All that needs to happen for Nader to be our next (and best ever) President is that he be allowed to debate the corporate-controlled candidates (Obama/McCain) before a national audience, one a month until November. Too bad the corps and their candidates are too scared to take that challenge.
The Huffington Post has finally stopped doing a disservice to progressive readers by allowing Nader supporters to have a voice in supporting Nader being in a Presidential debate.

Nobody is entitled to anyone's vote. Why do all you Democrats think you're entitled to the votes that might go to Nader? How can you assume that those voters would vote for Obama if Nader didn't run? Do you think that by limiting my choices you can force me to accept a guy that voted for the Patriot Act, telecom immunity, or a bankruptcy bill written by credit card companies? Think again pal.
I agree with you for the most part but hear me out on this.
I live in California. I will be voting for Nader because I want independents to receive more federal funding(In addition to having the balls to tell it like it is). However, If I lived in a swing state, I'm sorry I would have to vote for Obama.
Not because he is the best candidate, but because I really REALLY can't take 4 more years of this neocon bullshit.
There's just no way our country will go from far left to far right in 1 elec
yo, mrcoldheart did you watch that whole interview? I belief if you do you'd find Nader was only saying the truth. the intercity getos on shytown are still run down slums. Obama hasn't brought any change to his own community.
jewy, ralph is not to blame, all the people who voted for gore should have voted nader - they are to blame, just ass all of the people who chose war mongering candidates this year over kucinich or ron paul. people need to wake up. we will have the same foreign policy under obama or mccain.
Mr. Obama, did you know about the $400,000,000 dollars approved by congressional leaders to support and arm al Qaeda linked groups to destabilize Iran? If you didn't, now you know. Do something about it if you are the man.
Nader is good to bring up the issues in the debate... but he needs to stay off the ballot! If it's possible for him to be in the debates and off the ballot I'm all for it! Otherwise, go away!
Once again, the Democratic nominee has turned his back on the people who gave him the nomination in order to suck up to those who won't vote for him anyway. Maybe we haven't suffered enough yet. It took a full blown depression in 1932. I will not be taken for granted. If that means voting for Nader, so be it.
I agree it should have been more specific like the response I gave to you. But it is vey true that Nader does offer a reversal in foreign policy in the Middle East, in being neutral, and being against premtive wars, and being against occupational foreig npolicy in the middle east. Only 4 candidates support the positions above: Nader Kucinich, Paul & Gravel. Nader is now the only candidate left that will end both the war in Iraq AND END THE OCCUPATION in Iraq.
Republicans and Democrats have decent videos. This is crap. An "No to nuclear".. That is a comment from ignorance. I could not, and will not, vote for an ignorant person.
The Safe Drinking Water Act, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), etc.
You can thank Nader for all of those. He did this when he was much much younger with much less power, so try to do some research instead of solely relying on the media for your opinions.
If Nader loses it's because of people like you. You would rather vote for someone like Obama, and get the illusion you are electing someone who will actually look out for you.
Obama is practically promising AIPAC he will go to war with Iran for them watch?v=LvDrYmGpoNs
Obama supports that crappy FISA bill, and the Reauth of the Patriot Act. He is owned.
If all the dumb asses on Huffpo Dailykos and DFA would pull their heads out, we might actually have a chance.
I completely agree. If the so called liberal media would stop denying progressive readers the information and choice of voting Ralph Nader, instad or impossing Obama whilst recognising he is a corporate centrist Demohawk, then we stand a good chance.
That said, the Huffington Post has finally printed an article supporting Nader. It's entitled:
" The Other N-Word"
by Alison Kilkenny
Please share article to all progressives everyone.
I would be calling Ralph Nader a hero here in Britain as oppossed to treating his name like an unspoken swear word or security threat.
Ralph Nader is the best US President America & the world never had- YET.
We desperately need him in the debates. This election was suppossed to be the turning point & the 2 mainstream candidates want to continue occupation in Iraq and continue& expand the war on terror in afghanistan & Pakistan.
First of all, I was replying to your previous comment about change which did not mention his imminent loss OR poor video quality, so that does not even relate.
But I'll reply anyway; quality of video production requires proficient funding which is a little hard when the media almost always refuses to even mention Nader. His campaign is not 100% about winning, either; it's about awareness of the flaws of mainstream candidates and corporate corruption.
I actually like Nader's youtube videos, because they are informative, and straight to the point. But the Nader campaign also has very exciting, creative and still issue based youtube videos.
If you didn't like this video, watch Nader youtube video entitled:
"1984 Knocking On Your Door - FISA - Telecom Immunity Bill"
It's based on what the book Nader refernced in this video of George Orwell's 1984.
However you recive the message, I'm sure you also are against FISA
Please show me evidence that real policy change in the middle east is 'on the table' for Obama or McCain.
All I've seen is dual dancing.Obama used to impress me with "get out of Iraq" rhetoric. But, how many bases will he leave there? One,sixty, two hundred?I want ZERO.Also,he says that he'll act unilaterally against "insurgents" in Pakistan.
This sounds like the same old policy of intervention into the irrationalities of middle eastern politics that we simply don't and shouldn't understand.
Nader don't fuck this up for Obama! Obama has been very clear on all those issues, and his stance has not flip flopped. This video is sneaky and deceiving.
"Meanwhile, after calling the North American Free Trade Agreement a "big mistake" during the primary season and saying it should be renegotiated, Obama has recently toned down his rhetoric and emphasized his record of support for free trade. He also angered many union and liberal activists by naming a chief economic advisor who has extolled the virtues of globalization...
...Facing criticism that he may be too willing to negotiate with Iran, Obama in a recent speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee took a tough line on protecting Israel against Iran."
LA Times June 28th 2008, "Obama is shifting toward the center"
"Hey the blood of 4200 American soldiers are on your hands Nader " How do you figure? In the 2000 election all of the independent candidates had enough votes to of turned the election in favor of Gore, Nader was the only one that did far better then the rest.
"Nader is gonna ruin it for OBAMA.... WHY IS HE SUCH A DOUCHEBAG! "
Ruin it for Obama? Really? I was blinded by Obama, and then I woke up and realized he is no better then McCain. Also since when has having a choice been wrong?
Bush didn't run a campaign in the year 2000 about wanting to fight a war on teror. According to Ron Paul who has always been against Bush, he's happy to say that the idea of having a policy of not policing the world and nation building is a platform Bush ran on in 2000 and never implemented. So you can't blame Nader.
Nader supports the troop by being the only candidate left both in 04' & 08' in wanting to end Iraq war, AND END THE OCCUPATION OF IRAQ unlike Obama 2 get them out of daner.
First of all, how could anybody have POSSIBLY known that Bush was going to invade Afghanistan after 9/11 (and that 9/11 would happen) and create a case for invading Iraq?!?
Second of all, how can you POSSIBLY know that Gore wouldn't have done the SAME things? How can you know what Gore would have done?!?
Third, Gore won anyways.
Fourth, blame the people who voted for Nader, and only them. It's them you're after. All 3 million of them.
Just speaking to your question about Gore doing the "same things." I think most people have the intellectual honesty to admit that Al Gore would've never gone into Iraq. I think that's the reason why the # of people who voted for Nader went from 3 million in 2000 to 400,000 in '04. Even accounting for the fewer ballots he was able to get on, you can see a demonstrable difference in support after Bush began the 2 wars. Take FL as an example: in 2000 Nader got 97,488 votes & in '04 he got 32,971.
1- google Project for a New American Century, AIPAC, Council on Foreign Relations, Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, etc
2- agree with you, but Gore would have been pro-war
3- agree with you
4- 19,000,000 registered voters in November 2000 didn't vote at all, i THINK you might have won if you had convinced a few of them. Not only that, 12% of registered Democrats in Florida voted for Bush
talk about "weird, twisted and incorrect logic..."
Please don't throw him away again. There's a bigger movement than ever thanks to youtube to allow us to overcome the media. We need to get into the debates & on those ballots which are delibertate obstacles in our way, but this is going to be a bipartisan movement for Nader thanks to Ron Paul, Kucinich and Gravel as they all stood for the same foreign policy.
Not only can we cannot afford McCain who'll continue the Iraq war, but we can't afford Obama either who'll continue occupation in Iraq.
Nader is Fillet Mignon in a restaurant you will never be able to afford to eat in. Dreaming about it will just frustrate you while you starve and realize that you have eaten pb & j sandwiches while you could have had hamburger.
1.)Not using US tax payers money to fund Israel's military annually to pander for votes from AIPAC is a major reversal
2.)Giving constructive crism to ally Israel by opppenly critising their oppression of gaza whilst also critising Palestinian rocket attacks is a change in being neutral, open & honest 2 work 4 peaceful 2 state solution
3.)Ending not only war in Iraq, but ALSO ENDING THE OCCUPATION in Iraq is a distinct from Obama & McCain
Hope that Nader makes it against the two bs parties that have fucked this country. Now RP and Gravel are out too. The only one left running that we can count on is Nader! Go Nader!
Isn't it ironic that most voters will vote for the candidate who has given them the false impression that they will support the positions which Nader actually does support?
I'll likely be voting for Nader in '08. As a Ron Paulite, I could vote for Bob Barr, but I don't like that he doesn't believe in global warming. I also strongly believe in universal healthcare, which Ron Paul doesn't. However, I do believe that a Paulian true free-market solution would decrease the costs of healthcare dramatically. I'm a sensible conservative, and therefore I greatly admire Kucinich and Nader, though I'm more closely a Ron Paulian conservative. Thanks Ralph, for being an option.
McBush & Nobama are one in the same. They are politics as usual. The monopoly of the two party system is corrupt and filling peoples heads with lie's. An example would be the blaming of the so called third parties for being the reason why a candidate did not get elected into office. Besides that a HUGE number of Americans DONT VOTE and I mean HUGE.
As a member of the working class I owe no allegiance to imperial war parties that undermine my health and safety through aggressive neo-liberal free trade policies.
I pretty much see the U$A under either of their control screwing up the world for the next 100 years then falling. America will be gone all thanks to those who voted for this empire. I admire Nader for his courage and I might vote for him, but my vote is my voice and you will see me in the streets at the DNC.
the bilderberg group stands behind these politicians from both sides and this whole election thing is just a circus to make us believe there`s a choice and democracy, but no, it is a bilderberg group set up. please america pay attention, the bilderberg group is something very real and means no good with you or your family, killing you and your love ones is only a side effect for them to achieve there goals. dont believe your tv, get informed, look up the Biderberg group
You can vote for Peter Pan if you like. But only two people -- John McBush and Obama -- have a reasonable chance of getting elected. Nader is a Trojan Horse hoping to throw yet another election to the GOP.
Your vote is your choice -- and if you really want to help elect McBush by wasting your vote on Nader, that's your choice.
In 2000, Albert Gore couldn't even carry his home state of Tennessee, any of a number of 3rd party candidates gathered enough votes in Florida including Buchanan. It was Albert Gore's race to lose.....Why haven't the Dems acted on the most impeachable President in History? Why has Obama voted to continue the Bush-Iraq agenda?(I like the sound of "McBush")
Al Gore couldn't win his home state. So? Since when is that a prerequisite for the job? If Nader hadn't run, the numbers are clear: Gore would have been President and 4000+ Americans and 1,000,000+ Iraqis would be alive today.
We haven't impeached Bush and Cheney because we don't have enough votes in Congress. If Nader and his dupes had worked to elect Democrats instead of undermining them, we wouldn't have had to deal with the issue because Bush wouldn't have been in office to begin with.
Fail. It should be blatantly obvious that people mention Gore losing his home state because it is a prime example of his inability to nail down any real support from democrats.
Actually, THE perfect example of that would be Florida, where over 200,000 registered democrats voted for Bush. Or you could look at the 600,000 registered democrats who couldn't even be bothered to get their lazy asses to the ballots AT ALL.
Democrats need to quit their whining and man up. Nader didn't cost them shit.
Mr. Obama, stop the war with Iran before it starts if you are the man! You know better that you will not be able to do any change at home if we end up borrowing and spending another $2,000,000,000 dollars a day to support another war for the Oil companies with no end in sight. Affordable heath care will not compensate for $12 gas if Iran was attacked. Stop being a politician and start being a leader!
My problem is that Nader just shows up every four years to announce his candidacy and what he stands for. Where is he the rest of the time? He doesn't do anything of merit now. He was great in the seventies as a consumer advocate but that was thirty years ago.
I guess the blame game is the easiest game in town. But, gee, where were the Dems on Iraq? Lockstep, my friend. They've had time to filibuster in the Senate, and vote to cut off funds in the House. The Dems control the legislature, where have they been?
Nader is the ONLY candidate remaining amoungst few candidates(Kucinich, Paul & Gravel)that commit 2 ending the war AND END THE OCCUPATION in Iraq, which 70% of Iraqi's support & most misinformed Americans think they're voting 4 with Obama.SO if you trully want 2 end the ocupation in Iraq 2 take the soldiers out & prevent more civilans killed by insurgents against occupation, then vote 4 Nader or u'll be blamed by your logic.
Stop limiting our choices and your own. Ralph Nader and Bobb Barr are also running. ANd Every voter has the choice between a candidate continuing 2 wars (mccain), a candidate whi will continue the war in Afgahnistan but WILL CONTINUE OCUPATION IN IRAQ (obama), and a candidate that will end the Iraq war and end the ocupation in Iraq (nader).
Accept responsibility for your own vote in continuing occupation in Iraq when 70% of Iraqi's want them out and target them.
A vote for either McCain or Obama sends more Americans to their deaths. Obama wants to EXPAND the military, when we already have a larger military than the whole rest of the world combined. Obama only wants to pull some troops out of Iraq, not all. He is beginning to turn even farther right for the general election campaign. His AIPAC speech is evidence of this, as well as his recent vote on telecom immunity and bowing out of public financing. Simply, the corporations have bought Obama off.
you can explain to 70% of Iraqi's against the occupation, and the US troops that are in danger against the resistance of their presence in Iraq even if they are trying to help,
why you KNOWINGLY voted for a candidate that will continue the occupation in Iraq by voting Obama when you had the chance to end it.
Supporters of Nader united with suporters of Paul, Kucinich and Gravel are not responsible as we did the right thing in supporting the only candidate left that will end it.
Thanks. I have bookmarked the site and will give it a fair shake. I believe Nader is a good man but I don't think he is a good candidate. He does force the conversation from pasters and the other crap, though. Peace out.
I like Nader, because he tells it like it is. Call him what you want, but the closest you'll ever get to a politician telling the truth is Nader... .probably because he's (technically) not one. :)
Please go away, you narcissistic fool. Your attempts at running for president become more sad and embarrassing each election season, and at this point you are only hurting, not helping, the argument that America needs to break out of the two-party system (which it does).
gonzo, you call Nader a narcissistic fool but if you really look at him you would notice he is probably the best example of what the exact opposite would be. Oh, and how would narrowing the choices help break out of the two-party system?
Why there is so much anger about Nader's run! To have a democratic system, there must be real choice. Why should I care which one will be in the White house if neither Obama nor McCain address the issues that are important to me? By having another choice, at least, I can express my dissatisfaction by my vote. And that is the Democracy.
Make sure your state has Nader on the ballot. You need to petition for Nader to be on the ballot in all 50 states (an obstacle only reserved 4 independent candidates) within a certain deadline (some have passed already!!!). Go to his website & go to the TAK ACTION tab. Click on your state & contact the volunteer organiser to obtain a petition form. The websites posted on my youtube channel if you need it. Spread the word. Make sure you'r enot disenfranchised from voting for Nader.
What we can't affort now is more wars, more military spending adding to debt and more loss of lives from troops to civilians.
Nader is the ONLY candidate left that will end the occupation in Iraq not Obama who will redploy troops to Afghanistan & maintain occupation in Iraq, whilst McCain will burn the candle bothe ends by continuing 2 wars.
Please reconsider by watching youtube videos entitled:

Nader, we don't need another spoiler. This form of Viral ad-campaigning, will not work. It is a free country but you are a spoiler. Do you think you'll be taking any votes from McCain?
I doubt it. Maybe you and Ron Paul can be fail buddies this election eh? Give up the time for third parties in America hasn't come yet. I agree with your ideals to certain extent, but a vote for you is a wasted vote. Obama's policies match with me better.
Of course, I will never understand how Americans are so fed up with their spineless politicians and then fail to support the ones that do have some back bone. Oh well, I hope the people in our country wakes up sooner or later.
No one said you had to vote 4 him. That doesn't mean you should deny anyone else votting for him or running. THis is suppossed to be a democracy and elections are suppossed to be about choices. It says something Democrats are threatned by the amount of support Nader can get when he is unjustly excluded from debates and the ballot in every state , unless we petion.

Nader, get the fuck outta here. You were awesome until 2000 when your involvement in the election got us saddled with the Bush criminals for eight years. Your intentional run as a spoiler candidate with no hope of winning the election shows that you have no conscience, that you do NOT believe what you say, and that you are just another arrogant multimillionaire interested in fame and personal power. Go do something useful like protest faulty gas tanks.
Nader - There is no difference between you and Bush-McCain. You get your financial backing from the same people and advance the same agenda: To elect a Republican President, and all that follows from that first calamity.
The notion that Obama is progressive enough to garner so much as a second glance from the vast majority of Nader supporters is not only laughable, but incredibly naive and arrogant on the part of democrats.
People will die because of your arrogant self-aggrandizing desire to be president. I used to appreciate you, Nader, now I just get sick when I look at you. If we end up with more neo-con regime because of your BS campaign I think you should apologize to the American people. In your misguided attempt to make this a better country you have made it inexplicably worse. RETIRE!!!!!
Die because of Nader!Corection died due 2 Bush & his supportes including more registered Dems. who voted 4 Bush than Nader in 2000.
You're misinformed.
You do realise that Ralph Nader is the ONLY candidate left out of the few (Paul, Kucinich, Gravel) that will not only end the Iraq war, but will END THE OCCUPATION IN IRAQ.
Obama like Kerry runs on maintaing occupation which 70% Iraqis' opposse.
OMG what planet are you living on?? Do you think the general public even has any IDEA who Barr is? He gets zero coverage on the news, especially fox which is what mccain's people are watching.
Ralph Nader please leave us alone. We all know you're well funded by republicans so you draw the liberal votes away from the democrats. You do this every election cycle and its screwing things up! Run for senate or house first, do well there and then MAYBE we'll consider you.
Well you're right, Republicans do support Nader. They are mainly supporters of Ron Paul. And these 2 in particular have proved a a threat to both parties.
Ralph, the only way that you could get our interest is if you were endorsed by Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich. Although most of us over at Digg are young, we aren't stupid. Both of these men got our attention because they lead by example. They don't have to record internet videos begging for support. We discover them, because they are truly outstanding individuals. That said, I must admit that I really don't know much about you, but I'll read your Wikipedia entry tomorrow just to be fair.
Nader, Kucinich, Paul, and Gravel all have the same foreign policy and if their supporters united we could pull an upset against the 2 corupt parties. We're not a minority, but a silenced majority. All are the only candidates that stood 4:
-reducing military sppending
-ending not only Iraq war, but ending the occupation in Iraq
-no threat of war with Iran
-no funding foreign coutries & factions military aid that backfires on national security (including none 2 AIPAC)
He hasn't got a single chance to be in a debate yet so the national audience don't get to see him. Please look up the youtube videos I have on my favourite where I've got the Meet the Pres Interview with Ralph Nader both in 2004 and in 2008 where he is incredibly consistent and principled.
If you watch the video entitled "Nader 3" from is MTP interview in 2004 you'll think it's Ron Paul talking.
Whether they endorse or not,Kucinich,Gravel Nader & Gravel supporters can unite in common cause.
You want 4 more years of Repugnatism then vote for him you stupid asshole.I don't care if Obama has 2 heads and eats small children,he's better than the SoB we have in the white house now thanks to this vain idiot.
Pssh. Nader is the biggest scam in politics. He shows up every four years to scam the same group of people out of their money, then after he loses the election, he disappears and does nothing for another 4 years. Can anyone point me to *anything* this man has actually done?
And what is so bad about nuclear power? It's safe and clean.
Ralph Nader is a good guy, I think this is the year we see the 3rd party candidates and the independents start getting signifigant votes and total 10% of all votes or more.
I wouldn't say it's better than solar, but better than fossil fuels for sure. Don't Dems always say voting is compromise, yet when there is one issue Nader supports and you don't you shrug him off?
Watch Dr. Phil Friday Sept 26th. Ralph Nader is on.

@ MrXfromPlanetX,
I completely agree.

I know. It's ridiculous.
Nader will end the war on terror
0613162k 3 years ago
First of all, I was replying to your previous comment about change which did not mention his imminent loss OR poor video quality, so that does not even relate.
But I'll reply anyway; quality of video production requires proficient funding which is a little hard when the media almost always refuses to even mention Nader. His campaign is not 100% about winning, either; it's about awareness of the flaws of mainstream candidates and corporate corruption.
doorag65 3 years ago
Hey, we did OK on video, and we didn't have any funding.
Most of the stuff from the Nader campaign, video wise, is good. This one, not so much.
gravel2008 3 years ago
Yes, it's not fair that people attack the videos when they are exceptionally good when you take into account the lack of funding.
doorag65 3 years ago
@ IdleGod,
I actually like Nader's youtube videos, because they are informative, and straight to the point.

What about the LA Times piece?
"Meanwhile, after calling the North American Free Trade Agreement a "big mistake" during the primary season and saying it should be renegotiated, Obama has recently toned down his rhetoric and emphasized his record of support for free trade. He also angered many union and liberal activists by naming a chief economic advisor who has extolled the virtues of globalization...

Nader is responsible for the death of every American in Iraq.
Ask Nader to repeat is 2000 campaign slogan...There is no difference between Bush and Gore...
How wrong this asshole was, how so terribly wrong.
How many times has Nader been to Iraq to support the soldiers he sent there?
rationalbeats 3 years ago
Bush didn't run a campaign in the year 2000 about wanting to fight a war on teror. According to Ron Paul who has always been against Bush, he's happy to say that the idea of having a policy of not policing the world and nation building is a platform Bush ran on in 2000 and never implemented. So you can't blame Nader.
Nader supports the troop by being the only candidate left both in 04' & 08' in wanting to end Iraq war, AND END THE OCCUPATION OF IRAQ unlike Obama 2 get them out of daner.
0613162k 3 years ago 2
What weird, twisted and incorrect logic...
All 3 million of them.
aewester 3 years ago
Just speaking to your question about Gore doing the "same things." I think most people have the intellectual honesty to admit that Al Gore would've never gone into Iraq. I think that's the reason why the # of people who voted for Nader went from 3 million in 2000 to 400,000 in '04. Even accounting for the fewer ballots he was able to get on, you can see a demonstrable difference in support after Bush began the 2 wars. Take FL as an example: in 2000 Nader got 97,488 votes & in '04 he got 32,971.
iliveinletters 3 years ago
1- google Project for a New American Century, AIPAC, Council on Foreign Relations, Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, etc
2- agree with you, but Gore would have been pro-war
3- agree with you
4- 19,000,000 registered voters in November 2000 didn't vote at all, i THINK you might have won if you had convinced a few of them. Not only that, 12% of registered Democrats in Florida voted for Bush
talk about "weird, twisted and incorrect logic..."

Thanks Ralph, for being an option.

jewy 3 years ago
In 2000, Albert Gore couldn't even carry his home state of Tennessee, any of a number of 3rd party candidates gathered enough votes in Florida including Buchanan. It was Albert Gore's race to lose.....Why haven't the Dems acted on the most impeachable President in History? Why has Obama voted to continue the Bush-Iraq agenda?(I like the sound of "McBush")
BeauJames59 3 years ago 2
Al Gore couldn't win his home state. So? Since when is that a prerequisite for the job? If Nader hadn't run, the numbers are clear: Gore would have been President and 4000+ Americans and 1,000,000+ Iraqis would be alive today.
We haven't impeached Bush and Cheney because we don't have enough votes in Congress. If Nader and his dupes had worked to elect Democrats instead of undermining them, we wouldn't have had to deal with the issue because Bush wouldn't have been in office to begin with.
jewy 3 years ago

You know better that you will not be able to do any change at home if we end up borrowing and spending another $2,000,000,000 dollars a day to support another war for the Oil companies with no end in sight. take care!
BeauJames59 3 years ago 2
Nobody said the Democrats were perfect. If Gore had been President, there never would have been an Iraq War resolution to vote on.
Nader is responsible for Bush, therefore the war. He has a lot to atone for.
jewy 3 years ago
Nader is the ONLY candidate remaining amoungst few candidates(Kucinich, Paul & Gravel)that commit 2 ending the war AND END THE OCCUPATION in Iraq, which 70% of Iraqi's support & most misinformed Americans think they're voting 4 with Obama.SO if you trully want 2 end the ocupation in Iraq 2 take the soldiers out & prevent more civilans killed by insurgents against occupation, then vote 4 Nader or u'll be blamed by your logic.
Look up youtube video called:
"Amy puts Obama in the hot-seat!!"
0613162k 3 years ago
Obama says we'll be out of Iraq in 4 years. McCain says 100 years.
Those are your choices. If you make the best the enemy of the good, you will be putting the blood of Americans and Iraqis on YOUR hands.
jewy 3 years ago
Stop limiting our choices and your own. Ralph Nader and Bobb Barr are also running. ANd Every voter has the choice between a candidate continuing 2 wars (mccain), a candidate whi will continue the war in Afgahnistan but WILL CONTINUE OCUPATION IN IRAQ (obama), and a candidate that will end the Iraq war and end the ocupation in Iraq (nader).
Accept responsibility for your own vote in continuing occupation in Iraq when 70% of Iraqi's want them out and target them.
0613162k 3 years ago
And the fact remains the same.
Every vote cast for a candidate other than Obama is a vote to send more young Americans and Iraqis to their deaths.
You may not understand that today (amazing after 8 years of George Bush), but one day you will. Let's hope you've made the right decision.
jewy 3 years ago
A vote for either McCain or Obama sends more Americans to their deaths. Obama wants to EXPAND the military, when we already have a larger military than the whole rest of the world combined. Obama only wants to pull some troops out of Iraq, not all. He is beginning to turn even farther right for the general election campaign. His AIPAC speech is evidence of this, as well as his recent vote on telecom immunity and bowing out of public financing. Simply, the corporations have bought Obama off.
f1buttonfan 3 years ago
@ jewy,
you can explain to 70% of Iraqi's against the occupation, and the US troops that are in danger against the resistance of their presence in Iraq even if they are trying to help,
why you KNOWINGLY voted for a candidate that will continue the occupation in Iraq by voting Obama when you had the chance to end it.
Supporters of Nader united with suporters of Paul, Kucinich and Gravel are not responsible as we did the right thing in supporting the only candidate left that will end it.

Why there is so much anger about Nader's run! To have a democratic system, there must be real choice.

Great, thanks for the info. I'll have to give "Nader 3" a watch when I've got a few minutes.

Pssh. Nader is the biggest scam in politics. He shows up every four years to scam the same group of people out of their money, then after he loses the election, he disappears and does nothing for another 4 years. Can anyone point me to *anything* this man has actually done?
And what is so bad about nuclear power? It's safe and clean.
ssanders6 3 years ago
I'm a conservative (the old kind) but I'd vote for Nader over Obama any day. I don't understand your position on nuclear energy though.

Ralph Nader is a good guy, I think this is the year we see the 3rd party candidates and the independents start getting signifigant votes and total 10% of all votes or more.

Opposing nuclear energy is such a cliche'.
p33n0rinc 3 years ago
I have to wonder why you are against nuclear power? It's completely clean, and actually very safe, despite what you've seen in the movies.

I voted for you eight years ago, I want my vote back. But seriously, I wish you luck but this time I am going for Obama.

I wouldn't say it's better than solar, but better than fossil fuels for sure. Don't Dems always say voting is compromise, yet when there is one issue Nader supports and you don't you shrug him off?
Yourbike 3 years ago
I don't know...should I vote for Nader, or Bob Barr, or write in Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton...?
Help me choose the right one!! Which one will save the country!?!?!?
