@Phiterify a lot bro! but for me its okay... i use the full level option activated, because the pads become "softer" and i dont need pad sensitivity...
@b00b00X3 you mean an akai mpk61 and cubase? first: you have to connect your midi keyboard via usb (dont need to be connected to wallsocket at least that you use it via MIDI cable) then you have to open cubase or your DAW... then check that the audio driver workd correctly (if you use asio or anything) and you are ready to go (in case if you use fl studio you have to go to options/midi settings and "turn on" the akai mpk61)
@b00b00X3 i forgot to say... this type of keyboards are midi controllers, they need a source to sound... cubase comes with some vst (sounds) but i dont like them... you have to download some vsti (vst instruments) and then you will have some piano sonds, or synths, or drums! they work inside of your daw
@SirPrem8 thanks :D. If you are talking about the sounds (sorry but i dont know what its the meaning of sound fonts), the vsts that im using are sylenth1, nexus, taupro (bass) and my own sounds for the drums :D
@xjevxbz Yes that is what I meant, the VST's, lol. Wow thankyou for your help. I have been looking for some good vst's to use to make beats. Keep up the great work :)
@909Thumper909 i have to quantize because i dont have an interfase, i only use my integrated soundcard... i have a lot of latency, including when i use asio 4 all man! i have too much latency...
dont has built-in sounds, only sends the signal to the pc or a rack that im pressing a key... for the sounds im using a lot of plugins in my pc (VST instruments... around 500 GB of sounds) and its cost around 600 dollars (in my country)
u can use a midi controller keyboard with fl studio, cubase, nuendo, etc BUT REMEMBER: MIDI CONTROLLER = no built in sound... u have to use it with a pc!
if u can start to making music, u can buy a cheaper midi controler and fl

What any programs can you use to make a beat?
ZMKata 8 months ago
@ZMKata if you want to make beats, u can start with Fruity loops studio, its much more easy to learn on it than in cubase (now im using cubase)
on youtube are a lot of tutorials to learn how to make beats
