I'm back again lol. That's the thing with this movie when you watch it it gets you again until you get enough and then all it takes is it for it to pop up again like it did on channel 5 and then you have to watch it again and again. It's like chocolate,stuff yourself till ur sick lol
@detectivehester I really wish I can help. I do think it's a mishmash of every song that was sung and that could explain why there is no wedding march theme on the official soundtrack!
@Kaluthrica There are versions of the story where Cinderella is allowed to keep the second slipper and uses it later to confirm that she is the rightful bride (you can say that the shoe fits by accident, but you can't deny that the owner of the shoes should have the second of the pair). So I guess, after Cinderella was found by the prince with "his" slipper, she just went home and took "her" slipper with her.

The reason the prince has both slippers by this point is because he has already FOUND Cinderella once, hasn't he! This is the second time she has disappeared. When she left in the middle of the night to be hidden from the Prince, she had to leave the slippers in the castle. The prince keeps them next to a rose as a reminder of the lost love he thinks he'll never see again x

I think the Prince was going through the routine motions before the marriage, and at the same time speaking in his mind to Cinderella. I do not believe they were meant to be taken "hand in hand". :-)
