I had a series 1 & a 3 Sunbeam Alpine not a really fast car by they handled well and were fun to drive. Wish I still had them probably worth a lot of money.

As a young guy I had owned 2 Alpines Series 1 & 3- great little fun car if 007 had been driving a Sunbeam Tiger they couldn't have gotten within a mile of him however I don't think the Tiger came out until about 1962-63? Does anyone know what vehicle Make the ugly black limo was?

For aficionados: the car is actually a Sunbeam Alpine Series 2. This model was built 1960 - 1963 and is recognizable thanks to it's characteristically pointed tail wings.

The car crash and the explosien in the end of the movie were a fascination in 1961 where it was showed in cinema.

FINALLY! Some music for this scene!

It always astonished me how the earlier Bond films had NO music during the action scenes. As a result, there was little to drive the emotions of the audience, and the scenes seemed a little lifeless.
