You DID SAY it wrong on the second triangle but the "legs" (non-hypotenuse sides) of a 45-45-90 triangle ARE the same size. So your two 1's ARE the same length (even though they weren't quite drawn that way).
I was running out of characters, but what I meant at the end was what you said at :52-:53. Before putting any teaching video on, you should make sure it is done correctly.
