  • I do live that kind of pistol its effective and unique in my eyes

  • sobraram 6 balas, dá pra acabar com o Restart e ainda sobra munição

  • 100 years of service... damn

John Browning can be proud of it

  • barrel rotation ? it must cause bad precession of fire.

  • ever heard about an app called gandissamble?

  • that was so cool

  • Best pistol ever

  • Nice job

  • que Tema es ? me respondes, ¿WHATS SOUND MUSIC?

  • i like how the gun fires without the trigger being pulled...

  • Why isn't the grip safety in the pic?

  • Song?

  • CUTE.!

  • @SolidSnake22346 NOOOO, Colt Python FTW!

  • God didn’t make all men equal, Sam Colt did.

  • Dummy music i keep coming accross what do they make it with ,like cand laugh turn on the cand music it pops up every where ,yeuck.

  • alguien mas pensaba usar una bazooka y aprender a usarla?

  • thumbs up if colt is the best gun ever

  • BAD MUSIC BUT GOOD VIDEO =D

  • Dam i thought all guns today work behind gas powered mechanisms rather spring,

SPRINGS PRIMITIVE IT'S THE GUN POWDER THAT MAKES THE GUN. gas powered in my minds deadly or bold action to point.

  • @SolidSnake22346 its far beyond the ones made in Germany. really, it just takes in average about 7 bullets, right?

you guys just like it cause its made in USA but i tell you, its far beyond average. its old

  • just like almost every other pistol. nothin special

  • @JDSureshot9292 It was "just" the gun that was used in 4 major wars, and the system that was copied and now appears in "almost every other pistol". It was also the solution to the "stopping power" issue, as smaller calibers didn't provide satisfactory results.

  • Colt1911 has now 100 years old :)

  • @SolidSnake22346 thumbs up if you hate likewhores! :D

  • @Warbius003 wow I forgot I even posted that comment lmao!

  • Sick riff to go along with!

  • A beautiful piece of machinery by Mr. Browning. Will drop a crackhead in Detroit with little effort. Just imagine that big, slow hunk of lead tearing through a person O_O

  • @DehydratedManatee Thats beautiful!

  • @DehydratedManatee nazist of shit!!!!

  • @DehydratedManatee Why the fuck do you even have to mention Detroit?

  • @SolidSnake22346 after a 100 years?Hell Yeah.

  • so am i correct in saying the opposite reaction of propelling the bullet forward is responsible for the ejection of the shell and loading of new bullet?

  • @talesofdork yes the recoil from the 230 grain bullet being forced out the barrel at such high velocities creates pretty fierce recoil that is easily capable of propelling the fairly light slide back, since the slide goes back, it pulls all the other stuff back and makes the gun function. this is something called short recoil and is usually used in pistols, though some rifles use a modified version. Most rifles however use some type of either direct gas impingement or gas operated piston system

  • @talesofdork - almost. When the spring loaded slide racks forward, a new cartridge is stripped off the magazine and a small spring loaded tang inside the slide (the ejector) snaps over the rim of the cartridge (even though it's a rimless cartridge, there is a small rim, set flush to the body). On recoil, as the slide racks backward, that ejector pulls out the cartridge from the barrel - since it's only on one side (the side of the ejection port) the cartridge flys out the second the end clears.

  • my dad carries a 1911 with a 6 in barrel and now reggrets it...................cause its like havin a 5 bricks in ur pocket

  • Short recoil, tilting barrel, single action. The perfect military pistol, simple, rugged, powerful. You can't improve on that. The only possible variation is to use a rotating barrel, as some guns do.

  • huh, 100 years in the future and we're still firing nerf bullets?

  • @CaptPreston

    i hate nerf too:)

  • @CaptPreston Why try to improve perfection?

  • @CaptPreston I dont think there were nerf bullets 100 years ago dude. lol

  • @TheOnePistol Damn, guess I can trade out my Interceptor body armor for a set of foam vests now!

  • @CaptPreston Yep, war has officialy been wussefied! XD

  • Comment removed

  • @CaptPreston I'm guessing you've never seen a bullet before.

  • @TheJackson4eva and I'm guessing you've never seen satire before? Honestly, I spend my entire life loading 556 rounds into my magazine. However, never once have I seen neon yellow bullets issued like the ones in this video.

  • @CaptPreston Dude. When it;s clean it's a bright color until they pack them in The boxes. The lead stains it and becomes a dark copper.

  • good

  • @SolidSnake22346 I wouldn't say it's the best, but after 100 years its design hasn't been improved on much. The phrase "don't fix what's not broke" springs to mind here.

  • @glok6

Lol, no it's not. Using that logic, my bullets would just shoot out onto the floor when I lock the slide back with a full magazine. Google extractors and ejectors.

  • @robwtsn106 Actually, neither. Look closely at the rounds, they are 'groove and rim' at the rear. Stop the video at 0:02 seconds. Look closely just to the left of the firing pin. This is the extractor. It has a 'hook' on the end. The casing's rim slides up into the extractor hook. When fired, the slide moves back, the extractor pulls the casing straight back out of the chamber. Not shown, is the ejector. The slide moves back, the casing hits the ejector and is flipped out the ejection port.

  • @robwtsn106

The blowback of the slide pushes the spent round backwards, where it is then forced out of the chamber by the spring in the magazine, which pushes the next bullet up, and then the slide returns to regular position, loading the next bullet in the process.

  • @robwtsn106 The slide ejects the spent shell when it is pushed back by the force of the round going off.

  • What holds bullet while it is in pistol? I mean, what holds the bullet before you pull the trigger? Why the bullet just fall down throw the pistol's trunk?

  • @sanekx107 seen bullet's end? it has a little bigger ring at the end, and the gun keeps the bullet in place via the larger bottom. Simple.

  • @sanekx107 I'm assuming you have little experience with firearms. Watch, then stop the video at 0:04 seconds. Look very closely at the round. The (yellow) casing is a little larger than the (orange) bullet. The barrel is a thick tube drilled through for the bullet's diameter. The end where the bullet enters, the chamber, is drilled out just a little larger to fit the casing. The round is completely surrounded within the chamber and can't move at all.

  • did the trigger move?

  • @xistoxs Nope. xD

  • Type in Youtube:

"the BEST colt .45 1911 animation collection ( with labeled parts )".

You'll find it A LOT more interesting, knowledgeable, and better than this video.

  • ahhhhhhh^^

  • nice

  • now i know how a colt 45 works

  • 0:05

  • best handgun in existence.

  • North Carolina Gun Owners is running a 2010 Christmas contest - 2 great prizes for NC gun people. Check out our Youtube channel for more info.

  • (Song) Colt 45. 2 zig zag, baby thats all we need, we can go to the park after dark, smoke that tumble of weed.

  • i want a gun so badley :D

  • great job think you can do it for other guns

  • @bazookaboy0987 Most of the guns have same operation like this, so why do you want for other guns, as well?

  • @MrHansMachine

Nope. While I would love to be able to carry guns, I couldn't stand all the idiots who don't know what the internet is and those guys who are so fat that they need a motorized wheelchair to move around.

  • Now speed this up so the video lasts 1/4 of a second.

  • Garbage!

  • will it blend? that is the question.

  • The most overrated gun of all time.

  • @rice31254 dipshit

  • @rice31254

Why don't you try making a gun that will be extremely popular more than 100 years after you first made the prototype?

  • @zanuha

Have you ever fired a colt 45 in action?

It has a fucking huge recoil where even strong guys have trouble firing the gun with one hand. It isnt a shooting range where everything is controlled.

If you dont buy extra beavertails for the .45, 99% of the people using it will mess up their hands which will be bruised which means you have less strength to fire after a few mags.

I really wonder why people like the colt .45 so much.

    I'd prefer a Glock.

  • @rice31254

I haven't fired one, but it is a fact that the design is still popular after 100 years. Most new 1911s do have large beavertails, and it'd be pretty stupid to fire anything that isn't a .22 or .25 with one hand IMO. People like the 1911 for its classic, rugged looks and firepower, and 1911 guys don't trust always-cocked Glocks.

  • Fire one and you'll see the truth.

  • @rice31254

I'd love to, but the law makers are shitting on gun owners ńow here in Finland because some kid shot up his school a few years back. They're also trying to ban semiautomatics for some reason.

  • @zanuha

I think I've heard about that.

The same things happening here in America except their taking away bullets.

The lawmakers generalize on 1 person and never see that 98% of the gunowners love collecting guns.

  • simple yet brilliant. john browning was the man.

  • beautiful

  • What song did you use for back drop bro????

  • Really can it kill justin bieber? :D

  • my faurite gun of 30s and 40s maybe so 50s :)

  • cool

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLED!!1 ITS SOUNDS SO COOL!

  • how do u make these anims ? what program do u use ?

  • i see the force of the bullet pushes the slide back i always wondered how that worked thanks

  • guns are just an amazing thing

  • @shabam50000 OMG YES

  • yotube I need help, i feel this is a cool design but me and my father do not have the tools to cut like this I want to make an simpler airsoft gun with this type of design. can some one tell me how I could and how the sping at the top that hits the bullet works!!!

  • Hello, I have liked the video but queria to know with that he programmes you it have done. Thank you.

  • best fucking sidearm ever made! god bless america!

  • Colt 45 and two zig zags! baby thats all we need!

  • Shouldn't that second round stovepipe or at least FTF? haha j/k. sweet animation. 1911s forever!

  • which song is this? it apparently seems not to be "On My Way"... does anybody know the title? would be great! thanx beforehand

    regards epic

  • dude u suck

  • every pistol works like this -.-

    exept the P 08

  • it is one of the best inventions

  • hmmmm

mehanichs doesn't look to complicated i will try to make a gun home

  • @daliproject198

    this could be dangerous because,

if ANYTHING is wrong the whole gun will explode.

    we germans call it "Rahmensprengung"

  • @daliproject198

Hahahaha yeah make a homemade pistol and when it blows up in your hand we'll just call you "Lefty".

Hope you have an advanced degree in metallurgy.

  • Good animation.

  • Love this gun

  • So that what it look like

  • It's amazing how that little thing called a bullet can do so much damage.

  • does everything move backwards upon firing due to the cartridge simply obeying Newton's laws, exerting the same force both ways?

  • @spawnofwheezedog yes newtons third law every reaction imparts an equal and opposite reaction.... just like when you're caught staring at a girls chest, you can be sure that a slap will come as an opposite reaction.

  • @ThrowingItAway not me! ima bosss!

  • @ThrowingItAway FYI, Newton's third law of motion can not mathematically reflect your boob ogling scenario, making for a funny but bad example.

  • @ThrowingItAway agreed

  • @ThrowingItAway Not always.

  • @ThrowingItAway

But is it an equal reaction?

  • @ThrowingItAway could you explain to me pls what is the force that causes the slide to go back on every shot? i have seen that on AK for example theres a tube that conducts the high pressure gases to the back and that makes the thing go back and cycle.......but in the case of hand guns what makes the slide go back on every shot?what? or how? well the what i guess it would be the gases .....but how? i guess that would be the question.

    thanks,

  • @dozzy000 when the bullet is fired the gases push the bullet and the casing equally ( newtons third law) and thus the casing is pushed into the slide moving it backward, ejecting the casing and on the forward stroke the next round is loaded. There's a spring on the slide that is specifically made so that the slide moves just far enough back that the next round is loaded, thus reducing the force on your hand...

  • @ThrowingItAway oh, i see, well then thank you for clarifying that for me. thanks man.

  • @ThrowingItAway sir i do believe yo mean that every ACTION has an equal and opposite REACTION

  • @spawnofwheezedog yepp, whatr do you think recoil is, its the energy of the pullet acting upon you, and machine gun utilise this recoil

  • really a simple design

  • @max13328 Simple but effective

  • what is the name of the song

  • Would have been more complete if you had shown the side where the extractor is (right side). Now you don't see how the empty shell is extracted, you just see it eject. I'd like to see the extractor hooking the shell. Very nice animation tho.

  • @j24800

    That's what she said

  • Samuel Colt speaks to you, his chosen ones. You have been raised up from brutality, to kill the brutals who multiply and are legion. To this end Samuel Colt gave you the gift of the gun. The gun is good. The penis is evil. The penis shoots seeds, and makes new life to poison the earth with a plague of men, as once it was. But the gun shoots death, and purifies the earth of the filth of brutals. Go forth, and kill.

  • wtf?

  • @Makron5 i hope your kidding, cuz if your not, your messed up in the head.

  • Uh, that would be John Browning, not Samuel Colt...dimbulb

  • @BucksOwin The Sam Colt comment got me a death threat from Weisserwolf666 one time. All that for replacing Sam Colt with Zardoz.

  • @Makron5 Weisserwolf666 doesn't exist!

  • @saj12100 how so? Was he found out to be a troll account?

  • @Makron5 I dont know, wen i serchd his name there was nothing.

  • @Makron5 Great movie. Although...I was traumatized at the sight of Sean Connery in a red leather leotard O__O

  • FUCKING OATH.

  • FUCKING CHEESE

  • what program is this?

  • ........ Ok, this is a COLT45 but ummm

I still don't see why people say it has the "DYNAMITE TASTE".

  • Beautiful animation! What did you do this with, Maya? Max? AutoCAD? In any case, I must extend my compliments to the artist and animator. Well done!

  • What is the music ?

  • Yeah. Very well done.

  • >:] my plans r almost complete....

  • Lol!! xD

  • wheres the finger

  • wheres ur mum

  • One of the World's greatest guns.

  • weres the piston

  • he was talking about how it didnt show the trigger move back to show someone pulling it

  • what's the trigger even for?

  • im embarrassed for you

  • OMG,look simple isnt??

  • LOL, bitch fight hereXD

  • trigger movement? sear?

  • wow that is so simple

  • wow i never thought guns would be this simple

  • @eddy8496 yeah... simple

  • Hammer hits Firing Pin, pin hits primer in base of cartridge. Primer explodes. small primer explosion ignites power in shell casing. Expanding gases of exploding main powder charge pushes bullet out. Not quite a flint lock.

  • wow thanks for the description :D

  • Not quite the T-800 either.

  • Comment removed

  • how is the bullet launched out, is it just by the push of the hammer? or is there more to i pls answer

  • I think the hammer pushes that cylindrical thing in front of it which strikes the center of the shell (of the bullet) which I think is made of flint, creating sparks and igniting the powder in the shell which (due to pressure) pushes the bullet out.

There. Either I explained it properly or I just described a flintlock. O.o

  • @Zvesda good thinking thanks man

  • FAIL! god ur fucking dumb

  • u fail, im sorry but u epic fail

  • Comment removed

  • and ur an ignorant iditot, ive never even held a real gun before, its called video games and common knowledge, im not even old enough to be in the military or police force, lol dumbasss, and im not some dubass redneck either , your just an idiot! lol

  • says the person that brought up redneck out of nowhere. if u really had enuf 'common knowledge' then u wouldnt hav brought up a term that has nothing to do with this. LOL. i never called u a rednec
