  • Your hair looks really nice straight

  • @daewon07 thanks!

  • Hi,

Thanks for your videos, I think I've been suffering with hocd for a long time, and I'm hoping to start cbt soon,

I apologize if this seems like an inappropriate comment, but I find you really attractive..., (which is ironic given my bouts of hocd!)

anyway, thanks again for the posts,

    Best wishes from Scotland,

  • @garydrumsgardner thanks for the kind words! glad you like my videos! :)

  • All the well-known OCD specialists in New Jersey don't take health insurance.

  • @akear i know! its so unfortunate how mental healthcare is in this country....I was having the hardest time finding someone in CA who accepted insurance. Finally did though, but i realize its not like that everyone. i wasnt having much luck finding ones from ocd websites. for me, it was word of mouth and hours of googling. if its something you really want to try, dont give up!

  • I am learning that Ambien just slows the mind down effecting severe ocd symptons for a few hours.

  • @akear amien is not meant to be taken for OCD so please be careful. some people i know who have taken ambien have suffered some tragic side effects.

  • It is strange the effect Ambien has on the mind. In about 15 minutes a feeling of well being comes over you and your OCD symptons get about 50% better. SSRIs work poorly for the most part for OCD, with a 55% success rate. Even though it is temporary (4 hours) Ambien almost whips out OCD. It is hard to find a doctor that will recommend ambien for OCD treatment. Xanax is not bad either, but stay the hell away from abilifty and Zoloft!. Not only are SSRi's ineffective they are also dangerous.

    .

  • Zolpidem (Ambien) hey. i am an ocd patient too...suffering one hell of anxiety. obsessins compulsions....there is a medicion Zolpidem (Ambien)..it called zolpidem in my country..its salt is ambien..for my brothers and sisters who are in various countries...it really relaxes and normalises u for some time...no medicine works for me like this..please try this..its an ordinary medicine for anxiety and sleeping but it really works...for those who need further help email me @ahmedjaved_45@yahoo.com

  • @GODISONEism thanks for your comment! i have never tried ambien, but my friends who have do not like it very much, but medicines work differently for everyone. ambien is a pretty serious drug. take care!

  • this girl goes to her therapist and says "i've got OCD."

the Doc asks, "What are you obsessed with?"

the girl says "I've got OCD."

  • you have a similarity with celine dion :)

  • your hair look really nice in this video

  • @Cizza225 thanks :)

  • I absolutely loathe shows like "Hoarders" and "Obsessed". They might as well call those types of shows "Freak Show of the Week" due to how some of the people are portrayed. They make it seem like OCD can be "cured" in a short period of time. If the patient they are following doesn't make a significant turnaround during the scheduled production time, they "failed"--totally their fault too.... Makes me angry.

P.S. I accidentally thumbs-downed two comments by mistake.

  • @TheMoney28 i totally agree! a councilor once told me that the bootcamp style of therapy tends to help people in the short term, but they relapse pretty soon much of the time. take care!

  • @TheMoney28

amen ^^ couldnt have sed it better

  • Thanks for posting my friend.. Glad to hear you are feeling better from your ocd through therapy!

I currently havnt been to a therapist yet, just load myself up with high doses of benzodipines every day to help. But it is not the answer, thats forsure. Il look into a therapist soon.

    Thanks

    Linol Anderson

  • @TheAlienContactee i hear ya. benzos really seemed to take the edge off on a day to day. i became dependent though, so no more for me. will do a video on that soon! take care!

  • If you go to Therapick you can watch videos of therapists - you can even specially search for therapists who specialize in OCD in your area.

  • @intestines cool good to know!
