Stupid Kansas City southern they don't want to make changes for whatever reason and they refuse to listen to the mayor of Laredo even though he's trying to talk with them to get them going but they won't listen to him. Guess what, he was an FBI agent before he became the mayor and he's an awesome man ad for some of those KCS people who don't know shit to shine o la!

First train was a loaded grain going to Mexico, the second was an empty coal that picked up engines at Wade, Ar. The third is a CKCWE. It will set out the middle DP at Wade, Ar. Distributive Power is used between Pittsburg, Ks. and DeQueen Ar. The DP is set out at Wade and picked back up by Northbound trains. Due to a shortage of power sometimes a light engine move is called to expedite them north quicker.

well also, what i meant to say is I am a huge fan of mid train helpers... so much better than running them on the rear only.. SP did it best over the Loop in the 70's and 80's... I like KCS's style as well!

Where is this mountain dist located where they run helpers? I thought KCS ran on all level track?

Nice!, yea I just picked up a DVD recorded in 1988.. good stuff. i did KCS.. not so much the grey paint scheme, but the old white one and the new southern one are really cool! i'm a huge SD40 fan so any railroad that still runs some are ok in my book....
