there is no other film yet in tamil cinema which showed college students so decently like the movie "kalloori". kudos to balaji shaktivel, shankar, joshua sridhar, chezhiyan and the cast.
I have watched this movie more than 30 odd times.... It seems to have cast a spell on me..... once in a lifetime movie.....haunting for years.... there is a feel of freshness in the potrayal...of love... of humour...of friendship...and of tragedy..... over 3 years now since its release the movie has a profound impact in me.... Balaji Sakthivel is a legend of our times........Expect more such movies from him.... 3 odd years is too long a wait for his timeless movies...hats off to you

I was seeing myself in the movie well done. i hope it need not to well box offfice but the comments from the peole make more worthier than other box office movies. well done i want movie like kallori should come once a year.

Tamanna is going to go places, i would really like her to choose these kind of roles than glamarous ones she acted in KD and Vyabari. Those role didnt suit her at all. Balaji sakthivel' direction, Joshua' music and Na Muthukumar' lyrics and Cheziyan' camera spoke well here. Kudos team

This was one of the best movies I have seen the past few years..Balaji Shakthivel has done an amazing job..all the characters were so apt that it was hard to get out of the movie mentally for quite some time..look forward to more such simple and meaningful movies that all of us can connect to..

I was fuming after 2nd test @Sydnet. I couldn't digest the fact that Indians are plaing the third test even after OZs atrocious disgusting behaviour.....but this film and the background true incident has brought me back to reality.

yes. it did happen in a town called dharmapuri in south tamil nadu. three college girls were burned along with a bus when some political people were protesting against an useless issue
i watch kallori movie but it was average movie compare to kadhaal with balaji directed but however i give 3 stars out of 5 choose to be friends or lovers already we seen kadhaal desam

Can someone make a Tamil movie devoid of Heroism, Dream Songs in Switzerland, a Villain and lots of butchering, leg breaking group dancing with systematically uniform wearing dancers, etc etc ? Balaji Sakthivel proves once again with his Kaloori. The strengths in the film is its weakness.
Tamanna is an ethereal beauty and looks so beautiful without makeup.
