  • politicians get millions from special interest groups. These special interest groups influence the decisions that the politicians make. Instead of serving the people, these politicians serve the special interests. It's shady business for a corporation to try and bribe a politician, but ultimately, it is the politician who should be blamed for doing the corporations dirty work. I'd like to see an America where politicians make decisions that are based on what's best for America & not just the 1%

  • no more money rule go occupy

  • Signs all over the streets that say "Debt is Slavery" and "End corporate greed" And people holding up the flag of Corporate America, and you have the nerve to say we don't know what we want!!?!? Fucking moron... Open your eyes... Death to the Corporations!!

  • afther all this time we know people are upset

but there is no one who knows why all those people are there yeah there un happy but why

what can we do about it no one knows and untill we know people are doing this 4 nothing !

also a lot of just come for the'kick' of a riot

i know cuse i saw it in holland people that show up at every martch for what ever reason and thats why a lot of of people say this is bull shit but its not it needs a leader and 1 reason and 1 solution then people will listen

  • thirteen people who voted for this video are political.

  • I'm all for civil disobedience in a democracy. But it wasn't intended to be a lifestyle. Looking around at the protests and protesters, I see a lot of people caught up in "the movement." There are plenty of ways to use that energy to benefit yourself and others. And I'm talking as a middle age, moderate male. If you're targeting your message at bankers, they never listened. If you're targeting your message at mainstream America, I'm it. And you're losing the credibility battle.

  • it's very important that the world wakes up!! so many problems, which aren't noticed!! acta, sopa, pipa, social disparity, racism... we need more control by the earths population... stand up :D

  • I find the Occupy Wall Street org. very important - finally people realized that capitalism is destroying our world.

    ACT TODAY!

  • We really enjoyed your film. Check out ours about the Occupy Wall Street movement! Hope to get some feedback from you.

  • What we have to do is create an ALTERNATIVE SYSTEM that people want to belong to.

We have to focus on regional communities, not support the big transnational companies, quit using oil, show people that love, healthy food, social contacts, sport and self sufficiency is what really makes people happy.

Consuming has only minor effects on peoples happiness!!

  • All revolutions devour their own children

  • @arthur131313 Google Revolutionary War. Google Gandhi. Google Martin Luther King Jr. "Every generation needs a new revolution." -Thomas Jefferson

  • These people are retarded. Large corporations create jobs! Yeah lets knock them down a notch so that hundreds of people are left jobless and starving. Half of the people do not even know why they are protesting all they did was throw blame around. We should be protesting Obama for increasing our debt exponentially not the people who create jobs. Sure some of them may be corrupt but corporations are not the issue. These people need to get a life and focus on something more important

  • You are the retarded one..

And you obviously believe Obama has the power.. he is a corporate puppet..

  • @MarkHorp well said my friend

  • @MarkHorp ... whatever all liberals like to do is throw blame around and host protests that accomplish nothing

  • @FreeF10w

The fact that you try to label people shows you do not know jack shit..

  • @FreeF10w like working like a slave for the corporations who actually run the governmment and possess the greatest amount of money in the world and still want more!!!!??

sure, let me just live complete isolation for 10 years.

  • I say why all this super power granted to the government its NOT an economic or social system issue

  • People, understand that China is so Communist than USA are, those system serve for nothing, Capitalism use Science advance like was their idea, but it's SCIENCE who have helped people, not the Capitalism or the Communism.

I don't care what you're gonna tell me, people before thought world was flat, and obviously it's not, doesn't matter how many people think that the world is flat or that the Capitalism/Communism/Fascist works for the good of all will change the fact that Science is the answer.

  • 9:46 to 9:56. The only person in the video with sense.

  • The Fleabaggers need a bath. The Tea Party is like the common sense and educated version of protest in the United States.

  • That library that clinic those tents were damaged and removed by the police in a raid! Those people were beaten and arrested for ''Illegal assembly'' but they came back stronger!

  • lets stand tall together !!!

  • COMPLETELY slanted coverage. and WRONG. Just reverse it all and you've got the true picture.

  • Viva la revolucion!

  • They occupy a park lol.

  • this is a terrible-go down to Zuccotti Park and see if it is (1) clean (2) organized (it' chaos) (3) peaceful (as if the cops are the cause when it's not) (4) coherent (ron paul and anarchists and communists are side by side) (5) organic (it was at the beginning but it's not any more- unions are taking over (6) anything like the Arab Spring (it is in NO WAY like those protests) (7) supported by the 99%- this is a fringe crowd (8) helping anyone (small business in downtown are being demolished)

  • fuck barack obama is the big sionist

  • SSSSSSSSGGGGGGGG

    *

CAPITALISM WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO THE CONCENTRATION OF WEALTH, DUE IN PART TO ECONOMIES OF SCALE THEORY. THIS WOULD OCCUR EVEN IF YOU COMPLETELY REMOVED EVERY CORPORATION IN THE U.S. AS WELL AS THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL RESERVE

    *

A COMBINATION OF CAPITALISM (being able to have your own business, etc) AND SOCIALISM (universal healthcare, affordable higher education for all, etc) IS THE BEST OPTION

    *

THE TEA PARTY AND RON PAUL ARE NOT THE SOLUTION

    *

  • @Someideasandstuff Tea Party + socialism to some degree? Does not compute good sir.

  • @Gabbsmo have you heard of a place called Sweden?

  • @Someideasandstuff LOL I AM from sweden. But isn't Tea Party against everything public services because it will raise taxes?

  • @Gabbsmo Yes Tea Party is about helping yourself, not others. Anti-public-services. A real big-hearted bunch (*sarcasm).

  • @Gabbsmo s/he said tea party is NOT the solution, silly.

  • @Discordia5 my bad, so much Ron Paul on youtube >_<

  • @Someideasandstuff wow very well spoken... no need for caps lock your words rang very clearly

  • the current state of affairs reminds me of the late 1800's when the banks sucked up all the gold and forced the economy into chaos. if somweone wants to invest in gold that is their right, but i think a stirling solar dish pays back more.

  • hippies of 2011

  • 1% luxury, 99% poverty - ?

So... have the US citizens consider communism yet?

  • @CyberSetan have u considered suicide?

  • @MrPrinceOFpa why should I?

Its your country that is f*cked up. Not mine~

Go change your govt to Fidel Castro's style communist state - then all will be equal (more or less). None of this bickering about 1% rich, 99% piss poor~

  • @CyberSetan every country is fucked up hombre. i live just fine and so does my family but that doesnt mean anything to me. i fight for the least of these. its a Biblical thing. I would like to visit communist cuba and would like to learn and listen to the stories of those who live there but I am not such a fan of communism. thanx but no thanx. i am about taking money from rich people right now anyways. not always but atleast right now.

  • @CyberSetan Communism, really? You are a fucking idiot...Get educated in history dumbass

  • @Stunr99 You are the fucking Idiot~ What the FUCK do you know about communism?

The system obviously WORKS.. Just because it is called COMMUNISM doesn't automatically mean that it is a BAD system.

Just look at China now, while US is deeply in debt by the TRILLIONS of dollar, China's economy is BOOMING - US even have to borrow money from CHINA~

...and from the VIDEO ABOVE - it seems that the US citizens need such a system so that there WONT BE a 99% vs 1% problem~!!

    Go get EDUCATED~!!

  • @CyberSetan Did you really try to compare China and the U.S? You poor, sick, little individual.

  • @Stunr99 Looking down on China are you? Praising US as the all powerful 'rich' country?

US is borrowing money from CHINA and THAT IS A FACT~!! And THATs CAPITALIST COUNTRY BORROWING MONEY FROM A COMMUNIST COUNTRY~

You really don't get a lot of news about the world do you? From which shithole did you get your education from?

Please put yourself out-of misery already~

  • @CyberSetan I WAS NOT! YOU ARE MISSING THE WHOLE POINT. ALAS...COMMUNISM FAILS. OPEN AND BOOK AND SEE!!

  • @CyberSetan Hi I am from Trinidad. What has happened in the US economy has affected us here in Trinidad. What these people want is ACCOUNTABILITY! Your large cooperations and government have mishandled the people's money. Banks, lending agencies. Investment companies etc. They have all contributed to the demise of your economy. Wall Street is at the heart of your economy and it is at that heart is where you are most corrupt.

  • Where's Smedley Butler when you need him?

  • Thank you Obama for bailing out power white america!

  • RESEARCH ZIONIST,ZIONISM-YOU ALL WILL SEE WHOM IS THE ENEMY OF HUMANITY

  • lets fight for real democracy

  • I can see the appeal on a festival level but, as a tactic, I don't get it. It's called a movement, but almost everyone is just standing around in one place. Why should the financial elite change when the "poor" are so easy to ignore? Peace is a noble goal, but it makes a lousy tool. I see this "revolution" grinding to a halt when the snow comes.

  • If you live in the United States and make Minimum wage YOU ARE THE TOP 1% of the world

  • @denverJPUE hell yeah man theres no reason to be hungry in the USA , people things theyre want are the same as theyre needs

  • @510raskal Agreed I dont believe its the system, but the people who abused it and now need a way to get out of it....

  • @denverJPUE nope its the system because only a few are allowed to abuse it

  • @denverJPUE so many things wrong with this, but first the math: the US is 4.48% of the world population. second, it's based on an outdated view of a prosperous US and poor rest of the world (ie: ignoring growing middle classes in asia and latin america). thirdly: takes no account of purchasing power parity (HEALTH CARE is huge here). 4th, a central grievance is LACK of jobs for almost 10% of the population. 5th, does that mean they should shut up and deal with nearly unprecedented inequality?

  • @HarryRay Im trying to say multiple things with this statement.

    1. They are complaining about a certain percentage being "greedy"- Telling someone they are greedy automatically makes you the greedy person in the argument without the money

    2. They choose a bad way to change things- Sleeping outside of this place isnt going to change anything other then make some people angry

    3. I Understand why they are angry- But I dont understand what they are trying to do

  • @HarryRay By the way, The only statement is that if you make minimum wage you are the top 1% that might not be completely true but its around that, how many people dont have jobs just in the US (children, students, retirees) You also say that it is an outdated prosperous view of the US...have you been to other countries? there are homeless people in the US that live better then people in other countries....Im not trying to shut you out or anything Im just trying to give another perspective

  • the variety of comments just prove how polarizing this movement is.

i think there is substance and value behind it, but the solution is not

quite clear. but where in the guidebook does it state that there has to

be one? this demonstration is about venting frustration, being heard,

and getting attention. i'm not on the bandwagon (yet), but when i feel

the direction is solidified, i will put some time in at my local 'occupy'

party (big city). imagine this thing continuing for months... then what?

  • @EugeneRushmore What about getting out the vote and finding some candidates ?

  • 3:25 the most ridiculous "journalist reaction" shot I have every seen :-D

    What a clown :-D

  • Great that these people have so much spare time to do this.

  • A good example is where the elites in Rio using helicopter to offices to avoid favelas/slum and the peasants. They'll build more helipads so lets the dogs barking at concrete columns.

  • find a job you lazy people

  • Theres revolution in Libya. Why not in the USA?

  • The OWS is a wonderful opportunity for the pigs to get overtime. They could give a fuck less about protecting people and the movement. They could give a fuck less about 9/11 which they helped set up. NYPD developed this poor me attitude of self entitlement during the war and their murder rates went through the roof as they got away with killing suspects. The pigs are only fighting for job slots amongst themselves and that is their war. The American people are the enemy.

  • @mfresh1965 i doubt it

  • @mrg00ddude Your the idiot then. Never being fucked with by cops doesn't make you better than other motherfuckers. Your just a sheltered puss.

  • @mfresh1965 first i didn't comment on you i commented on the guy saying minimum wage workers are the top 1%

    2nd cops dont like me

3rd i never said i was above anybody

4th cops arent the only problem but also the willing indoctrinated and double think public are also accomplices

5th the movement is disorganized ready to be co opted into the mainstream by people who supposedly been there since the beginning or sympathize with the protesters

  • @mfresh1965 this is the comment i commented on "If you live in the United States and make Minimum wage YOU ARE THE TOP 1% of the world" idk how i commented on u

  • @mfresh1965 WHO fights for the pigs overtime? unions! the same scumbags at the protest

  • Government fucks everything up...

  • The rich in America basically believe that the old school Latin American dictatorship model is the way to go. This means a bloated military, building walls around their McMansions, separating themselves from the rest of society but leeching off the majority of the American through tax breaks and outright corruption.

  • What is with the cheesy Google Earth intro?

HURRR WEB 2.0 FUTURE IS NAO

    queers

  • Atlas' SHOULDERS MUST BE KILLING HIM! LOLOLOLOL

  • 28th amendment to the constitution:

"Corporations are not people. They have none of the Constitutional rights of human beings. Corporations are not allowed to give money to any politician, directly or indirectly. "

    wolf-pac[dot]com

  • Where's the diversity? All I see are a bunch of white folk. Just sayin'

  • hey energy institute... If you're going to try to tell me about Solyndra, don't play shitty music in the background! Thx..

  • Okay, I dig this vid and all, but... 3:24.... was that a joke?

  • War is when the government tells you who the enemy is, revolution is when the people decide that.

  • naked cowboy for president

  • @chetansingh2006 naked cowboy is there because naked cowboy likes attention.

  • It's really ironic how the entire Occupy Wall Street camp is an example of a free market but that's what they are protesting against!

  • @Gichnni , you are wrong buddy. They are protesting injustice and inequality in politics and finance. True Capitalism does Not allow baillouts. If you fail, you lose. The survival of the fittest. The marriage of politics and business is called faschism.

  • @Gichnni Occupy Wall Street isn't an example of "free market" it's an example of human rights. Money has no place here.

  • @Ievolovel Human rights my ass, if these idiots at occupy wall street would have put the same energy into their career as they do protesting this country would look different.

  • @Gichnni You do realize people are born others places and from other vaginas right? Not everyone gets made early and gets set up till they are done with college.

  • @Gichnni Yeah but it is really weird how you invent things in your head that make no sense and you actually believe it does. That's even more odd.

  • Great Protest, defend the justice for all

  • I don't get it, who took the mortgage? Banks or people? Were people forced to take loans? People were greedy, they wanted second, third house, because they thought they can sell it and make profit. It's simple math really.

  • @tommylodz2004 Ahhhh... finally a man who speaks the truth. Sadly, my friend... there is no reaching the child-mind of the liberal.

  • @tommylodz2004

Do some reading on the mortgage scam, and then think about that.

  • @tommylodz2004 Who the hell do you know that gets a second and third house you are an idiot.

  • @Cheshhire you're an idiot or you were born yesterday because this is what was happening

  • @tommylodz2004 Yeah in dreamland. People making more then 200k a year maybe but not the normal situation and not the working class.

  • @Cheshhire noone said everything is for everyone

  • @tommylodz2004 I dont accpect people to like the drums or whatever I could care less about them but who would not a better place for everyone well thats easy the greedy who just want a better place for themselves.

  • They really should protest the government, not the banks...

  • @Gichnni The bankers control the governments.....

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz Well, it's funny how these leftwing / liberals elected Obama, but he was the one that bailed out Wall Street.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz -it is a cult pretending to be jewish that are controlling the bankers-they in turn are controlled by yet another satanic cult called the jesuits of rome. They are sinister in their ideolgy and attempts to annhilate the earth populations but for a small number of slaves-THEY ARE SADLY MISTAKEN AND GOING TO BE DESTROYED!

  • @Gichnni no kidding. It's a major part of the problem.

  • TITS@ 5:22

  • A country of opportunities sold and down the drain. Arrivaderci!!!

  • The solution is - more free market, less government intervention!

    Capitalism all the way!

  • check your statistics Journeymanpictures. You might of gotten it wrong. :P

  • The monetary market system is the root cause of 99% of the worlds problems. The so called 1% are merely a symptom.
