There should not be any arguement Price & Paris being MJ's children , they were allowed to represent MJ's tribute on the behalf of MJ . That means MJ's family - dad, mum, Janet & brothers approved of their representation on MJ 's behalf. Instead , it could have been MJ's bros & sis representing him. The whole crowd gave a standing ovation , means even super stars & others approved of them. So why argue about it.

I totally agree with you. I feel the same way. I know its moving to see these singers come out and show that they loved Michael but the truth to the matter is that Michael never felt loved by any of them and Michael was on ihs own during his trials and the bad time. Personally, I think that a different selection of singers may have been better e.g Smokey Robinson should have been joined by Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight, perhaps as they were there from the genesis of his career, as well as in support of him, to an extent, during his rough times as well. The remainder of singers onstage had no place there.

Good point, Debonairman! The "old crew" of his cronies would have been more appropriate rather than people who didn't even know him. I know Hudson and Underwood, etc. are supposed to be there to woo the underage crowd but it just annoys me. I am going to try to appreciate it more. In a lot of tribute situations like these you find that , sometimes, the artists that participate are doing so for extra publicity e.g they are on the verge of releasing an album etc. The selection process generally has a hidden agenda. Another artist trying to cash in recently is R Kelly. Apparently, he is suing MJ's estate for the use of his song 'Ignition' in MJ's televised interview back in 2003!!! Talk about scraping the barrel! Damn...
