In fact, I still play it occasionally when I'm bored around my home. I was also thinking about buying Wii Play Motion, but should I buy it or not?

this game really is awful. the only one i found decent was the billiards but heck you can play that sort of game online anyway. if you're looking for a good game to play with people get one of the mario party games. this game makes me believe that it was put together by an amateur team of developers (trust me, i make games on my spare time for kicks). it's interesting to look at from the point of view of, say, a person still learning game development BUT this game is not worth the $.

Some of the games were a little boring, and I can't really say Wii Play is a game worth going out of your way to get, but I still think you're being way to harsh for this game. I mean, seriously? A 2/10? This game is at least a 4 or 5.

its a good way to get a second wiimote + a game to try out the motions.

when u play it with a friend some of these games can be really fun.

Because it's unimaginative for one thing, and because most people don't hate this game, they hate what it represents.

It represents Nintendo becoming so greedy that they're willing to make people shell out $50 for minigame collections that you could usually find on Newgrounds, in better versions, and for free. It doesn't add up.

Personally, I really enjoy this game. The mini-games are entertaining except for maybe 1 and the rest are plenty fun and entertaining whenever I play. I believe this game is underrated and doesn't deserve over half the hate it gets. I would give this game around an 8/10.

I love N's style more then the others, I like arcade, puzzle, shooters, motion controls, etc. but I agree w/NC, these were boring, mind-numbing & unimaginative. tanks is the only decent one & I liked the IDEA of "find mii" but they did it w/such boring presentation/style. the laser hockey has mallets way too big & it feels way too cramped. Game Party did air hockey best so far, though it's AI is as dumb as a box of bricks. wii play's air/laser hockey shifts between moronic & shark.

It really is, don't bother with it. It might not be a bad game for grandma or a little kiddie, but if you want a good quality multiplayer wiigame, I'd probably go with super smash or maybe mariokart.

You should have gave this game a three out of ten because you found three ok games, but wait thats 3/9 so what would that be with tens hmmmmm... as you can tell I'm not good with fractions. I agree w/the review, the not sh** games :oP were laser/air hockey (even game party did that better) & tanks was the right balance of fun/strategy w/good textures. the controls were responsive/tight, that's the only thing they did right.

I like Duck Hunt. I still like Duck Hunt. However, I only have Wii Sports because it's free. Games like this should either come with remotes and things of that sort, be free, or come with games you pre-ordered.

I'd buy it for the remote, play the games maybe once or twice, sell WiiPlay to my retarded cousins or to an idiot on ebay, and then use that money to get some cheese if not enough to get a good game.

Like hopefully everyone, I bought wiiplay for the extra remote and a bumper sticker in Metroid Prime 3.

I don't think anything in the game is outright bad or unplayable, everything actually works pretty well, and some of the mini games would be great given more options.

(imagine the tank game as an online vs wiiware title)

I'd go as high as a 6/10, because I don't think anyone would pass on it (sans remote) for $6 or less.
