  • is there really a lawsuit. I really wish they(makers of zinda) pay a laaaaage sum for ruining the master piece:-)

  • after rippingoff english movies, indians have now started to copy Korean movies. and it is terrible . for ppl like me who wanted to get away from the trash Indian industry was producing. coz they anage to make a ess of anything they put their hands on. be it copy of old boy or my sassy girl. they should write their own stuff.

  • one more great act by Dashing Sanjay Dutt

  • this is a blatant plagiaristic ripoff of Oldboy, anyone who is involved in making this movie should rot in hell

  • lol this is hilarious stuff

they copied everything from oldboy... and every part they copied are pathetic

  • behenchoddd hahhaha

  • What I admire about Oldboy is its avoidance of all the clichés of the prison movie and the revenge movie. Dae-su is a tragic hero; we learn to care about him precisely because the story isn't angling for our sympathy. That makes what happens to him all the more horrible. The most harrowing scene in the film is where, in a cruel reversal of Mido's prayer, he's the one who ends up on his knees, begging for mercy, barking like a dog. It's such a powerful moment. And Zinda? Cardboard cutout.

  • What the hell is taking the lawsuit so long? We all know this is a copy of Oldboy, The fans know it, the directors of this crap probably knows it, why can't the bastard who made this remake own up to his clear act of plagiarism. Jesus Christ!

  • Absolutely awful. They even stole him throwing the tray..

They missed so many points of the scene. Oh Dae Su's prison is supposed to look like a comfortable hotel room and not a dank room like that. The fact that it looks halfway decent and still drives him mad is part of the sadistic nature of it.

  • Absolutely right. It's not meant to be a dank prison cell. Actually, if you compare the coped scenes with Oldboy, you can see how tightly-directed are the latter. Here, every aspect is painfully telegraphed, and overlong to boot. What I like about Oldboy is the respect Park Chan-wook has for the audience: things that can be explained visually aren't expounded in dialogue.

  • Old Boy is much better than this! This looks pathetic if you compare this to Old Boy's scene.

  • I have this intense feeling of déjà vu... 0_o

  • good one but u gotta watch the real one (old boy) The korean movie

  • classic performance
