The problem i have is, there's like no japanese teachers here in newyork(i prefer to be taught by someone who speaks the language then teach myself, because i get too discouraged).

Nope not albino. Trust me, I've had all of the necessary testing done. I just happened to get a lot of recessive genes from my parents. Plus, albino people have platinum blonde hair and eyes that are such a light-blue that they look pink. And very pale skin of course. My eyes are green and my hair is more red-brown. Thnx for the compliments!

Ha! Thanks for the comment! And I'm not too well versed on albinism. I've heard that there's a whole spectrum of different kinds of albinism, but I haven't looked into it much. Good Japanese? I dunno, but it literally took me HOURS just to make that tiny vid cuz my speaking actually sux. Nothing about this vid is "off the cuff" so to speak. I hope I'm a lot better by now though!

Why? That's a good question. I'm pretty sure I've always been interested in anything asian, but I think anime (blush) got my attention the most. Now I hardly watcha nime, if at all. I just love foreign language and I also like a challenge. Japanese seems to be a good fit for this. I want to learn chinese as well, but, to me, Japanese is moe pleasurable. Plus, Japanese society is just so quirky compared to American society. I can't wait to experience it first-hand!

Did you say that you haven't studied in Japan, but you studied 3 years? (I might have misunderstood because my Japanese is so crappy)... that's great. You speak better than 80% of the foreigners I met in Japan, myself included. If you can get a good score on the Japanese proficiency test, your future could have a lot of possibilities.

Sorry this response is a little late. BTW both of my parents and all of my grandparents and great grandparents are black...I'm not mixed. It's not really a generalization to be called an african american. "american" would be a generalization. Oh...and you have no idea what it means to be black. Most 'black' people don't even know. I'm not trying to be defensive, I just think u should do ur homework before making such accusations is all.

I personally do think it's a generalization to say you're African American, just like it's a generalization to say I'm Asian American. More specifically, I'm Chinese American.

I suppose it's a generalization. But, thnx to slavery, I couldn't tell you the origins of my ancestors...whatever African country they're from. If anything, based on the passed 5+ generations, I'm all-american. It really doesn't matter until ur applying for school or a job or whatever, so I don't generally classify myself until it's required.
